CREED

I drop my bag on the floor and sigh, taking in my room.

I’m one of the few lucky fuckers that’s got one of the original bedrooms with a lock to keep everyone else out, but the thin layer of dust on the nightstands, the untouched ruffled sheets, and abandoned jeans don’t give me a great welcome.

I rarely stay here, usually only a day or two before rides if I’m on the outs with Bri.

Wincing, I rub a hand down my face. I gotta handle Bri. I know I do, but that’s another problem for another fucking day. An on-again-off-again ex is not at the top of my priorities.

A knock on my door draws me from my thoughts, and I open it to Daisy’s smiling face. It makes me want to groan. Almost every clubwhore has tried to stop me since I arrived in the bar and then the clubhouse.

I get it. I’m usually a horny bastard when I get home from a trip, but my dick hasn’t twitched once.

Oh fuck. Maybe I’m broken.

No.

I ain’t broken. I can’t be broken by a pig.

She holds up a pile of sheets, shaking them in my face when I don’t say anything. “Lacey told me to bring you some clean ones. Figured you’d need them.”

I smile back, letting her in and shutting the door behind her. Daisy doesn’t think twice about setting them on my dresser and then moving to my bed to strip it.

I’m not broken. I can fuck anyone I want.

I catch her elbow, and she looks up at me with an excited gleam. “Want something else first?” she asks, biting down on her lip as her fingers play with my belt.

My cock twitches.

She’s not who I want, but I’ll be damned before I become celibate over a cop.

Ever since I left the bar in Arizona, the ache inside me has grown. There’s no telling if I can ever have her again, even if she’s the only one on my mind.

But Daisy…she's easy, one of the better club girls. Some of them try to get possessive of the brothers, as if we’re going to wake up one day and claim them. She’s never been like that. She breezes through the clubhouse, fucking whoever she wants, and focuses on her school the rest of the time.

“I think I need your mouth,” I admit reluctantly.

It doesn’t hurt to try, to attempt to ease this want low in my belly. It’s better than hunting down Morgan and fucking her in the back seat of her patrol car.

She smiles, falling to her knees and undoing my belt. I let out a sigh as she pulls my cock out of my tight boxers, stroking me harder as I tilt my head back.

It’s not Daisy on her knees before me, it’s the bombshell I fucked in the Sinners’ bathroom. My fingers tangle through dark hair as a warm mouth encases my tip, running their tongue over the vein that runs under my length.

My stomach clenches, wishing I really knew what it felt like to have those puffy pink lips wrapped around my cock, those startling blue eyes staring up at me.

I thrust forward, pushing myself deeper into the heat of her mouth.

They suck me harder, and my fingers tighten, guiding them up and down my thick, hard cock.

I would usually fuck them a little bit harder, shove myself down their throat, but this isn’t Daisy.

It’s Morgan, my little cop princess, the woman who hesitated when I asked her to spit on my palm. It told me that she’s not as experienced as she fronted to be, and that’s okay with me. I love molding a woman into what I want for both of our pleasure.

Nothing gets me off more than a chick enjoying herself. There’s something about a woman writhing from overwhelming need that makes my cock harder than steel.

I tighten my hands on her hair, pushing her mouth farther onto my cock, and I thrust forward. My tip bumps down her throat and she swallows, the tight muscles squeezing me.

I grunt, picking up my pace and her throat relaxes, taking my plundering with ease.

My balls draw up and fire licks up my back.

Then I let go. I come hard, imagining the feisty smokeshow I fucked at the bar, but with her cop uniform thrown open.

Bottoms ripped off, bra pushed down to show off her perky breasts.

I blow out an unsteady breath as the last drops of my cum pulsate out, and I look down at Daisy as she continues to suck at my hard cock before I slip out of her mouth.

Her eyes flash up to me, a questioning look, and flickers to the bed. I don’t say anything because I’m torn. She’s not who I want to fuck. A blowjob is one thing, but to push into her cunt while I’m thinking of someone else? It makes me feel like a fucking dick.

She stands, wiping her mouth. Whatever she sees on my face, she raises an eyebrow and doesn’t question me further. Instead, she looks over at the bed and the half-off sheets. “Want me to finish changing them before I go?”

I shake my head, stripping the rest off the mattress and handing them to her. More than thankful she’s not asking me to return the favor. I'm not one to leave a woman unsatisfied, but fuck if I want to be alone. The blowjob didn’t give me any relief.

“Nah, I’m a big boy. I can handle it,” I tell her.

She takes the sheets with a wink. “It’s good you’re home. We’ve missed you.”

I laugh softly. “Yeah, I never stray too far from home. This is where I always land.”

She shrugs. “Maybe we can keep you longer this time. Gage is settled. It’s looking like Dodge will be next. Who knows, maybe you’ll find someone.”

Daisy leaves with another one of her flirty winks, and I sit on the edge of my bed before collapsing onto the mattress. I guess it should say something that she didn’t even consider Bri as someone to settle down with.

The problem is that the only woman I’m interested in may be even more unattainable than my flighty ex. I don’t get long to sit in my tortured thoughts.

“Hey dick!” Viper bangs on my door. I’d know that voice anywhere.

I open it, pushing my increasingly disturbing feelings away, and nod at him.

“Gotta do some shit. Need a day, or ready to help with your job?”

I chuckle at him, used to his grumpy ass. The only one who has ever managed to soften him up is Mik, and that’s because her mind is devious. “Can you gimme five to wash off?”

His nose wrinkles.

I shove him out my doorway. “Wash off the road, dickwad. Don’t be a hypocrite anyway. I can smell Lacey’s lotion on you.”

He grins just as I slam the door and take a quick shower.

* * *

“Fuck this junk. Piece of shit.”

I snort at Viper’s bitching, leaning against the wall next to the ladder he’s straddling. “Want me to take over?”

“I want you to shut the fuck up,” he snaps back, tossing the camera’s box toward me. I catch it and chuck in the trash, glancing around the restaurant and the empty street through the windows.

“These the new ones Cowen wanted us to swap out?” I ask.

Viper grunts. “Yeah, something about clarity. Whatever the princess wants.”

“And in all the businesses?”

The ladder clinks and clatter as he climbs down, and gives me an annoyed look. “Yeah, all of them. Got somewhere to be?”

I shake my head, a smirk lifting on my lips. “Nope. Do you? You’re a little more grumpy than usual.”

“Got my ass chewed out the other day. Mik slipped my watch. Shaw acts like we didn’t lose Mik for half her teenage years. You think a baby’s slowing her down? Delusional.”

Laughing, I pick up another camera box as Viper carries the ladder across the restaurant so we can get to the back alley.

Mik is our prez’s old lady, who just so happens to also be in a relationship with our old prez too. I don’t know how Gage and Shaw do it, but it works for them. We don’t think about it too hard.

Hell, the rest of us share the women of the club constantly. She also has a spirit that keeps us all on our toes.

“They’re just protective because of the baby, especially with Dillion being a newborn and all that.”

Viper throws me an annoyed look. “No shit, but I’m the enforcer. If I can’t keep an eye on her, who will?”

“What about a prospect? Fox has been solid. He can shadow both of us when you’re with Mik.”

He shrugs. “Maybe. There’s something going on that’s making us all uneasy. I get why Gage wouldn’t want a prospect. Don’t be surprised if Dodge puts you on Autumn.”

And I wouldn’t be. He seems obsessed with his nanny, from the brief glance I got at the bar. Dodge is already really protective of his daughter, I can only imagine how bad it is when there’s two of them he needs to protect.

“You think those fucks are going to cause more trouble?”

Viper shrugs. “I mean, Dodge’s cousin was into shady shit last year when we killed him. Cowen doesn’t share all the details, but I know it isn’t good when Gage is keeping Mik contained in their house or the club.”

Jack was a piece of shit, and I’m glad we got rid of him. It was coming well before that, and I don’t miss the asshole.

“Plus, since we stopped running and legitimized most of the businesses, those tiny dick council members have been trying to get us kicked out,” I add.

As much as I love our clubhouse and the town most of us grew up in, I’d love a day where we don’t have to look over our shoulders, to know that someone isn’t going to try to arrest us for stupid shit, or try to get the businesses put under for bullshit.

Viper sighs, climbing down the ladder and then staring at me. “It would help if you stuck around.”

I bristle, not liking the accusation before taking a deep breath. “Maybe I plan to this time.”

He snorts, gathering up all the empty boxes on the tables.

“You say that, then disappear into the night. Look, I ain’t one to complain, but besides Fox and Steel, most of the prospects ain’t shaping up to be much.

Reaper comes into town less and less, and I’m running thin with Dodge and Gage busy with their kids.

Most of the old guard has disappeared as well.

Shaw doesn’t leave Mik’s side, Bear hasn’t been seen in weeks, and the rest of the fuckers drink themselves useless everyday.

Razer has tried to help, but he runs back home every time his old lady has a fucking broken nail. ”

I raise my eyebrows, surprised by Viper’s bitching. He’s not one to complain, and I have a feeling that he’s more worried than he’s letting on.

“Alright, man. It’s not a problem. I’ll stay in town as long as you need me.”

He nods, not saying anything else, and I follow him into the back of the restaurant as we clean up the mess before he finally breaks the silence.

“I haven’t told Gage, but I drove up to the closest building those fuckers bought up. They had men stationed at the entrance, men with the type of guns that shouldn’t be carried in broad daylight.”

I curse. “What you thinking? Mafia, maybe? We still have a large stash put away, but not like the arsenal we used to carry.”

He shakes his head. “I don’t know, but I think we’re sitting ducks if we don’t start treating them like the enemy they obviously are. I ain’t telling Gage how to do his job, but I think we might look a little weak to others since we ain’t running anymore.”

“And Gage doesn’t want to fall back into old ways after all of Shaw’s work to get us here,” I say, rubbing my hand down my face.

“Yup. Let me know how we protect the club without undermining our prez’s decisions.”

I scowl at his sarcasm, but nod anyway. I already planned on staying in town. My curiosity about Morgan is drawing my interest more than the road, but the club is my life, and I’d die for it.
