Chapter Forty-One

DAISY

“Little Flower, that’s not the case,” Daddy said as he walked into the kitchen.

Daisy sat straight and looked at him wide-eyed. When did he get here? How much had he heard?

“Little Daisy. I’m sorry for making you feel like you weren’t enough.

That I made you think I was giving up on our relationship.

It was never my intention. I wanted to keep you safe and healthy.

Part of me was worried that if I punished you, you were going to faint and I wouldn’t be there for you,” Daddy explained.

“Like I would be able to pass out without you knowing. You are with me all the time,” Daisy muttered.

There was no escaping Daddy. Ever since she’d landed herself in the hospital, he’d been more demanding, controlling, and protective. Not that she had minded, but she wanted the other side of him. The discipline, pampering, and warning her at the same time.

“No, you wouldn’t be able to, but it was still a worry.

Everything about you makes me worried. I’m worried that I’m not going to be the best Daddy for you and that I’m going to let you down.

I’m worried that, despite me giving you everything you want, you’ll leave me.

I was worried that, if I spanked you, gave you lines, or some other punishment, you would faint and then would blame me,” Daddy explained.

“That’s not going to happen, Daddy,” Daisy said.

How did he think that it was a possibility? Sure, she had only gotten punished once before but it wasn’t like something would happen to her and then she would just pass out.

“I’m not a delicate flower,” Daisy continued.

“I know you’re worried about me passing out, and I am as well, but you can’t always treat me like I’m delicate.

You can still spank me or give me lines or other punishments.

I’ll let you know if I ever feel like I’m going to pass out. That’s why I have my safe word.”

Trent was still sitting next to her as they talked, Dominic right behind Daddy. She didn’t really want them to listen in on their conversation, but at that point, she didn’t really care. Daddy was finally talking to her about this, and she couldn’t be happier.

“Daddy is sorry for not taking care of you to the best of my ability. Sorry for not punishing you when you needed to be punished and neglecting you.” Daddy took several steps toward her and clasped her hands. “Will you forgive Daddy?”

She nodded. “Yes, Daddy. Of course I’ll forgive you. So, everything is going to go back to normal now?” she asked.

“We’re going to find our new normal. Things are going to look different, but you are still going to get punished when you’ve been naughty and get rewards when you’ve been good. We’re going to figure out how to live together and give each other what we need and want,” Daddy gently said.

Her shoulders sagged in relief. “Thank you, Daddy. I was worried things were not going to end well and that we were somehow going to have to split up.”

“Do you want to split up?”

Tears welled up in her eyes as she rapidly shook her head.

“Never! I never want to leave you. You are mine, and I am yours. We are meant to be together for the rest of our lives. I don’t want anything different.

I want you, only you. I want you for the rest of my life, but if you don’t want me, then I guess I will live the rest of my life alone, because I know I won’t be able to find anyone else for me. ”

Daddy moved his hands to cup her cheeks. “You are never getting rid of me. You and I are going to stay together for the rest of our lives. Through thick and thin, and making sure that we have each other.”

Daddy pulled Daisy into his embrace, and she cuddled into him. It was like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders as they cleared up their misunderstanding. Daisy couldn’t be happier that things were now getting back to normal.

Daddy pulled away and gave her a smile. “How about we go home, and we can take care of those punishments?”

Daisy rubbed the back of her neck as her cheeks warmed. “What punishments? I don’t remember you giving me any punishments since I’ve been back from the hospital. I don’t think I need to get punished.”

Trent and Dominic laughed out loud and shook their heads at her.

“Oh, this is karma. You’ve been plenty naughty,” Trent said.

“You were naughty today,” Dominic chimed in.

“I was not!” Daisy shouted.

Daddy raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. “Oh, you weren’t?”

She nodded. “I wasn’t naughty.”

“I beg to differ. You left Chilli in my office. You know one of the rules is you always take Chilli with you, no matter where you go. You knew that, yet you left my office without Chilli,” Daddy said.

“I, well, I... I didn’t mean to. I just. I didn’t know what to say to you.

I didn’t know if I could say it, so then I got really frustrated at myself and was crying, and I didn’t want you to see me crying, so then I left without realizing that I left Chilli with you,” she said in one breath.

“So really, I don’t think that you should punish me for that. ”

“That’s not how it works. But that’s not even counting the other times you were naughty in the past month. Purposefully not drinking all your water or eating all your food. Not taking care of yourself and not telling Daddy when something is on your mind and bothering you,” Daddy listed.

“Okay. Okay, you don’t have to tell anymore. I know that I might have been a little bit naughty,” she mumbled. “But you can’t really blame me. I mean, I didn’t mean to be naughty, but you weren’t doing anything. I wanted to see what you’d do if I was naughty, whether you would punish me.”

“And why didn’t you just come to me and tell me that you wanted to be punished?” Daddy asked.

“Because I didn’t want you to leave me if you were done,” she barely whispered.

“What was that?”

Daisy shook her head.

“Answer me, Little Flower. What did you just say?” Daddy gripped her chin between his forefinger and thumb, making her look up at him.

“I didn’t want you to leave me if you were done with our relationship. I didn’t want to bring up that you weren’t punishing me, even though I was naughty. I didn’t want to give you a reason to leave me,” she explained, closing her eyes.

“Little Flower. You can come to me for anything. You can tell me anything, even if it’s about me.

I want you to feel comfortable. I’m not going to get offended.

If you don’t like something, how am I going to know if you don’t tell me?

” Daddy asked. “I know this was the first time, and we have a lot to learn still about each other, but you can always come to me. And if, by chance, you feel you can’t talk to me, I want you to go to one of the other owners and tell them.

I know saying something about your partner, the love of your life, can be difficult sometimes.

If it’s too hard to talk about it in person, you can write it down. ”

Daisy had never thought about writing about how she was feeling on paper. It would be exponentially easier than telling him if it were something like this situation.

“Next time I’ll try writing it out and giving it to you,” she replied.

“Good girl. Now, come on, let’s go home, deal with your punishment, and then we can spend the rest of the day together.” Daddy held out his hand.

She quickly grabbed it, and he helped her out of the kitchen.

“Bye, Dominic. Bye, Trent. Thank you for the cookies and milk,” she called out. “You’re gonna have to make up for me not being able to eat the cookies. Trent took them away because I started to choke on them.”

Daddy’s eyes went wide as he stopped walking and knelt in front of her. “Are you okay? Do you need anything? Is your throat sore?”

“I’m okay, Daddy. Trent stopped me from eating anymore before I could hurt myself,” she grumbled. “They were good cookies, though. They made me feel a little bit better while I was crying, but he took them away before I could even finish one cookie.”

“When we come to work next, I’ll ask him to give you some,” Daddy said.

“Every time we work? Maybe we could come in tomorrow and the following day and the next day after that.”

Daddy shook his head and gripped her hand tighter, and they started walking again. “You are not getting cookies each time we come into work. You are just going to get them the next time because you were able to finish them today.”

“Party pooper.” She pushed her bottom lip out as she looked up at him.

Daddy tapped her pouty lip. “No sulking. You’d better put that away.”

“But you’re being unfair. Everybody should get a cookie whenever they come into the club.

It would brighten up their day. It would really brighten up my day each time we came here.

I think that should be a rule now. Everybody has to get a cookie whenever they come into the club so they can enjoy the goodies.

And it should be two a day if you’re there all day.

One in the morning, and then one in the afternoon,” Daisy continued as they walked to the car.

“I bet you would like that, but it’s not going to become a rule,” Daddy said as he helped her buckle up.

“No fair.”

“Life isn’t fair.”

Didn’t need to tell her about it.

“Let’s go home, Daddy.”

Home. Daisy never thought she would ever say that word out loud.
