Cowboy
I enjoyed the admiring looks Saranya and War gave the compound when we entered through the gate, and they caught sight of the clubhouse.
Since it was dark, they wouldn’t be able to see the houses other than part of Diablo’s, Scorpion’s, and the guest house, which were close to the front.
The stables and the other houses were further back in the shadows. However, for tonight, it was enough.
I found a parking spot in front of the clubhouse.
We designated the closest ones for bikes and the farther back area for vehicles.
Since it was just us tonight, I parked with the bikes.
After assisting Saranya out, War and I carried the desserts she had prepared.
I led even though I had my hands full with dessert and her.
I let go only long enough to hit the button that opened the door.
It had been installed to make entry easier for Swerve, though we all used it.
From outside, muffled voices and laughter were heard.
When the door opened, the sound got louder and clearer.
Entering, I quickly scanned the large common room.
It appeared that everyone was here. Great.
Diablo had outdone himself. When I told him I was bringing them, I explained I had gotten Saranya to agree to date me.
He’d congratulated me and assured me that the club would make them both feel welcome, not that I ever doubted it.
I grinned when I saw a sign hanging over the bar.
It read, Welcome, Saranya & War. I wondered who did it.
I didn’t get a chance to announce us before Jaycee was racing toward us.
Her faithful Isis was at her side, and Fenrir and Dozer were right behind.
The dogs got ahead of her and stopped, blocking her access.
I knew why. They didn’t know War, and only Dozer had met Saranya. They were protecting the little girl.
The adults’ attention was attracted to her running, and we were spotted. As greetings were called out, Scorpion, Diablo, and Swerve, along with their old ladies, moved our way, with others not far behind. I noticed how War placed himself between Saranya and the dogs.
“Boden, will you take these and put them on the bar?” I called over to him.
He trotted over right away. Lucky came with him, and the two of them took the desserts to the bar. I called after them, “Keep your fingers out of them until Saranya says you can have some.” They grinned back at us.
“Welcome to the Horsemen’s compound. Isis, sit. Friend,” Diablo said.
Isis relaxed. One after the other, Dozer and Fenrir were commanded by Scorpion and Swerve to do the same.
With them out of the way, Jaycee hugged me first, then Saranya.
Then she paused and stared up at War, who was watching her with a smile.
When her hands started to fly, asking who he was, his eyes widened.
“Sweetheart, you’ve lost me. I have no clue what you said.”
“She asked who you are and why you’re with Uncle Cowboy and Sari,” Paige translated.
“Tell her my name is War, and I’m Sari’s best friend. Oh, and it’s nice to meet her,” he replied.
“She reads lips as long as you speak clearly. If you have a bushy beard, she can’t follow. It hides lips,” Scorpion explained.
I watched as Jaycee took War’s hand and tugged on it. When he leaned down, Jaycee hugged him and smiled. His bemused expression made me chuckle.
“Yeah, she has that effect on us all. She’s a lover. Watch out, you’ll be playing dress up, coloring, and letting her paint your nails in no time,” I warned him.
War nonchalantly shrugged. “Wouldn’t be the first time. When we were kids, Sari had me be her mannequin when she wanted to practice applying makeup and nail polish. I drew the line at photos taken and swore her to secrecy, though.”
His kicked-back acceptance was another point in his favor.
I noted the approval my club was broadcasting with their eyes and smiles.
Not wasting time, I introduced him to everyone.
After all the greetings were out of the way, I took them to an open table.
We had several in the common room. Taking a seat, Saranya pointed to the sign.
“That’s sweet. Who did it?”
“It was the ladies’ idea. They know how nerve-racking coming here for the first time can be,” Diablo answered.
“I admit, I was nervous, even though I’ve met everyone. I’m not sure what I expected. Dad and Mom tried to explain what it was like, but I never pictured this. We could be in a nice bar right now,” she admitted.
“This is the common room. It’s where we generally gather, hang out, and have a good time. There’s more to the clubhouse. Cowboy can show you around in a bit. You won’t be able to see all of the grounds, due to the darkness, but you can see it next time in the daytime,” Jauhnna supplied.
“So Jaycee belongs to the two of you. Who do you have in your arms?” War asked Pres and Jauhnna. They told him the names of their boys, and from there, Scorpion and Paige named off their kids.
I offered them drinks, and Boden took our orders. Some of the others added to it. It was Punk who asked what brought the three of us to the clubhouse together.
“I wanted to introduce War to all of you. I expect we’ll see him from time to time whenever he visits from Texas. As Saranya’s best friend, she’ll want him around. And since I’ll be with her, it’s a given he’ll end up here.”
“Why will she be with you?” Turbo asked.
“Because, tonight, I’d like to announce that Saranya has forgiven my bumbling stupidity and agreed to us dating. That makes her my girlfriend.” Unable to resist, I kissed her, causing my club to whistle, yell congratulations, and clap.
Her face was flushed when I reluctantly released her. My smile changed to a smirk as I saw Toretto’s mouth opening. I knew what was coming.
“Saranya, I’ve got to say, I thought you were smarter than to date a guy like Cowboy. Surely, after meeting me last time, you see I’m clearly better boyfriend material.” Toretto whined.
“Like hell he is. He’s nothing compared to me,” Micro said.
One by one, all my single brothers told her why they were a better choice. In doing so, they told her outrageous, funny lies about me. By the time they were done, everyone had laughed themselves silly. Saranya held up her hands for attention.
“Thank you all for telling me why you’re better than Cowboy. I’ve considered everything said and I’ve made a decision.” She paused for effect, then added, “My choice is Cowboy.” Boos and hisses erupted and then died down.
“Why would you do that?” Butcher asked, pretending to pout.
“Because he speaks to my heart, and as sweet as you all are, you don’t.”
The ahhs filled the room as I leaned over and kissed her again. She eagerly kissed me back.
???
The night was a great success. We had a blast. We ended up leaving and getting back to the cottage around midnight.
War had announced on the ride back that he was spending the night with Saranya’s parents so that he could see them in the morning to say goodbye.
He promised to stop by the cottage to say goodbye before he flew out.
We’d seen him off in his rental and were closing the door as we went inside.
“I think—” I cut off her words by pinning her to the wall next to the door and taking her lips.
Watching her interact with my club and seeing her dressed the way she was had been revving my engine all night.
I’d been at half-mast with an erection to fully engorged the whole time.
I knew that I had to kiss her goodnight and leave, but I needed to make sure it expressed how she made me feel.
Her comment about me touching her heart still echoed in my head.
Saranya wrapped a leg around mine, and an arm came up to twine around my shoulders.
When her fingers gripped the back of my head, pressing me harder to her, I growled.
Our lips, tongues, and teeth got in on the kiss.
Soon, we were panting. I ground my erection into her stomach.
She thrust her lower body against my throbbing erection.
Knowing I had to stop before it was too late, I tore my mouth free of hers.
Fevered eyes met my equally feverish ones. My body was on fire.
“Don’t,” she protested.
“Anya, babe, I have to. I’m too close to losing it. I need to go,” was my strangled reply.
“Go where?”
“Home, to the compound.”
“No, stay here,” she pleaded.
“Christ, I want to, but I can’t. If I do, I’ll try to coerce my way into your bed and inside of you. I promised you we’d take it slow. I’m keeping that promise.” Even if it kills me was left unspoken.
“And what if I tell you I want you to stay and that coercion isn’t necessary? That I want you in my bed tonight and inside of me.”
I moaned. “Jesus Christ, please, don’t say that.”
She pushed on my chest. I stepped away from her, though I hated to. I assumed she was letting me go. I was wrong. Instead, she reached out and cupped my burgeoning cock through my pants. She squeezed and then rubbed over it. My hips kicked forward, driving my erection into her hand. Saranya smiled.
“I’m saying it. Are you denying me? Are you walking out, leaving me hurting and empty, Zander? Will you make me go to my lonely bed and pleasure myself, while I imagine it’s you doing it? Leaving me half sated and aching for the real thing?”
Her utterances, pained face, and throbbing tone did it. I gave up the fight. “If you’re sure, then I’ll stay. Let me shed these boots, hat, and my cut, then take me to your bedroom.”
“Thank you, oh, bring the hat. I want you to wear it the first time you fuck me,” she breathed. I pictured her wearing a property cut and nothing else as I fucked her.
“Fuck, you’re gonna kill me, but I don’t care.”
