Chapter 20

Chapter Twenty

Cami

Back at the cabin, Lex and I raided the kitchen for deli meat, cheese, and fresh bread. We made sandwiches piled high with turkey and all the fixings, grabbed chips and fruit, and settled on the couch to eat.

“I’m exhausted,” I admitted after finishing half my sandwich. “In the best way.”

“Pool will do that to you.” Lex stretched out, pulling me against his side. “We should nap. Recharge.”

“A nap sounds perfect.”

We moved to his bed, and I curled into him fully clothed, my head on his chest. His fingers traced lazy patterns on my back, and within minutes, I was drifting off to the sound of his steady heartbeat.

I woke to the most incredible smells. Garlic, cheese, tomato sauce, something savory and rich.

My stomach growled immediately, and I sat up, disoriented.

Lex was still asleep beside me, his face relaxed and peaceful.

I checked the time. We’d been asleep for two hours, and it was just past 6 p.m. Carefully, I slipped out of bed and followed the scents downstairs.

Majesty was in the kitchen, and the sight of him made my heart skip.

All black t-shirt stretched across his broad shoulders, and his jeans that fit perfectly.

The counter was covered with pizzas. Pepperoni, veggie, cheese, what looked like Italian meatball, and chicken Alfredo.

A large salad sat in a bowl, and sweet-heat BBQ wings were just coming out of the oven.

“Majesty,” I breathed.

He looked up and his face broke into a warm smile as he placed the tray on the stovetop. “Hey, beautiful. Good nap?”

I crossed to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, pressing my face against his chest. “I missed you today.”

“I missed you too.” He tilted my face up and kissed me, slow and thorough. “Did you have a good day with Lex?”

“The best. We went to the pool, raced on the slides, and had a water fight.” I pulled back and looked at the spread. “What’s all this?”

“Dinner. We’re having guests over.” He checked his watch. “They’ll be here in about forty-five minutes. Go get washed up, wake Lex, and get ready. He’ll tell you what to wear.”

“Guests?” I asked, curiosity piqued.

“Elara and her men. We thought it’d be nice to have a double date of sorts.” He pressed another kiss to my forehead. “Now go. Don’t want to be late.”

I hurried back upstairs and gently shook Lex awake. “Hey, Sir. Majesty’s making dinner. We have guests coming in forty-five minutes.”

His eyes opened, immediately alert. “Elara and her men agreed?”

“That’s what he said.”

“Good.” He sat up and stretched. “Go shower and I’ll bring you what you’re wearing.”

Twenty minutes later, I emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a towel to find an outfit laid out on the bed. My breath caught.

A black leather corset dress with silver eyelets lacing up the front to just above my breasts. The skirt was short and pleated and would hit me mid-thigh. Beside it lay a leather thong and black boots.

“Lex,” I called.

He appeared in the doorway. “Yes?”

“This is... very sexy.”

“That’s the point.” He moved closer, his eyes traveling over me. “I want you in that. Hair curly. Dark lipstick. Can you do that?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Good girl.” He pressed a kiss to my bare shoulder. “I’ll be downstairs helping Majesty. Come down when you’re ready.”

He left, and I stared at the outfit. This was different from anything I’d worn before. More revealing. More deliberately provocative.

But as I put it on, lacing up the corset that pushed my breasts up and together, I felt powerful.

The skirt was indeed short, flaring out when I moved.

The boots added height and attitude. I curled my hair until it fell in waves past my shoulders, then applied dark lipstick that made my mouth look fuller, more defined.

I added eye shadow, a cat wing, and bronzer to complete the look.

When I looked in the mirror, I barely recognized myself.

I looked confident. Sexy. Like I was serving myself up to the two men I was being courted by.

I took a breath and headed downstairs. Majesty was setting out plates and glasses, but he stopped mid-motion when he saw me. His eyes went dark, his jaw tightening.

“Fuck,” he breathed. “Cami, you look...”

“Incredible,” Lex finished, appearing from the kitchen. “Absolutely incredible.”

I felt heat rise in my cheeks, but I held my ground. “You like it?”

“Like doesn’t begin to cover it.” Majesty moved toward me, his hand sliding around my waist. “I want to skip dinner and take you upstairs right now.”

“No skipping dinner,” Lex said, but his eyes were just as heated. “We have guests arriving any minute.”

“Thank you, brother, for the gift,” Majesty said as he nipped my neck.

“Certainly,” Lex said.

“You smell edible. Fucking delicious,” Majesty murmured against the skin at my neck.

I gasped, willing to bet everything I had on him right now.

As if on cue, there was a knock at the door.

Majesty growled like the sexy beast he was, giving me chills.

He wanted me right now and I wanted to serve him.

But now we had people outside the front door waiting for us.

Is it bad that I wanted to ignore it, strip, and let the two of them have their way with me?

Lex answered, and Elara swept in with her characteristic energy, followed by her three men.

“We brought wine!” she announced, then stopped when she saw me. “Damn, Cami. You look amazing.”

“Thank you,” I said, suddenly shy despite the bold outfit. “You look good yourself, mama.”

Elara was wearing a black bra with bling all over it, a tutu skirt, black and silver platform shoes, and her red hair seemed roaring bright tonight as if it were freshly dyed.

Her men followed her in. Tavi, with his long ponytail and the scent of aromatic smoke clinging to him, gave me a warm smile.

Torin, wearing a Kangol hat that somehow worked perfectly with his outfit, nodded appreciatively.

Caesar, clean-cut with shoulder-length hair worn loose and sleek, offered a hand to shake.

“It’s good to see you outside of class,” Caesar said. “You were excellent during the demonstrations.”

“Thank you.”

Dinner was lively and fun. The pizzas were perfect, the wings had just the right amount of heat, and the conversation flowed easily.

Elara told stories about her restaurant that she ran out of her mansion, the challenges of coordinating four schedules, the joy of coming home to all three of her partners.

“How do you manage it?” I asked. “The coordination. Making sure everyone feels valued.”

“Communication,” Tavi said, his voice calm and measured. “Constant communication.”

“And intentionality,” Torin added. “We make sure Elara gets individual time with each of us, not just group time.”

“Plus,” Caesar said with a grin, “we genuinely like each other. That helps.”

“It does,” Elara confirmed. “If they didn’t get along, this wouldn’t work.”

I looked at Majesty and Lex, saw the easy friendship between them, and understood. That foundation made everything else possible.

After dinner, as we were clearing plates, Lex said casually, “We’re heading to the Dungeon. Anyone interested in joining?”

Elara’s eyes lit up. “We were going there after this.” She slid onto Torin’s lap and rested her feet in Tavi’s lap.

My heart rate picked up. The Dungeon. Tonight.

“Cami,” Lex said, his voice dropping into that commanding tone. “Go wait by the door. We’ll be there in a moment.”

“Yes, Sir.”

I moved to the entryway, my pulse racing. This was happening. A real scene. In the actual Dungeon.

When everyone was ready, we walked across the grounds together. I was quiet and nervous because there wasn’t a class to distract Lex and Majesty. It was just going to be us.

“We’ve got a private room,” Lex announced. “Maybe we’ll see you guys afterward.”

The guys were all chatting when Elara came over to me.

Elara squeezed my hand. “Have fun. And remember your safe words. Though by looking at those two, you’ll probably pass out in bliss before you need that.”

I smiled, hoping that she was right. Lex led me down a hallway to a room at the end.

Inside was well-equipped for what seemed like everything he could need.

A padded table in the center, cabinets along the walls, dim lighting that created shadows.

Some kind of medical kits and a bunch of glass cups that I didn’t recognize.

He closed and locked the door behind us, then turned to face me fully.

“Color?” he asked.

“Green, Sir. Is it just us?”

“It is.” He waited for me to say more and when I didn’t, he spoke again. “Would you like Majesty to join us?”

“I–Is he out there playing?” I asked honestly. Trust… I had to be brave to ask the questions I needed answers to. Then able to trust that I’d receive the truth even if it was difficult to hear.

“No. Babygirl, we share you together, but you won’t be sharing us with anybody. He’s out helping Derek monitor the play area. The only two people he’s interested in playing with are in this room. He’s only not here because it’s my day.”

I swallowed, happy that I’d asked. Relieved that I had.

“Then no, I don’t want him to join us.” I wanted to see how they differed in play. Hopefully, I’d get time with Majesty, too.

I also noticed the way Lex seemed relieved that I’d said no to Majesty joining us. He wanted this time alone with me as well. Now I understood what they were teaching us in the class. It’s important to be present with the partner you were spending time with.

“Good. Before we start, I need to explain what we’re doing tonight.” He moved closer, his hand cupping my face. “Fire play. I’m going to use fire on your skin. It’s going to be intense, but I promise you’ll be safe. I’ve done this hundreds of times. Do you trust me?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Good. Your safe words are red to stop, yellow to pause, green to continue. If you can’t speak, tap three times rapidly. Understood?”

“Yes, Sir.”
