Chapter 10 Tristan

Tristan

The yarn was soft against my skin as I sat on the couch, bringing my next creation to life. Usually, my mind was quiet while I crocheted, but this time, my thoughts were consumed by my Daddy.

My Daddy. I had a Daddy!

He was amazing. I’d woken up after our date feeling the best I’d ever felt.

I knew Daniel wouldn’t make fun of me, but I didn’t expect to see the heat in his gaze as he looked at me and his deliciously filthy words.

I almost didn’t believe it. Every time the doubt began to creep up, my skin tingled at the memory of his heated touch.

Usually, I was so nervous, but his constant reassurance and praise had quickly erased all doubt, leaving a burning desire in their wake.

He was the first person other than Ellery that I told about Bun Bun, and I worried it would be too much for him.

He surprised me again with his open acceptance and even encouraged it.

My dirty Daddy loved watching me feed Bun Bun and even put him in the wash for me before he left.

He was turning out to be the best Daddy ever.

It had been five days since our date, and I had already missed him like crazy. He always made time to text and to check in to make sure I was okay and taking care of myself. He was such a Daddy… I loved it.

Our nightly phone calls had quickly become my favorite part of the day.

Every night, he called me at eight o’clock and would talk to me as I got ready for bed.

When I was done with my routine, he’d tell me a story until sleep claimed me.

I slept more deeply and woke up more energized than I ever thought possible.

Having a Daddy was turning out to be the best thing that had ever happened to me.

I picked up my phone, making sure I hadn’t missed any texts from Daddy. I had about an hour until he was supposed to pick me up for our playdate. If things went well, the plan was for me to spend the night and have a whole little weekend with my Daddy.

After breakfast that morning, I decided to crochet to calm my nerves. While I had briefly slipped into little space after our dinner, I wasn’t little, just submissive little. Today would be the first time he saw me fully submerged in my little headspace.

My body jerked in surprise as Ellery plopped down next to me on the couch. They might like to play as a pretty princess, but I was sure they were secretly a ninja. I never understood how someone so loud and bubbly could sneak up on me so often.

“Oh, I love that color! Whatcha making?”

I couldn’t help but giggle. “Of course, you like the color, it’s purple!

I called Zeke yesterday to get suggestions on how to expand our business.

He thought it would be a good idea to set up a separate website where I can sell PDF copies of my patterns to other people who want to make the items themselves. ”

“Oh, that’s an awesome Idea.”

“Right! So I’m making this new dinosaur pattern to launch the site; it’ll take some time to get it formatted, but it should be a quick and easy way to make some extra business.”

Zeke worked in marketing and web design, helping small businesses establish their online presence.

We had stumbled across him online when we were desperate for help getting our website off the ground.

From the moment we started working together a few years ago, he had been more than just a brilliant consultant—he had become a true friend.

Back then, Ellery and I shared a single site for all our creations, but it leaned heavily toward littles. Zeke had suggested a separate site for patterns, which would allow me to reach a wider audience. It was such a simple idea, but it changed everything.

“A purple dinosaur that sounds so cute! You should give him green spikes.”

“Ooo purple and green, that’s cu-”

A knock sounded at the door. That must be Daddy! I looked down at my project and frowned. Ellery stood from the couch and chuckled. “Don’t worry, I’ll go let your Daddy in. Finish that row, I know it’ll drive you crazy if you don’t.”

I sighed in relief; they knew me so well. “Thanks, Ellery.”

As I finished the last few stitches, I listened as Ellery let Daddy inside. “Hey, Daniel! Tristan’s in the living room finishing the row he’s working on. He hates stopping in the middle of one, but he’s fast, so it shouldn’t take very long.”

“Hello, Ellery, it’s good to see you again.”

“Same. I’m so glad you’re here. He’s been pouting nonstop, waiting till he could see you again.

“Hey. I did not pout.” I shouted as I finished my last stitch.

Ellery entered the living room with his hands defiantly on his hips as Daniel followed behind him.

“You did too.”

“Hmpf.” I stuck my tongue out at him as Daddy walked over to me and brushed my curls out of my face to place a soft kiss on my forehead.

“Hey, sweetheart. I missed you too… I’m sorry I had a lot of work to catch up on this week after the fair, but I promise we’ll see each other more often. Okay?”

My cheeks hurt from smiling as I looked up at him. “It’s okay, I know you’ve been busy, and I had some catch-up of my own to do, so it worked out.”

“Thank you, sweetie. I was wondering if it was okay with you if I ask Ellery for their number so they can contact me if they need anything while you’re little.”

I was already falling harder and faster than I thought possible, but the care he showed not only for me but for Ellery as well made me feel like I was falling down the cliff at breakneck speed.

“That’s perfectly fine with me. Thank you for thinking of them.”

“Of course, sweetheart.”

Daniel turned to Ellery to make sure it was okay with them and exchanged numbers. Ellery looked so happy and gave me a nod of approval.

“Are you ready to go, sweetie?” I loved it when he called me ‘sweetheart,’ but ‘sweetie’ was even better and made my little side want to burst free.

“Yeah, I just need to put this away and grab Ember.”

He ruffled my hair and planted a quick kiss on my lips. “Why don’t I go grab Ember while you put that away and get your shoes on?”

“Otay!”

We quickly got ready and said goodbye to Ellery. Daddy made quick work of helping me into the truck and buckling me in with Ember secured safely in my lap. Only fifteen minutes later, we were pulled up to this beautiful ranch-style home with a wrap-around porch.

“We’re here!”

“Wow, your home is so pretty.” As we pulled in, I saw a huge shed in the back of the house that I assumed was his workshop.

“Thank you. Once we get you inside and settled in, I’ll give you a tour.”

Daniel parked the truck, came around, and unbuckled me.

He led us to the front door, his hand in mine, while I gripped Ember with the other.

The minute we stepped inside, I knew this was his home; it fit his personality so well, and I immediately felt welcome and safe.

The furniture was rustic and beautiful. I wondered how many of the pieces he had built himself.

The living room had a fireplace and a huge rug that looked so soft I immediately imagined myself lying on my stomach, the smooth fibers cushioning me as I colored.

“I love it, it’s so warm and cozy here.”

He let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. Bending down, he nuzzled the side of my neck, his warmth sending a shiver through me as he held me close. “That makes me so happy. I want you to be comfortable here. Are you ready to see the rest?”

I wiggled against his stronghold and nodded. “Yes, please.”

He took me further into the house, where a cozy dining area nestled beside an open kitchen. The kitchen featured a sleek island with a few barstools. I pictured myself sitting there playing as I waited for him to cook. The image sent a warm flutter through my stomach.

Daniel grabbed my hand again and led us down the hall, showing me the guest bedroom and bathroom. His deep voice as he showed me where everything was soothed any lingering nerves. When we reached the end of the hall, he opened the door and took us inside.

“This is my room.”

The room was exactly what I expected; the furniture matched the rest of the house. In the center was a huge king-sized bed covered in the softest-looking comforter and pillows.

He pointed to the left, where two doors were on either side of the wall. “The one on the left is the bathroom, and the one on the right is a walk-in closet. We’ll have time for you to explore those later, but first, I have something I want to show you.”

I cocked my head in a silent question. He pulled me across the room until we stood in front of two French doors.

“I want you to know… no one else has used anything in this room. As David so kindly put it, I’ve been quite obsessed with collecting things for my future boy.” I gave Daddy’s hand a few comforting squeezes. He seemed nervous, and I wanted him to know there was no reason to be.

“David told me I should wait until I met my boy to decorate the room fully, but damn, was I glad I didn’t listen.

From the moment I met you, I’ve felt drawn to you.

I’m not sure why I gravitated towards dragons, but it started with me finding this adorable dragon onesie, and then it just snowballed from there.

I was beginning to worry that I wouldn’t find a boy at all, much less one who has a high affinity for dragons.

I hope you like this room as much as I do. ”

My Daddy was rambling nervously, and I itched to give him the same comfort he gave me. I threw myself at him, throwing my hands around his neck. “I’m so excited, Daddy, it’s gonna be great cause you made it. Plus… dragons make everything awesome!”

His eyes softened as the tension fled his body. “You are just the sweetest boy. Come here, little one.”

I couldn’t help the squeak that escaped me as Daddy grabbed my ass and lifted me into his arms. I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist and buried my face in his shoulder. He still held me tight as he stepped forward, opened one of the doors, and carried me inside.

“This is my Daddy dragon hoard… and hopefully your playroom. If you want it to be.”

Lifting my head, I looked around the room. Tears prickled at my eyes as I took in my surroundings. “Daddy, oh my… It- It’s beautiful.”

The longest wall was covered in the most beautiful mural I’d ever seen. A lovely, glowing sunrise was depicted rising over a mountain landscape. The forest trees were scattered across the mountains, shrouded in a gorgeous, dusty blue fog, as a majestic dragon’s silhouette soared through the sky.

Daddy held me tight against him as he took me around the room.

The excitement and pride in his voice as he showed me everything he’d collected for his boy…

for me, was palpable. In one corner of the room lay a full-sized bed that was surrounded by custom railing.

It looked like a crib, except bigger, but it sat flat on the floor.

The bed was filled with various stuffed animals and soft blankets, which made me want to jump inside and roll around.

I wiggled with excitement, making Daddy’s grip tighten around me.

“Just a bit longer, little one, and then we’ll get you dressed so you can play.”

I squealed softly in excitement as we made our way to the other side of the room. There was a changing table and dresser combination in the corner that was obviously made for an adult.

“Did you make that, Daddy?”

He leaned forward and kissed the tip of my nose. “I made most of the furniture in here except the gliding chair. But yes, the changing table, railing, and various shelves were all made by me.”

“They’re gorgeous. You’re so talented!”

The glider was wide enough that Daddy could hold me in his lap and rock me while giving me a bottle. Several small bookshelves were overflowing with books; next to them sat a cubby with colored bins, each labeled on the front.

“Thank you, sweetheart. I’m so thrilled you like it.”

“Like it? Daddy… It’s a playroom full of Dragons and fun toys. I don’t just like it… I love it.”

His smile was blinding, and his eyes sparkled with satisfaction. I planted a big kiss on his cheek and then nuzzled the side of his face with mine. “Thank you, Daddy! It’s so magical in here… I can’t believe it.”

“Believe it, baby… only the best for you.”
