Chapter 28

Augusto

Waking up, the first thing I become aware of is my cock aching for release as I realize I fell asleep buried inside Yuki.

The moment I pull back, a groan rumbles from me as intense pleasure and relief make me even harder.

“Fuck.”

“Hmm…?”

Noticing Yuki is still asleep strips me of any control I thought I had. My hips begin to move, and as I fuck my sleeping wife, I’m inundated with waves of ecstasy.

Her drenched pussy clenches around my cock as she begins to wake, making me pound even harder into her.

Jesus, I love how wet she gets for me.

“Augusto,” she moans, her hands finding my ass and clawing the fuck out of my skin. “YesYesYes.”

There’s so much pleasure that it feels like I’m already coming. Pulling out of her, I hurry to flip Yuki onto her hands and knees, and lifting her ass into the air, I slam back inside her. I grab a fistful of her hair and fuck her like my life depends on it.

Yuki yells something in Japanese as her orgasm hits, and it has me coming so fucking hard, my vision goes black, and a roar tears free from my chest.

I lose all my strength as a wave of powerful pleasure rolls through me, and I fall on top of my wife.

For long minutes, our rushed breaths are the only sound in the room, and when I’m finally able to roll off her, I say, “From now on, I’m sleeping with my cock buried inside you. That was fucking mind-blowing.”

“Uh-huh,” she mumbles as she turns her head to look at me. Her post-orgasmic glow tells me I’ve fucked her thoroughly. “Best way ever to wake up.”

“Right?” I move onto my side and press a kiss to her forehead. “Once I’ve taken care of things in Tokyo, I’m taking a couple of weeks off. Is there anything you’d like to do during the vacation?”

A happy smile forms on her face. “As long as I get to spend as much time with you as possible, I don’t care.” She snuggles against my chest, letting out a satisfied sigh. “We can stay in bed, and you can teach me all the ways you like to fuck.”

Even though I just came fucking hard, my cock jerks from her words. “We need to shower and get ready for the day. Don’t say fuck again, or Ryo’s going to Tokyo by himself.”

Chuckling, she pulls away from me and climbs off the bed. When I see my cum and her arousal on her inner thighs, my cock grows semi-hard.

I get up, and following her sexy ass to the shower, I reluctantly get ready for the day.

I need to handle shit with the Yakuza as quickly as possible so I can get back to my little shapeshifter.

“Will you be okay being alone here at home while I’m gone?” I ask. “You’ll have twenty guards here to protect you.”

“So many!” she gasps, her eyes going wide as she rubs her hands over her skin.

My eyes track her movements as I grow even harder. Showering with her was not a good idea.

“I’m not risking anything happening to you while I’m gone,” I murmur, while I soap up my cock and rinse off the suds.

Yuki’s gaze lowers to my pelvis, and seeing how hard I am, my wife kneels in front of me and proceeds to rock my world until I come down her throat.

As she climbs to her feet again, she says, “Yes, I’ll be fine alone. Besides, Samantha, Bianca, and Sienna are coming over later today, and I’m sure they’ll spend a lot of time with me while you’re gone.

Feeling better knowing my mother and sisters will check in on her, my mind turns to work.

Yuki

Saying goodbye to Augusto and Ryo was very difficult, but I know they have to take down Father.

Sitting in the kitchen, I stare at the beautiful tea set Augusto got for me before we were married. Feeling worried for their safety, I can’t stop thinking about everything that could go wrong.

“Yuki?” I hear Samantha call, and jumping up from the stool, I rush into the foyer.

Having used the back entrance, she comes out of the living room and smiles when she sees me.

I rush to her, and she quickly wraps me up in a warm hug. “Oh, sweetie. Everything is going to be okay. Try not to worry too much.”

“It’s so hard. What if–”

“No what ifs. You’ll drive yourself insane.” She pushes me back and gives me an encouraging smile. “We’re going to keep busy while Augusto is gone. Come. Let’s get coffee, and then you can tell me about Ryo and show me your pottery hobby.”

As she begins to walk toward the kitchen, I admit, “I never knew my mother.” Samantha stops and turns to look at me, but before she can reply, I continue, “You’re the best mother I’ve ever known and such a good friend to me.

” Completely overwhelmed by all the big things that have been happening in my life, I rush into her arms again and sob, “Thank you for being such an amazing person and accepting me into the family.”

“You’re so very welcome, my sweet girl, and I’d love it if you called me Mom. That’s if you’re comfortable with it.”

I nod fast, and looking at her, I grin while wiping the tears from my face. “I’d really like that.”

Keeping her arm wrapped around my shoulders as we walk to the kitchen, she says, “Let’s get our daily dose of caffeine, then you can tell me all about your brother.”

While I fix us each a mug of coffee, Mom looks at the flower arrangement. “This is stunning, Yuki. Which florist did you buy it from?”

“I made it myself.” Loving the attention she’s giving me, I quickly begin to feel better. “Would you like me to make you one?”

“Does a bear shit in the woods?” she gasps.

Not understanding what she’s saying, I give her a confused look. “Huh?”

“Yes! Oh my God, I’d pay good money for it.”

As I set her mug down in front of her and take a seat, I grin happily. “I’ll make you one today. What kind of flowers do you like?”

She gives me a list, and I place an urgent order online. When it’s confirmed the flowers will be delivered before five this afternoon, I ask, “Will you be able to stay for dinner? Otherwise, I can give you the arrangement tomorrow.”

“I’ll tell Franco to come over, and we can spend the evening with you.”

I drink some of my coffee while she sends him a message, and as soon as she sets her phone down on the island, she reminds me, “Tell me about Ryo.”

“It was such a shock. It was so good to see him and catch up. I used to write letters I couldn’t send to Ryo and finally got to give them to him.” I take a deep breath before I continue, “I’m still processing all the emotions. So much has happened.”

Mom soothingly rubs my arm. “I can only imagine. If you ever need to talk, I’m here.”

“I’m just trying to get used to everything. It’s all good things, and I just feel a little overwhelmed. Having you over is already helping so much.”

Her phone beeps and she checks the incoming message, then says, “Franco and the girls are on their way.”

“Should we take something out of the freezer?” I ask as I get up to check what our options are.

“Do you have steaks or burgers? Franco can throw some on the grill for us, and we can fix a salad to go with it.”

Opening the door, I take out all the steaks and burger patties, and seeing there’s enough for a small army, I check what vegetables we have. “What kind of salad?”

“Potato. It’s Franco’s favorite.”

I leave the meat out so it can thaw, and as I drink the last of my coffee, I mention, “I think I should arrange the gathering for all the women during one of the poker nights?”

“That sounds good. Us girls can sit outside, and we can set up tables in the foyer for the men.”

“What do I need to do for the men?”

“Not much. Make sure there’s enough whiskey and snacks like chips and nuts.”

“That’s easy enough.”

Mom gets up and places our empty mugs by the sink, then says, “Show me your pottery.”

We head outside, and I gesture to the wall where all my pots are lined up.

“Jesus, Yuki!” Mom gasps. “You made these?”

I soak up her response to my art, pride and warmth flooding my chest. “You can take a couple.”

“If you don’t stop me, I’ll steal them all.” She picks up a round-bellied pot that’s decorated in earthy colors. “God, I have one hell of a talented daughter-in-law.”

We hear a car coming up the driveway, and I turn to watch Mr. Vitale park the SUV. I walk closer, and after hugging Bianca and Sienna, I hang back with Mr. Vitale as they walk to where Mom is still admiring my clay pots.

“How were things after I left?” Mr. Vitale asks.

“It was tense, but eventually it got better.” I meet his eyes, then say, “Thank you for helping me yesterday.”

He rubs my shoulder, smiling at me. “You’re welcome.”

Feeling awkward, I begin to fidget while my eyebrows draw together.

Mr. Vitale tilts his head, concern flashing over his face. “What’s wrong?”

“Is it okay if I call you Dad?”

A smile spreads over his face again, and wrapping his arm around my shoulders, he gives me a sideways hug. “Of course it is. You didn’t need to ask.”

Relief eases the awkwardness in my chest, and as we walk toward the other women, I murmur, “You raised an amazing son.”

“I know.” He brushes his hand over my back in a comforting way. “Thank you for making him happy.”

I let out a chuckle. “He’s the one doing most of the work.”

Augusto

After we landed in Tokyo, Ryo took us to the monastery where he was trained.

As we walk past the temple to the rooms we’ll be staying in, the air feels weirdly peaceful considering we’re here to go to war with Tanaka.

All the buildings are made of dark wood, and the surrounding nature and trees are green, lending to the serene ambiance.

“You trained here?” I ask Ryo as we stop in the doorway of a room that only has a low coffee table and two mats.

“Shoes off,” he mumbles while taking his off. “Yes. I trained behind the temple.”

While I crouch to remove my boots, I watch as my men are taken to other rooms where they’ll sleep.

Lorenzo, however, comes toward me. Being overprotective, he refuses to leave me alone with Ryo.

“What are you doing?” he asks.

“Take off your shoes,” I tell him. “It’s their culture.”

I’ve been doing some research on all things Japanese so I can incorporate the important things into Yuki’s homelife. I don’t want her to change everything about herself to fit in with me.

When we enter the room, Ryo gestures to a mat. We sit by the table, and it feels like I have to fold myself in half to sit by the table.

He takes a seat across from me, looking comfortable. “I want to attack tonight.”

“I heard you the first time,” I grumble. “But we’re not doing shit until you tell me where your father lives. I want to send out scouts to survey the area. I’m not letting my men walk into a trap.”

Ryo gives me the address, and I open my Maps app on my phone to see where it is. Sending the location to Lorenzo, I say, “Tell Santi and John to check out the address.”

Still refusing to leave me alone, he moves to the doorway to make the call.

I turn my attention back to my brother-in-law and see a nervous expression flash over his face.

He’s only two years older than Yuki. I have years of experience on him, but I remember how daunting it was when I took over from Dad.

“You’re going to be fine. Fake it until you make it,” I give him the same advice I received.

He nods. “I’m worried that after I kill my father, the men will refuse to follow me.”

“They won’t have a choice.” My tone is low and deadly. “Either they kneel to you, or I kill them.”

“You’ll only be here a few days.”

“And I’ll make it clear, if something happens to you, I’ll come back and wipe them out. The deal is with you, Ryo, not the Yakuza.”

For the first time, his eyes fill with respect as he looks at me. “I know you’re only doing it for Yuki, but thank you.”

Knowing how difficult it must be for him to say the words, I nod. “You’re my brother-in-law. It will look bad for me if you die.” My eyes narrow on him. “And the same goes for you. In our world, family comes before everything else.”

“Santi and John just left with his friend,” Lorenzo says while gesturing at Ryo.

“His name is Takeru,” Ryo mutters.

“What’s the deal with Takeru?” I ask.

“He trained me how to fight and will be by my side when I take over the Yakuza.”

I let out a chuckle. “I thought monks were peaceful people.”

“They are. Takeru will guide me so I don’t get lost in all the greed and violence.”

Nodding, I glance around the empty space. “Do you have something against furniture?”

“Material things are impermanent and cannot provide true happiness.”

“I beg to differ,” I reply. “But to each their own.”

A monk brings us tea, and after trying a sip of the bitter liquid, I set it aside. I wait for Ryo to finish drinking his, then climb to my feet. “Show me where you trained while we wait.”

After we put on our shoes, he takes me around back, and when I see the makeshift training equipment, I ask, “You said Takeru trained you?”

“Yes.”

“He must be a good teacher.” My eyes flick to Ryo. “Your fighting skills are excellent.”

“Want to spar to kill some time?”

A grin spreads over my face as I remove my gun. I hand the weapon to Lorenzo before I roll my shoulders to loosen my muscles.

“Let’s do this, brother,” Ryo says as he swiftly bounces from one foot to another.

The second he attacks, I match his moves, and as we beat the fuck out of each other, it feels as if we’re actually bonding.

By the time we stop to catch our breaths, I let chuckle, “Don’t tell Yuki. She’ll kick both our assess.”

“My lips are sealed.” Ryo lies down on the ground, gasping for air. “Good fight.”

I glance at the bamboo forest behind the monastery, letting the calming atmosphere wash over me.

“Why didn’t you try to contact Yuki sooner?” I ask the million-dollar question.

Ryo climbs to his feet. “I didn’t know where they kept her. I knew the sooner I got done with training so I could join my father, the sooner I’d be able to get information on her.”

Nodding, I let out a sigh. “What that bastard did to you and Yuki is fucked up.”

“That’s why he’s going to die today.”

My eyes lock with Ryo’s. “Are you sure you have it in you to kill your father?”

He doesn’t hesitate to nod. “I’ve been dreaming about this day for over a decade. I’ve never been more sure about anything in my life.”

“Just remember,” I growl. “Yutaro Kano is mine.”
