Chaos Chapter 19 #3
I slashed our prisoner’s arms and then other parts of his body with the knife.
I didn’t go deep. I didn’t want him to bleed out on us.
To my surprise, Mishap came to stand across from me.
He had a knife in his hand. He looked at me.
I gave him a chin lift. He helped to add to the slashes.
The growling, grunting, and rustling kept going.
“God, the bear is tearing you to pieces. Watch out! Here comes the werewolf,” I hollered during the session.
I said whatever popped into my head that I believed would be scary.
The tears increased, sweat poured off him, yet he never moved or made a sound.
Once we grew tired of cutting him, we placed our bloody knives on the tray.
I eyed the blowtorch. Not wanting to end things too soon, since I didn’t think he had been tortured enough for what he did to those women, I stepped back.
Everyone grew silent. I figured that, to Sinclair, the lack of noise and pain would heighten his fear.
He’d be waiting for the next attack, never knowing when it would come or how bad it would be.
It was hard to remain so quiet, but we did.
It stretched to a long ten minutes before I thought I’d waited long enough.
I knew how long it was because I checked my phone.
In the eerie glow of my cell phone, I nodded, then I put it away and picked up the blowtorch.
As I waited, I decided what mental image to trigger with this. I went back to stand over Sinclair.
“Sinclair, do you hear it? Shh, you’ve got to be still.
” Pause several beats. “Oh God, it’s coming!
It wants you. You hurt those women, and it doesn’t like that.
The dragon hates rapists, anyone who harms innocent women.
You killed Elodie. She never wanted you.
You raped her, and she killed herself because of it.
You have to pay for that, for eternity. The dragon is going to stay with you, along with the bear and werewolf.
They’re your punishment: an eternity stuck with them, tearing and biting you. Shit, here the dragon comes!”
I said it all in a low voice, a whisper, but with urgency and fear.
As I shouted that the dragon was coming, I ignited the torch and let the flame lick across his skin.
Almost instantly, the terrible smell of burned flesh started to fill the air.
It was a smell you never forgot. It clung to your nose.
But it was one most, if not all, of us had smelled before.
I moved the flame all over his body. Never holding it too long in one spot.
Sweat poured off his entire body. He was deathly pale.
“His pulse is erratic and racing. His heart might give out at any second,” Stitch warned me.
Not wanting Sinclair to die before issuing the final blow, one I thought poetic for a man like him, I put down the blowtorch and picked up my bloody knife again.
Then, with everyone watching, I lifted his pathetic excuse for a cock with my gloved hand and, using the serrated edge of the knife, not the smooth one, I sawed off his cock and balls.
I heard the hisses of empathetic pain from my brothers.
I winced, and my cock jerked, as if drawing up inside to hide.
As the blood poured from him, I took the removed appendage and tossed it on his chest.
As he bled out, I never looked away. Stitch monitored him.
I watched him place a blood pressure cuff around Sinclair’s upper arm, and he kept it there, with a stethoscope around his neck.
About five minutes later, Stitch pumped up the cuff.
He let out the air and listened intently.
He did it a second time. Then he felt the pulse in Sinclair’s neck. Finally, he looked up.
“He’s gone. It’s over.”
Its finality didn’t feel real. I felt let down.
As the adrenaline high I rode the entire time ebbed away, I felt drained and hollow.
Around me, my club discussed how to get rid of the body so no one would ever find it.
I concentrated on none of it. I snapped out of it when Mishap came up and touched my arm.
“Chaos, let’s get you cleaned up. You can’t go back looking like this and see my cousin. You’ll scare the shit out of her. You need to go home and tell her that Elodie and the others have been avenged. You did a great job.”
He squeezed my shoulder, then guided me toward the small bedroom we had in the Hole and into the bathroom where I’d be able to shower.
As the water in the shower heated, I removed my gloves and covering and tossed them in a trash can.
I knew they would be burned. Then I removed my boots and jeans.
Mishap took the boots over to the sink to clean the blood off them.
I stepped under the hot water and let it wash away the lingering numbness.
As it did, I felt my hope return. The future was bright and wide open for Bianca and me.
And my club was here with us, always there to protect each other.
