I know sending a second letter is a touch unusual so soon after I sent the first. Heck, I don’t know if you’ve received the first one yet because it seems to take aaaaages for letters to arrive, but I wanted you to know that I’m thinking of you.

I’m a sort-of Catholic. Sort of because my nonna is the whole hog and she’d cry if she thought I wasn’t practicing. (Though, the older she gets, the less she cares, but I still don’t want to disappoint her!) Anyway, I went to church the day I received your letter and lit a candle for Ricky.

I know it’s not much, but I wanted you to know I’m thinking of you both.
