Chapter 28
Chapter Twenty-Eight
When CJ wakes up, I’m going to fucking kill him for bringing his shot ass into my home. I was seconds away from having Molly’s mouth wrapped around my cock.
Molly. Fuck.
I didn’t want her to see any of this. When I heard Daniella screaming out for me, I knew shit had went south. She doesn’t have access to my house. All of my cousins do, however. Something I should really change if I’m going to be keeping Molly here.
That’s if she hasn’t already left. My house is swarming with people: my parents, my aunts and uncles.
They’re all fucking here. Hudson took Molly out of the room.
That was an hour ago. I haven’t seen him or her since.
I was busy trying to keep everyone else calm and stop all these fucking idiots from going out onto the streets and causing mayhem.
CJ jumped in front of Daniella when he saw a car come to a stop beside them.
The window rolled down and then the barrel of a gun was pointed at her.
Who the fuck is after a De Bellis in this country?
She’s from Australia. I’ve never heard of her family having any beef in the States.
Unless they were targeting CJ… or someone they thought he cared about.
Molly. Double fuck!
If the assholes trying to gain traction on the Strip are going after those we care about, Molly is going to have a target on her back.
Because of me. We were photographed together tonight, and if they’re not already out there, those pictures are going to be spread all over the news sites and gossip rags real soon.
“Alfie, you should go have a shower. I’ll bring you up some hot chocolate.” Mom stops in front of me as I’m on my way out of the living room.
That’s when Hudson decides to reappear. Alone. “Where is she?” I ask him, ignoring my mother.
“She went upstairs. Said she wanted a shower,” Hudson explains.
“Huh, a shower’s a great idea, Mom. Don’t bring up hot chocolate, though.” I smirk at my mother before walking out of the room. I hear her ask Hudson to clarify who was in the shower.
I take the stairs two at a time and start stripping my shirt off along the way. And when I reach the bathroom attached to my bedroom, the only thing I have left on are my briefs, which I make quick work of getting out of. Molly watches me through the glass.
She’s still here.
The unease I was feeling moments ago diminishes as I step into the shower. I’m trying to find the right words. How the fuck do I explain that sometimes people get shot in my world without scaring her away?
Molly reaches up, her fingers lock around my neck, and she pulls me closer to her. My arms loop around her back and I bury my face in the crook of her neck, breathing her in.
“I’m sorry,” she says, her voice soft.
“I’m pretty sure I’m supposed to be saying that to you.”
“Why?”
“Molly, you just saw my cousin bleeding out on the living room floor. That’s not normal for you. I really didn’t want you to have to see anything like that.”
“Well, it’s not normal for a majority of the world, Alfie. But you didn’t shoot him. I’m confused as to why he came here instead of a hospital, though?”
“Some things are better left undocumented,” I admit. “Also, Daniella drove him here thinking I was his best bet at survival. The rest of them followed after she called them in a panic.”
“Daniella, that’s the woman from Australia, the one CJ has a crush on?”
“Yeah, he jumped in front of her when he saw a gun pointed at her.”
“Someone wanted to hurt her? Why?”
“No idea. Her family is pretty big in the underworld in Australia, not so much here, though.” Fuck it, I have to just tell her.
It’s the right thing to do. Give her the option to leave.
“It could be because it’s well known that CJ cares about her.
If someone wanted to hurt him, hurt our family, they could target those we love. ”
“That’s really shitty.”
“It is. But it’s a reality we have to live with.” I sigh. “Molly, I want you here. I’m not telling you this to make you leave or try to scare you away. But you should know the risks involved in staying with me.”
“I have security, Alfie. I’ll be fine,” she insists.
“I’ve never seen your security.”
“That’s because they’re better trained than the goons you have following me around.” She laughs. “They’re paid well to blend in and be discrete. I also have a team of ten guys. I like to change them out regularly, give them plenty of down time so they can be at their sharpest when they need to be.”
“You really are smart as fuck, you know that?” I lean down and press my lips to hers.
“Thanks,” she mumbles against my lips.
Within seconds, my hands are gripping her ass and I’m picking her up. Molly wraps her legs around my hips as her back hits the tiled wall. She breaks away from the kiss and her lips tilt up slightly. “Fuck me… Daddy.”
I groan, and my impossibly-hard cock pushes into her wet opening. I look down at where our bodies connect. “You take my cock so fucking good.”
Molly snorts. “Seriously? I take it good? Is there a bad way to take it?”
The fact that she can get out a coherent sentence means she’s not being fucked thoroughly enough. That’s on me. I pull out and slam back in, causing a moan to spill from her lips.
“That’s more like it,” I grunt and repeat the motion. Not stopping until she’s coming all over my cock.
I pull out, letting her feet drop to the ground, and take my dick in my hand. My plan is to come on her stomach, but Molly has other ideas. She drops to her knees and shoves my hand away. Gripping the base of my cock, she slides her mouth over the length and sucks.
Fuck me…
My knees wobble and my balls tighten. I was already about to explode. Now I’ve got no chance of stretching this out. My come hits the back of her throat and she swallows. Once, twice, three times. When my cock falls from her lips, I lift her up.
“Good girl.” I smirk down at her and then take her mouth with my own.
I gave Molly one of my hoodies to wear. It’s long, covering her thighs, but knowing she has nothing on under it is driving me crazy already.
“Come on, I need to feed you.” I take her hand in mine.
“You kind of just did.” She laughs.
“Food, Molly,” I tell her as we make our way down the stairs, hand in hand.
“Is everyone still here?” She pulls away, takes her hair out of the messy bun on top of her head, and runs her fingers through to the ends.
“Yeah, probably. Want me to kick ?em all out?” I ask her.
“No, they’re your family, Alfie.”
“I like you better, though, so I will.” I shrug.
Walking us right past the living room that my parents and aunts and uncles are in, I continue into the kitchen. I really should give Molly some food. It’s also late as fuck. How she’s not passed out already is beyond me.
“Why don’t you sleep much?” I question as I sit her on a stool at the counter.
“I’m usually working. And I like the quiet of the late night.”
“There is nothing quiet about tonight,” I grunt, pulling out a premade lasagna that my Aunt Antonia gave me yesterday. “You’re going to love my aunt’s lasagna. It’s the best.” I cut out a slice, pop it on a plate, and then heat it up in the microwave.
“Oh, Molly, sweetheart, Alfie didn’t tell me you were here.” Mom walks into the kitchen, opening a cupboard and taking out a pot. “I’m making you hot chocolate,” she says. “Both of you.”
“And me?” Hudson sits next to Molly at the counter.
“Sure.” Mom busies herself with the hot chocolate while Molly looks like she wants the world to swallow her whole.
Her wide eyes meet mine with a what the fuck look in them, and her hands pull at the fabric of the hoodie.
“Sorry,” I mouth.
“Mrs. Giuliani, you really don’t need to make me hot chocolate,” Molly says.
“It’s no trouble, and Alfie likes hot chocolate at night—well, anything sweet really. He’s got a real sweet tooth this one,” Mom says, and now I want the world to swallow me whole.
“Oh, I saw the stash.” Molly laughs.
“What stash?” I ask her.
“The one you’re hiding behind that wall. Hudson showed me.” Molly points to the blank wall concealing the pantry no one is supposed to know about.
I turn my glare on my brother. “How the fuck do you know that’s there?”
“You’re shit at hiding things.” Hudson laughs.
“What else have you found in my house?”
“Your armory.” Hudson shrugs.
“No, you haven’t.” Molly snickers. “That’s the room he’s still looking for. But I know where it is.” She smiles at Hudson as she says this.
“I’ll pay you a million dollars to tell me where it is,” my brother urges her.
“A million dollars is pocket change to me, Hudson. You’re going to have to go a lot higher than that.” Molly continues to smile at him.
I place the plate down in front of her and hand her a knife and fork. Then I lean in and press my mouth against her ear. “I will give you unlimited orgasms for the rest of your life if you don’t ever give him that information,” I whisper.
“I have a counter offer,” she whispers back. “I will let you give me a lifetime of orgasms if you warn me next time your mother is in your house. I’m not even dressed, Alfie.” She sits straight in her seat before adding, “I would never have told him anyway, but I like your offer.”
