Chapter 7

Chapter Seven

COLBY

Iwatched from the armchair set toward the bed for this exact purpose.

To observe.

My hand pressed down on my aching erection, and I tried to think non-sexy thoughts to calm it down, but with Kaleb and Lottie naked on the bed, there was no way that would ever happen.

She was an angel.

Kaleb rolled off her and gathered her against his side. He brushed the hair away from her face, and the reverence in his eyes took my breath away.

“She’s incredible,” Andrei whispered to no one specific. I don’t think he even realized he spoke out loud.

"She really is," I replied, then cleared my throat as it swelled with emotion.

"We're incredibly lucky guys." Kaleb trailed his fingers down her cheek, not looking away from her for one second.

"I think I'm the lucky one if you all fuck like that," Lottie giggled, her voice muffled by Kaleb's chest.

"Language, baby girl." Kaleb tweaked her nose, but his smile said he wasn't serious about it.

We all knew Lottie cussed. A lot. We couldn't change that part of her behavior, and honestly, I didn't give two shits about if she did or not. Our rules revolved more around safety and security. Which she mostly stuck to.

With a grin, I rose to my feet and retrieved a warm washcloth from the bathroom. I handed it to Kaleb, and he rolled Lottie onto her back to clean between her legs. She would thank us for that later. I'm sure she didn't want to nod off and wake up sticky with dried come between her thighs.

"Give me just a few minutes to recharge then I'll be ready to go again." She fought back a yawn as she spoke.

We chuckled.

“Why don’t we let you take a nap, then we’ll give you a nice bath?” I asked with a smirk.

Andrei and I knew we’d have to ease her into this, and probably wouldn’t be getting our turn tonight.

Watching was enough for me.

At least for now.

"Sounds good, Daddy," she slurred as her eyes fluttered shut, and she drifted off to sleep.

I bit down on my knuckle as I thanked whatever God was out there for blessing us with this amazing woman.

"Thank you," Kaleb whispered, and it took me a minute to realize he wasn't talking to Lottie, but to Andrei and me.

"For what?"

Andrei looked just a puzzled as I was.

"For letting me be first." He glanced back down at Lottie before lifting his gaze to meet mine. "I know we're sharing and finding the rhythm of what that means, so thanks for letting me be first."

Kaleb and Andrei hadn't had the best lives growing up.

My childhood wasn't sunshine and roses, but I had an amazing and loving mother.

Plus, her family that made that childhood a happy and loving one.

If anything, they could be a little too smothering.

I wouldn't complain about that again, after knowing how Kaleb had grown up.

Note to self, make sure to get Ma over here for dinner to meet Lottie.

She knew we'd been dating, but I hadn't told her how serious it was just yet.

Or that I was sharing her with Andrei and Kaleb. She knew they were my best friends, and we spent a lot of time together. But I'd never been sure of how to tell her I'd eventually share a partner with them.

That was going to be a fun conversation.

Luckily my mom tended to be very mellow, especially as she'd gotten older. She still lived in the house I grew up in, even at the age of seventy, and substitute taught as much as she could.

"It doesn't matter who is first or last." Andrei's eyes darkened as they roamed over Lottie's naked body. "All that matters is her. How we feel about her, and worship her as much as possible."

"What he said," I agreed with a laugh and pointed at Andrei.

Seeing the change in my Russian best friend over the last three months had been nothing short of a miracle. As if being with Lottie and being around her weren't enough, she'd made us all better men. She changed our lives for the better with each second of the day.

"Agreed, but still. Thanks." Kaleb let out a sigh and his eyes drifted shut. He'd had the weight of the world on his shoulders for so long that seeing him let down his guard and relax was a welcome sight.

"Now we just have to figure out how to get rid of the Wicked Witch of the West," I muttered, referring to Kaleb's bitch of a mother. "I'm not one to talk bad about anyone's mom, but Jesus Christ, she is a piece of work."

"I really don't want to talk about her right now." Kaleb opened one eye and conveyed that the subject was closed for the night.

"Got it."

Andrei and I would just have to work out a plan on our own.

"I'm going to work on some research for a few hours until Lottie wakes up. I have a few articles are due for a peer review at the end of the month." I rose and padded across the room, not bothering to put my shirt back on. "Come grab me then."

"I'm going to catch up on some emails." Andrei hopped off the bed and joined me by the door.

We both glanced back at Kaleb and Lottie curled together in the center of the bed. He clasped me on the shoulder, and we left, shutting the door softly behind us.
