Charisma #2

“I got a real big dick. But more than that, I give more damns about you than I do myself. You were the other half of me wondering this earth and now you came in my life and think I won’t handle every part of you with care?

No man worth being called one is going to fumble his greatest blessing.

Now, come with me to this bathroom so I can suck this first orgasm out of you before dinner. ”

“Nathaniel Josiah Chisholm-Love if you don’t step away from that girl right now!”

His mama’s voice interrupted whatever move he was going to make but we didn’t move away from one another.

I couldn’t, too mesmerized by the way he was looking at me.

Nate was intense, and that intensity was something I needed.

My mind was truly contemplating how we could get to that bathroom despite his mother obviously watching us.

“I ain’t doing nothing wrong, mama!”

His voice rose slightly so he could answer his mother with his eyes still trained on me.

They narrowed, turning predatory, seductive, making his gaze that much more unnerving.

Nate had a way of seeing me. Stripping me down to my core and admiring the view.

Looking at me like he wanted to protect me without caging me in.

To make me cum and grant me every desire of my heart because with him around, I wouldn’t need a genie.

How in the hell was any woman supposed to resist that?

“Stop being fresh and introduce us to the young lady, son. I feel left out because I’m the only one who hasn’t met her.”

“I haven’t either daddy. Nate’s acting like a dragon keeping his treasure locked up.”

More people were apparently observing the standoff between the two of us and I finally broke away from his gaze. What awaited me on the once empty side porch was an entire family with knowing grins on their faces as they watched the way we’d behaved.

I could feel the heat crawling up my face recalling what was on my mind as they’d observed us.

They were a myriad of melanin- from the deepest molasses in Doc to the light honey brown of a woman that looked to be around my age.

I could immediately pick out who was related and who had married in.

The tall man at the back had to be the one that helped Nate come out of his depression and the possessive way he held the woman next to him meant she was Nate’s baby sister.

She was grinning as she observed her brother and the smile she gave me was warm and welcoming.

Nate tugged on my hand forcing me to look at him. “Come on, let me introduce you to the family.”

He walked me up the few steps and began to introduce me to everyone. His parents hugged me and his dad gave him a nod of approval. Even though I had so much keeping me from crossing the line with him it made me feel good.

His older brother gave me a side hug and his sister-in-law Yzabel hugged me and welcomed me to the family. His sister promised to give me all the dirt on him that I needed and her man just gave me a nod. Doc looped his arm through mine and announced that he was going to escort me to the table.

Dinner was the type of event that people would use as the blueprint for Sunday dinner in a Black sitcom.

The home was decorated in different styles of black art and the dining room was no exception.

I wanted to study the work but was too shy to ask.

Nate told me he would bring me back so that I could view them more in-depth.

I appreciated that he didn’t out me on the spot by speaking about my art in front of everyone else.

We shared a meal that made me nostalgic for back home.

Barbecue beef and pork ribs, macaroni and cheese, rolls that had to be homemade because they tasted like carbs and love, a big ass salad from vegetables grown on the property and corn that Mrs. Maureen said she’d canned herself.

A caramel cake and a blueberry pie were available for dessert.

I thought for sure that they’d made too much food but I was wrong.

Through conversations and playful ribbing, the three younger men, Nate, his brother and Rafael whom they called Runt, ate more food than the rest of the table.

Two of them were professional athletes and Sampson rode horses and wrangled cattle for a living so it made sense.

After dinner Rafael and Reece left since he had a team event he had to get to. Doc went for a ride and the older Chisholm-Loves went for a walk around the property.

That left Nate and me along with Yzabel and Sampson.

“Nate, I need to holla at you about the updates you found out.”

We’d been sitting in the massive sunken family room battling the itis, when Sampson spoke up.

He looked more like his father but he and Nate favored a lot.

Nate was a good blend of both his parents, whereas his sister took their mother’s whole face.

Sampson’s hair wasn’t as long as Nate’s but it hung down to his shoulders and he wore a similar outfit to his brother.

Nate almost hesitated to get up off the sofa but Sampson gave him a look that meant he wasn’t asking and he shifted his attention to me. “You’ll be good alone?”

“Gotdamn, Bucky, I’m not going to eat the girl. I’ll save that for you since you tried to do that before dinner started.” Yzabel was grinning as she teased us and I could only drop my head. She wore a pretty linen two-piece set completely at ease in her in-law’s home.

“I would joke back but that would just mean Samp would get distracted and then he’d be bothering me about this later.

So I’ll keep my smart remark to myself.” Nate scooted to the edge of the sofa before he stood up to follow his brother.

He only got two steps away before he turned around and bent over me placing a kiss on my lips that shocked me.

It was brief but still contained the promise that he would bend me over as soon as he got done with his talk. Nate smirked at me when he stood up before following Sampson into a different area of the house.

“You seem a little starstruck.”

I looked up and saw that Yzabel wasn’t even looking at me; she was watching her husband walk away. But from the smirk on her face she understood that I was pretty much at a loss for words with what just happened with Nate.

I cleared my throat and glanced back at his retreating form, loving the way he filled out his jeans.

I’d never seen denim on a man that was fitted without being skinny and just loose enough to let you know his dick was big and he knew how to use it.

His jeans weren’t a weekend accessory; they were a part of him that he wore as easily and as confidently as he did his long hair.

Nate had the self-esteem that some would call arrogant only because they envied him and the way he so easily moved through life.

“Yeah, that’s a good way to put it.”

Yzabel turned to me, still smiling, but this time it felt more inquisitive. “But not because you think he’s a star.”

It was odd because I rarely thought about Nate and what he did for a living. The idea of his being famous didn’t register to me but I knew it would come up soon. The opening gala was happening and rodeo season would be in full swing. His training had increased and he spent less time in the office.

I shook my head and felt tongue-tied because I wasn’t sure how to explain how I was feeling without sounding ridiculous to this woman. “No, not that. I…he seems…”

“Larger than life.”

I snapped my fingers because that seemed to be the best way to explain exactly how Nate moved in my presence.

“Yeah! That! I wasn’t sure how to put it into words but that seems to fit perfectly.

Almost like he’s too good to be true. Because they don’t really make them like that, right? That’s not like a thing, right?”

She was giggling at the way I was speaking in circles and I was glad she didn’t think I was a fool.

She leaned back on the sofa looking as pleased with herself as possible.

Her green eyes were perfectly highlighted by the blue in her clothing.

Yzzy tucked one of her legs beneath her getting comfy before she responded.

“I know exactly how it is. I’ve been where you are: Amazed in the presence of this man who feels as solid as the very earth beneath your feet and then he opens his mouth and solidifies that he truly is perfection.

That feeling hasn’t gone away yet and it’s been more than three years.

” She smiled softly looking back in the direction her husband had gone before turning back to me.

“So I won’t tease you too badly. But yeah, they make them like this.

Two of them muthafuckas if we’re being specific because yours learned from mine.

” She held up her two fingers to emphasize her point, which had me cracking up.

“He’s not mine.”

She smirked and raised her brows like yeah, whatever you say. “Yeah, that kiss says something else.”

My eyes darted to where they had walked making sure Nate was out of earshot.

I leaned over shortening the space between where we were sitting and asked what I’d been dying to ask all night.

“So it’s not an act?” Her head shook and she was back to grinning at me and I knew I looked a besotted fool but damn if I didn’t care.

“Wow…it’s just…I’m trying so hard to adjust to what is going on. ”

“What adjustment needs to be made? There’s lube and—”

My jaw hit the floor because this woman looked as innocent as a lamb but she was offering me advice on how to take dick! I tried to keep my face in a semblance of calm but I was barely keeping it together. “My…situation…with your brother-in-law…I wouldn’t know anything about his…”

It wasn’t the complete truth nor was it a total lie because I had seen and felt to some extent what Nate was working with. And it was a monster.
