Chapter 14 Pleasure #2

His hands roamed her shoulders, sliding down her sides, pressing her closer as he alternated between soft, teasing licks and more demanding, hungry kisses.

He traced the curve of her neckline with methodical precision, running the tip of his tongue along every hollow, every dip, mapping her skin as though memorizing it.

When he found a spot that made her shiver, he lingered, sucking, licking, dragging his tongue slowly around the area until the mark darkened and the skin tingled under his mouth.

He moved in patterns, over and over—up the side of her throat, down the center of her collarbone, across the hollow where her pulse fluttered, around the edges of each mark he left. Each time he paused to look at what he had done, his eyes darkened, and the desire twisted sharper.

He couldn’t stop; he wanted to cover her, claim her completely.

All through the night, he kept licking, sucking, nipping, following the rhythm of her breath.

His tongue explored every curve, every tender patch of skin, pressing marks as he went.

He murmured her name against her neck, low and rough, the sound vibrating through her chest as he trailed another line of kisses down her collarbone.

By morning, her neck and shoulders were a map of his obsession, each mark a proof to his desperate, feral need.

In the haze of pleasure, Mia breathed unevenly, her body arching as her skin tingled with pleasure.

Alexander hovered over her, his breath warm and heavy against her ear as his mouth trailed down her neckline.

His lips brushed her skin—slow, teasing strokes that made her tremble.

Then he moved up again, his mouth tracing the same path before descending once more, this time pressing deeper, his teeth gently grazing.

A soft gasp escaped her lips as his hand slid down, pinching lightly at her breasts before gliding lower again, his touch burning through her skin.

Her fingers clutched the sheets, her body tightening as his mouth returned to her throat, licking over the sensitive curve of her neck.

Everything felt so real, so intense, that she could hardly breathe.

The pleasure built inside her like a tightening string, so unbearable that her body arched before suddenly—her eyes flew open.

Mia gasped, chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath. The room was silent except for the faint ticking of the clock. She blinked several times, realizing she was alone in the bed. Alexander was nowhere in sight.

Her heart was still racing, her body warm and flushed. “What was that?” she whispered under her breath, pressing her palm to her heated face. ‘How can I have such a shameful dream?’

She pressed her thighs together, feeling the lingering heat between them, and shook her head quickly. “Oh my God,” she muttered, covering her face for a second.

Slipping out of bed, Mia quietly padded across the room toward the bathroom.

The floor was cool beneath her feet as she pushed open the door and stepped into the massive marble-floored bathroom.

The morning light streamed in through the frosted glass window, painting the white walls with a soft glow.

She walked to the mirror and turned on the tap, splashing cold water on her face to calm herself. Droplets clung to her lashes as she leaned closer to the mirror, reaching for her toothbrush. After brushing her teeth, she finally looked up, and froze.

Her reflection stared back at her with wide eyes. Across her neck, faint red marks dotted her pale skin. She gasped, leaning closer. There were so many of them—along her throat, down to her collarbone.

Mia moved closer until her breath fogged the glass. “What…” Her fingers went up to touch them.

There were so many.

Panicking, she quickly grabbed a towel and dabbed her neck, hoping it would fade, but the marks stayed.

Without another thought, she tossed the towel aside, pushed open the bathroom door and hurried out of the bedroom.

The hem of her nightdress fluttered against her knees as she raced down the stairs, her footsteps echoing in the quiet house.

Her breath came fast as her eyes darted around the living room—until they finally landed on Alexander, seated calmly at the dining table.

He was seated with a cup of coffee in one hand and a few open files spread before him, looking freshly composed and effortlessly elegant. His shirt sleeves were rolled up, revealing the veins on his forearms, and his watch glinted under the morning light.

At the sound of her hurried footsteps, Alexander immediately looked up. His sharp eyes softened as he smiled faintly, closing the file and setting it aside.

“You’re awake,” he said in that deep, calm tone of his, turning his chair toward her as he reached out a hand.

Without thinking, she slipped her hand into his. He gave a gentle tug, clearly intending to pull her onto his lap. But Mia quickly reached for the nearest chair instead, pulling it out and sitting down beside him.

Alexander frowned slightly, a look of disappointment flickering in his expression, but he didn’t say anything. Instead, he leaned toward her to get closer to her.

Still holding his hand, she pointed at her neck with the other. “Look,” she said, lifting her chin.

His eyes followed where she pointed and instantly, his relaxed demeanor stiffened. His expression flickered—nervous, alert—but before he could speak, Mia continued quickly.

“I think I’m allergic to the bedsheets in your bedroom,” she said seriously, brows furrowed.

“I’ve slept in my own room before, but never had anything like this!

After just one night in your room, I look like this.

” She frowned, concern etched on her face.

“The fabric must be bad. You should get it changed before you end up like me.”

Across the table, Anita, who had been quietly standing by to serve breakfast, nearly choked trying to hold back her laughter.

She turned her face away, covering her mouth as she whispered, “That look again… I know it too well. He’s had the same guilty face since he was a little boy—every time he did something he shouldn’t have. ”

Hearing Mia’s words, Alexander’s shoulders eased slightly, a hint of amusement tugging at his lips as he answered, “It’s alright. I’ll put some ointment on it. It’ll heal soon.”

He reached out and softly brushed the back of her hand with his thumb, his gaze dipping to meet hers. “Does it hurt?”

“It doesn’t,” Mia answered, shaking her head lightly.

Alexander nodded once and glanced toward Anita, who immediately understood his silent cue. She turned and walked to the kitchen, quickly returning with a small tube of ointment and a clean napkin. Placing them on the table in front of him, she stepped back quietly.

Alexander took a small amount of ointment on his fingertips and leaned closer. His fingers moved gently over Mia’s neck, tracing each red mark with tenderness. The faint scent of the ointment mixed with her perfume, and as his fingers brushed her soft skin, his heartbeat grew heavier in his chest.

His fingers trembled slightly from the overwhelming warmth spreading inside him. ‘My Mia even lets me touch her now,’ he thought to himself, his gaze tender and filled with quiet happiness.

Mia sat obediently in front of him, her hands resting neatly on her lap. One of her small hands still held his other hand loosely between hers. She stayed perfectly still while he treated her, almost like a well-behaved student following her teacher’s instructions. The sight made his smile deepen.

When he finally finished, Alexander set the tube aside, his eyes lingering on her face for a second longer than necessary. He could barely hide the satisfaction glimmering in his expression.

A while later, Alexander left for his office, his usual composed aura returning as he stepped out of the house.

The mansion grew quiet again, sunlight streaming softly through the wide windows. Mia sat alone at the dining table for a while, lost in thought. Her fingers toyed with the phone in her hand, hesitation flickering in her eyes.

After a long moment, she finally unlocked the screen and dialed a familiar number. Her pulse quickened as the ringing tone filled the silence.

It took several rings before the line finally connected.
