Chapter 9 #2
On your knees. Those words echoed as I opened my mouth. My breath warming the fabric against my cheek as the outline of his cock hardened.
“Do what you’ve been trained to do. That’s what he said, right? What you’ve been trained.”
His husky words made no impact. Because I was someone else now. I was…her. The woman mom needed me to be.
Keep our secret, Angel. Whatever happens. Keep our secret. The hard metal edge of his zipper pressed against my mouth. I gripped the tongue and dragged it all the way down. A low, desperate sound echoed in his belly and spread outwards and a tremble followed. He was hard, so very hard.
Open your mouth.
The man in my head commanded. I did, leaving my tongue to lick against the warmth, leaving a slick trail against his skin as he finally sprang free.
“That’s it, show us what a whore really does.” Silas growled.
He wanted to hurt me, to punish me. I looked up and opened my mouth wider, hovering over the head of his cock. A clear bead welled in the eye, desperate to be licked. But the second I moved so did he, grabbing me around the throat.
“Stop this!” Gabe roared. “Stop this now!
“You…fucking disgust me.” Silas hissed, then shoved me backwards.
I hit the ground hard and lay there. The impact was brutal, agony tore through my thigh, shattering that grip over my mind. As I lifted my gaze that sickening wave of horror plunged deep inside. Silas stood in front of me, his hard cock encased in his fist and I knew…
It’s happened again.
Oh, Jesus…it’s happened again.
They all stared, even Gabe. But he didn’t see me…only her. Disgust flickered in his eyes, before he looked away.
“No.” The cry burned as I shoved forward, desperately reaching for the only ally I had left in this house. But he wouldn’t look at me.
Silas fought his body, trying to shove his cock back inside his zipper, but it wouldn’t stay, springing free, desperate to be taken care of…
“You’re nothing but a whore, aren’t you?” Theo snarled. “You and our mother. Did you think we wouldn’t find out? Did you think you could get away with it?”
“That’s why he killed her, isn’t it?” Jude asked. “Because she was having an affair.”
“NO!” The scream tore from me, burning deeper now, carving all the way into the pit of my belly. Rage and desperation erupted. “ She wasn’t having an affair.”
“Then TELL US!” Theo strode forward until he stood over me. “Tell us what happened!”
“I DON’T KNOW!” I fisted my hands as desperation filled me. “I don’t know, don’t you get that? I don’t remember! I don’t remember anything!”
“Why should we believe you?” He stared down at me.
I’d never felt so pathetically low. “I…don’t know.” I sobbed. “I just don’t know.”
“That’s enough.” Lincoln demanded, his tone thick and husky. “Go to your room, Angel. You’re to stay there, do you understand?”
“You try to run and we’ll catch you.” Silas added. “So you can put your things back.”
“I’ll have a man stationed outside her door.” Lincoln grabbed his cell.
“The Hell you will.” Silas yanked his zipper up and turned to face him. “She is our problem. We will be the one to stand guard.”
Lincoln shook his head. “But…”
Silas strode forward, facing his uncle. “We don’t really need you here. This…” He glanced over his shoulder at me. “Has no bearing on the business, so it doesn’t involve you.”
“Dante was my goddamn brother.” Lincoln snarled.
“One, you decided to walk out on.” Silas responded and glanced at Theo, then Jude.
They both moved, Theo first, turning on his uncle…then Jude.
“It’s a family issue moving forward.” Silas sided with his brothers. “We’ll handle it.”
Lincoln clenched his jaw, the muscles bulging as he held Silas’s glare. “You’re making a big mistake.”
“Then I guess we’ll find out. Goodnight uncle, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
One desperate glance my way and Lincoln slowly shook his head. My arms trembled, leaving me to push upwards. He knew now. He knew what I did…and what they did to me.
But as he stood there a new fear pushed in. He was the only one who could get me out of here. The only one standing in the way of my brothers…and me.
“Good luck, sweetheart. I think you’re going to need it” He said to me, before he turned to the others, fixing his stare on Gabe. “You know where to find me.” Then he left, striding out of the den…and headed along the hallway.
“You heard me.” Silas turned on me. “Your room. You even make a goddamn peep and I’ll make you regret it.”
I scurried forward, skimming my back along the wall and raced out of there. I couldn’t run fast enough, plunging along the hallway and yanked open my bedroom door and threw myself inside. The flimsy lock was useless. Still I slammed the door closed and in the dark, leaned against it.
Oh, God…
Oh. GOD.
But I knew it wasn’t over. They’d never stop, not now they knew what happened in that place. Still, they didn’t know it all…not yet. I closed my eyes as a shudder tore through me. It was fear that waited…fear and the whisper of my mom’s voice. Promise me, Angel. Promise me they’ll never know.
I opened my eyes and stared into the dark. I had to find a way to get out of here. If I didn't, my days in this house would be terrifying.
