Chapter 36 #2
I gave him a deep quick kiss then walked away, but not before he slapped me on the ass and told me to grab a jacket before I got cold.
He was right, because I stayed getting cold really fast. Making my way outside, I watched Kyle hold the door open to the limo as Rellianah held her index finger all in the poor man’s face, going off about something new.
I felt bad for the man. He was going to have it hard now because Rellianah’s ass was pregnant and mean as hell.
The only effect I had of being pregnant was being emotional and having crazy food cravings.
Rellianah had bad cravings and a bad attitude and became very demanding without even realizing it.
I had to constantly bring her ass back down to earth.
“Can you leave sweet Kyle alone and think about giving the man a raise for all the shit you give him?” I made eye contact with Kyle, he offered me a look of relief.
“Look, don’t worry about me and my staff… did you bring my money out? I would hate to have to raise a foot to King ass! A bet is a bet, remember that.” Rellianah frowned.
She slid into the limo. I slid in after her as she continued to go on and on. “We going to the spa first. Ever since I’ve gotten pregnant, the aches in my body have been killing me. After that, I need to get a bottle of red wine to keep in my private room, so I can have a sip at least once a week.”
I looked at her and shook my head. “You better not do that to my niece or nephew, or I’m gone try to beat your ass myself.” I warned.
“You need to get with it,” she said, rolling her eyes as she typed something on her phone. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. “You stressing over something so gone and spill it.”
It was still crazy to me how well Rellianah could read me. She knew me very well and could always tell when something was bothering me.
“I’m not stressed. I just often wonder if I’m good enough for King… he’s done so much for me…”
“Girl, pause…” she held her dainty hand up and got dramatic as she rolled her neck, “King should be worried if he’s good enough for you!
Shit, I ask myself if I’m good enough to be a close friend of yours…
because you’re so pure Layloni. People like you don’t fall into groups like me and King’s…
I have selfish ways, King got selfish ways.
If you got selfish in you, I ain’t seen the shit yet.
You done made that man go from depressed and not speaking to the world, to running his mouth and smiling every chance he gets.
You done even inspired me… trust, I’m the one that does the inspiring, but you have inspired me to be a better woman…
looking at your normal life and you being so delicate and girlie with shit done made me put my real nigga card to the side and let my soft lady side do more of the talking. ”
I fell out laughing when she said that. What made it even more funny was she kept a stone face as she shrugged her shoulders.
“You even forgave that rat ass hoe, Shadonna.” She rolled her eyes real hard at the mention of her.
“I haven’t even spoken to her since she up and quit months back; she probably back hoeing.” I said, shrugging.
“Now, that she is doing!” Rellianah clapped her hands.
“She a part of one of the biggest hoe rings in Cali! They some top paid hoes and some bottom hoes; they get dough. My cousin that use to be like a sister to me is a nigga name Money bottom hoe. Well,” Rellianah popped her lips and rolled her eyes.
“Curly told me she no longer gotta hoe since her pimp wants to be with her. She claims to no longer be under a contract with the nigga.” She added.
Rellianah shook her head in disgust then continued as my heart stammered, thinking of what the hell Shadonna done got herself into this time.
“Curly is a cold bitch, a bad bitch and everything else above it. I still love her; I just hate her choices. I ain’t never knocked a bitch for using her pussy to survive…
it’s their choice! But, to give your money away to a nigga that calls himself a pimp!
That’s a no go for me! I don’t associate myself with dumb hoes…
” She tooted her nose to the window and shook her head.
“Shadonna there because she wants to be; her kids there too, but their fine. That nigga Money beat bitches and so do Curly. That’s who training Shadonna to take her place.
I talk to the bitch the other day; I always check in with her yearly to make sure she still alive.
I say the kids fine because Earlene is a cool older woman that looks after all the hoes kids.
She showers them with love and she uses Money’s cash to put them through private school…
I see that look on your face, you ain’t captain save a hoe, Layloni.
Let the shit go. Shadonna got to find herself and decide what she wants to do with her life…
let’s enjoy our day.” She eyed me seriously.
I wanted to let it go, but I couldn’t. When I was kidnapped, Shadonna helped me a lot. I wasn’t in the right mind frame; I wanted to die. She was the only support I had until I was rescued.
“Bitch, here we go, man…” Rellianah sighed, running her hands through her tresses. “Okay ok, you not as cold as me! Fuck the spa, let me tell the driver to take me over to Money’s mansion. I’m only doing this so you can see how much she doesn’t want to be saved.” She spat.
I nodded my head and watched her sit up to give the driver new instructions.
“You gone have us both in the damn doghouse after this! You better hope I still get some dick tonight.” She rolled her eyes.
“Thank you, Relli…Don’t act like this an inconvenience for you when you love getting into shit anyway.” I giggled.
She waved me off with a smile on her face, knowing what I said was the truth. Rellianah lived for violence.
We sat back and conversed on the way. I prayed King wouldn’t be upset at me.
I just needed to give Shadonna one last chance.
I knew how shit went with pimps; they didn’t just easily let a hoe walk away from their stable.
They were forceful and mean as fuck. I didn’t fear whoever Money was; I just didn’t respect his hustle.
I looked over at Rellianah and smiled as she pulled out a nine-millimeter gun and held it comfortably in her hands.
Soon as we pulled up to the huge mansion I glared at it in complete shock.
Rellianah had an excited look in her eyes like a kid seeing McDonald’s on a Friday night.
I had to give her ass a warning; I didn’t want no blood shed today and I didn’t want to commit no crimes.
“You already know you crazy as hell and trigger happy… don’t go in here trying to kill people. Don’t even demand nothing Relli. Be mindful that we are visitors, just checking in on a friend.”
“A friend? She ain’t my damn friend! I might as well make the best out of this and have a little fun.” She kissed her gun, making my stomach hurt.
“Gun powder ain’t good for the baby.” I warned.
“Girl, please! A lil gun smoke ain’t never hurt nobody, shit. I had to shoot a nigga when I was eight months pregnant with Christian.” She spat with maniac eyes.
“I swear you’re mental as fuck,” I chuckled as the driver opened the door for us to step out with Kyle and Rellianah’s two other security guards walking up to us with confused looks on their faces.
“If not me, then who? Now, let me go talk to my bodyguards and have them hold off on calling Cream… they can tell the men afterward. I guess this is forcing my hand to finally be nice to Kyle’s cry baby ass.” She shook her head.
Rellianah switched off hard approaching Kyle. She patted the top of his shoulder and smiled at him. The whole scene was comedy; the look on his face was even more hilarious. I made small steps to the massive front door and knocked three times and waited for someone to answer the door.
