51. Sebastian

Chapter 51

Sebastian

Lil’s been wandering the old house for over two hours now. I lean against my SUV, checking the cam feed on my phone again.

Levi said she wanted to do this alone, so I’m gonna let her. But I also promised her that I would be here if she needed me. Thanks to Levi, I can keep that promise.

Honest to God, I don’t know what Lan’s problem is. Okay, maybe it’s because of Anne. But seriously, the only woman that exists for me is Lil.

All my life, it was her.

Up on these stairs was the first time I saw her. All those years ago, when we were kids, she was tumbling out with her hands over her ears, eyes closed and sobbing.

She mumbled something about needing to hide from the monster, her bottom lip quivering between her teeth. I took some steps back and looked for injuries, as I would with Gem. She had some blood on her, and her knee was split open. So, I held out my hand to help her up.

At your service, my princess.

Even then, she had the habit of biting her lip .

That simple gesture was what made me recognize her at the college party. Once she told me her name, it all clicked into place, and after confirming her last name, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that she was my princess.

Lil emerges from the house, stopping at the top of the stairs and looking down.

Fuck. 2 weeks. 2 weeks since I talked with her in the hospital. 2 weeks of not knowing if I’ll ever see her again.

“Hey.” My voice is rough. “You okay, princess?”

Her eyes find mine, haunted by the wreckage of everything she’s endured, yet somehow softened by a fragile sense of relief. She descends and the shimmer of unshed tears becomes more pronounced, as if she’s on the verge of breaking with each step.

I push off the SUV, shoving my phone in my pocket and striding over. She reaches the bottom and stops a few feet away from me. Close enough to touch, but it feels like there’s still a fucking chasm between us.

“Sebastian.” Her eyes glisten.

I take a tentative step closer, my heart hammering against my ribs. “Princess.”

She bites her trembling lip. That same little gesture I grew to love.

“I’m sorry.” She rubs her eyes. “I don’t know what to do.” Her voice breaks. “How do I ever repay you?”

Fuck it. I close the distance, hauling her into my arms.

Instantly, she melts against me, her face buried in my chest. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Sobs wreck her body, and it breaks my heart.

I hold her close, one hand cradling the back of her head as she cries into my chest. Her tears soak through my shirt, but I don’t give a fuck. All that matters is that she’s here, in my arms .

“You don’t owe me anything,” I murmur into her hair. “I did what I had to do. For you.”

She pulls back slightly, her eyes glistening. “But… but you killed someone. Because of me.”

I cradle her face in my hands, my thumbs brushing away her tears. “And I would do it again. I couldn’t let him take you from me.”

Her lips tremble. “I don’t know how to feel. I’m so confused.”

“I know. I know.” I press my forehead against hers, closing my eyes. “But we’ll figure it out together.”

Her hands fist in my shirt, holding on tight. “Promise?”

“I promise. I’m not going anywhere.”

She’s quiet for a long moment, her breath shaky against my lips. Then, slowly, she nods.

I press a kiss to her forehead, letting my lips linger. She’s here. She’s in my arms.

And for the first time in two fucking weeks, I can breathe again.

“You’re still my knight in shining armor, then?” she asks.

I tilt her chin up, searching her eyes. “I never stopped. I love you, princess. I always have. I always will.”

Her eyes shine bright. “I love you too.”

I capture her mouth in a slow, deep kiss. It’s a promise, a vow, a fucking prayer. She responds, her lips parting under mine, and I pour every ounce of my love, my devotion, into the kiss.

When we finally break apart, both breathing hard, I rest my forehead against hers again. “I’ve missed you. It’s been a long two weeks.”

“Too long.” She nips at my lower lip.

I scoop her into my arms and head for the car. Her brothers don’t need to see this. “Get in.” I set her down and open the backseat door. She slips inside, and I follow, shutting the door behind us .

I yank her onto my lap so she straddles me, her skirt riding up her thighs. “Did you miss this?” I scrape my teeth over her pulse point.

She rolls her hips, grinding down on my growing erection. “I did.”

I kiss her again, all tongue and teeth, and she whimpers, her fingers threading through my hair, tugging just the way I like.

Breaking the kiss, I trail my lips along her jaw, nipping at the sensitive skin. “Do you want me to show you how much I did, princess?”

“Yes. Please, Sebastian.”

I slip my hand between her legs, pushing her panties aside. She’s already wet, her arousal coating my fingers. “This all for me?”

“Always.” Her hips buck against my hand.

I circle her clit with my thumb, reveling in the way she shudders and moans. “That’s my good girl.”

She rests her forehead against mine. “I need you. Now.”

I don’t need to be told twice. I free my cock from my jeans, stroking myself a few times. She watches, her lower lip caught between her teeth.

Fuck. It does so many things to me.

Gripping her hips, I guide her down onto my cock. We both groan as I ever so slowly fill her, stretching her tight heat inch by delicious inch.

“Ride me, princess.” My voice comes out in a husky growl. “Take what you need.”

She starts to move, rising and falling on my cock. I thrust up to meet her, our bodies finding the familiar rhythm, and the car fills with the sounds of our panting breaths and the slap of skin on skin. She feels so fucking good, her walls gripping me.

“Sebastian.” She whimpers. “I’m close.”

“Eyes on me.” I fist a hand in her hair, and her eyes fly open meeting mine. “I want to see you. ”

She picks up the pace, riding me faster and harder, her hips grinding against mine.

“Come for me, princess.” I dig my fingers into the flesh of her ass and slam her down onto my cock.

“Sebastian.” She shatters with a cry, her body quivering.

I bury my face in her neck, spilling deep inside her with a guttural groan as she collapses against my chest. Both of us breathe hard, and I wrap my arms around her, holding her close and inhaling her chocolate scent. My princess. Finally, back in my arms.

“We should probably head back soon,” she murmurs against my skin.

“Mmm, five more minutes.”

“Your five minutes always turn into another round.”

“Can you blame me?” I palm her breast. “I love you.”

She hums. “I love you, too.”

She is it for me, my one and only, and I will do whatever is needed to make her happy.

“I can’t wait to put a ring on your finger, princess.”
