9. Eight #3

I froze. He stayed there, eyes shut, breathing through his nose.

"You want to stop?"

"No."

"Tell me."

"Give me a second."

I held him without moving him.

His body eased a little at a time. When his eyes opened again, they were dark and focused. "More."

Coyote lowered himself another inch. Then another. He stopped whenever he needed to while I kept my hands on his hips and let him control every bit of it, even when everything in me wanted to pull him down.

Halfway down, his thighs shook against my hips. I started to lift him, but Coyote slapped my hands away.

"I said I'd tell you."

"You're shaking."

"Because you're big." He put my hands back on his hips. "Hold me. Don't move me."

I set my hands where he put them and left them there.

He let out a slow breath and lowered himself again. By the time his ass settled against my thighs, his balls drew up tight against my skin, and both of us were panting.

I had never been so deep inside another person. He held me everywhere, tight and hot, his body stretched around the whole length of me.

Coyote opened his eyes. "There." His breath broke against my mouth. "All of you."

My fingers dug into his hips. "You all right?"

He hummed, pleased. "I'm full." His mouth came down close to mine. "I'm all right."

He kissed me and bit my lower lip on his way out of it. Then he lifted himself, and the drag of him nearly finished me. He sank back down and I groaned into his mouth. Coyote did it again. Each movement grew easier. Longer. He took me deeper on every drop while I lay under him and let him have it.

My hips lifted by instinct and pain bit across my ribs.

Coyote shoved me flat. "No."

"I need to move."

"You need to keep those stitches in."

"Little one."

"I said I'd do the work."

He sat upright.

The sight of him almost killed me. He had a chest pockmarked with scars: bites and burns and lines where knives and other sharp things had caught him.

A thin line of dark hair ran from his navel to his cock.

His hands spread across my stomach while my cock disappeared completely inside him and he started to ride.

He started off easy, lifting until only the head remained, then taking me back to the root. His thighs tightened around my hips. Each downward stroke pushed the breath out of both of us.

I gripped the bedroll and gritted my teeth.

Coyote smirked. "Want to grab me?"

"Yes."

"Ask."

"Let me touch you."

"Where?"

"Everywhere."

His smile was all teeth. "Start with my hips."

I closed my hands around his hips and they nearly spanned his waist. Coyote rocked harder. My thumbs pressed into the hollows beside his hip bones. I guided without controlling, following the rhythm he set.

"That's it." He came down and kissed me, filthy and off center, and said it into my lips. "Feel how much of you I can take."

"I feel it."

"Tell me."

"All of it." My voice broke. "You're taking all of me."

He shuddered and picked up the pace.

Coyote rode me harder, using my body beneath him while I fought every instinct that told me to thrust. His cock bounced against his stomach while sweat ran down his chest.

"You like being used, big man?"

"Yes."

"You like lying there while I take what I want?"

"Christ. Yes."

His hand wrapped around his cock.

I caught it. "No."

His head came up. "No?"

"Let me."

I stroked him while he rode me, and his lips fell open on a gasp. His body tightened around my cock so hard I almost came.

"Look at me," he said. "No closing your eyes."

"I won't."

"Good."

He leaned over me, one hand braced beside my head. His hair fell around our faces and shut out the rest of the cave.

"I want you to fill me," he said. "Right where you are. All of it."

He ground down hard enough that I said fuck into his hair and he laughed at me for it. "Breed me, big man."

That broke whatever I had left. I came inside him with little one caught behind my teeth. My body locked beneath him, hips straining up against his weight, and Coyote stayed seated through all of it and took every pulse.

When the last of it left me, he rolled his hips once more, and I almost sobbed.

Coyote smiled. "There you go. All mine."

He was still hard in my hand. I rolled his balls in my palm, and he cursed, so I did it again and stroked him faster. His thighs shook and his body clenched around my softening cock, dragging another helpless groan out of me.

He bent until his forehead touched mine, letting out a little whine before his cock pulsed and hot cum striped across my stomach and chest. His teeth caught my shoulder hard enough to break the skin, and he growled through the last of it.

After, he stayed where he was. My cock was still inside him, soft now, sore enough that every shift of his hips hurt in a way I wanted. His ear rested over my heart. Nothing about him was small. Teeth, knives, noise.

All of it mine.

His fingers twisted in my chest hair. "Tomorrow." His mouth moved against my chest.

"What about it?"

"I'm asking again."

I smiled into his hair. "Ask me when it gets here."

He bit my chest lightly and I closed my eyes.

I dreamed about the hospital.

Little John lay behind glass at the end of a dark hallway, an oxygen mask covering half his face. The monitor beside him screamed, and I knew I needed to get to him, but every door I opened led somewhere else.

I threw open another door on a set of stairs. Coyote stood at the bottom with blood running down his throat. I tried to reach him, but there was a thick pane of glass in the way.

Something moved behind me and I turned, swinging a big fist at whatever had been hunting me.

I came awake swinging. My fist was drawn back over Coyote's face, ready to come down full force. He lay beneath me with both hands raised between us, his body rigid, eyes open, breathing fast.

His raised hands cleared the rest of the dream out of my head.

I threw myself backward. Pain tore across my ribs, but I barely felt it. "Jesus Christ!" My back hit the cave wall. "Did I hit you?"

Coyote sat up.

"No."

"Tell me the truth."

"You didn't."

I looked at my fist. My knuckles had whitened.

"I could have."

"You stopped."

"You were scared of me." I dragged both hands over my face.

"Don't," he said. "Don't decide what I'm supposed to feel and leave before I can tell you."

My hands fell. "I need to check you."

He let me run my fingers over his face, his jaw, the side of his head. No swelling. No split skin. No blood. My hand shook against his cheek.

Coyote caught it. "You weren't seeing me," he said.

"That doesn't make it safe. It could happen again."

He shrugged. "Maybe." He shifted closer, still holding my hand. "Then next time, I wake you from where you can't reach me."

"There shouldn't be a next time."

"There will be another bad dream. Maybe not tonight. Maybe not for a year. But there'll be one. And I'll survive it. Just like I did this one." Coyote's thumb moved across my palm.

"You shouldn't have to plan around me. I don't want to hurt you."

His face held no fear. Only the hard practicality he brought to fences, wounds, and men who needed killing.

Coyote opened his knees. "Come here."

I lowered myself carefully and put my head in his lap, and he ran his fingers through my hair, petting me.

Nimue returned while we sat there. She slid over Coyote's ankle, crossed my arm, and settled against the warmth of his thigh. He barely seemed to notice her, content to keep stroking my hair until my hands stopped shaking.

After a while, Coyote stood up and reached for his jeans.

"You're leaving?"

"I'm getting food."

"You packed food."

"I want meat."

He pulled on his clothes and laced his boots. Coyote slid his knife into the sheath on his belt as I sat up.

"You don't have to run away from me."

He looked at me over his shoulder. "I'm going because I need to move, and I want to kill something small enough to cook. I'm not running from you."

I searched his face. "Where?"

"East wash. There are rabbits near the dry creek bed. I'll be back in an hour." He unclipped the radio from his belt and placed it beside my hand. "If I'm not back by then, call Sierra."

"You expect trouble?"

"No. But I promised you a direction." He tipped his head toward the trail. "Bors is tied below. He'll make noise before anything gets up here."

I picked up the radio.

Coyote leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. "Stay here, big man."

"Come back."

He held my eyes. "Always."

He wound Nimue around his neck and stepped into the afternoon.

At the mouth of the cave, he looked back once. Then he turned east, exactly as he had promised, and disappeared behind the rocks.
