Chapter 17

BB

I finally break through with Beau and fucking Robin is here to ruin everything.

The only thing that could make it worse is that she’s pulling her shit in front of my son.

I’ve spent every year of Ty’s life trying to shield him from his mother’s craziness.

Up until today, I thought I’d been mostly successful. I was so fucking wrong.

I’m so mad that my body is vibrating with it.

Robin has made my life miserable since before Ty was born.

I don’t regret him. My son is the center of my world.

Until Beau, he was the sole purpose that I had in life.

Now, it’s the two of them and I’ll be damned if I will allow this bitch to ruin it for me.

I wasn’t happy when Ty told me that he wanted to begin visitation with his mother.

To find out that he only did it because she emotionally blackmailed him fucking destroys me.

I should have seen what was going on. I should have protected my boy more.

I forcefully pull the door open so hard that it slams against the wall.

I may have to replace the sheetrock in Beau’s house because of this, but I’ll do it.

Right now, I need to make a point to the self-absorbed, rotten-to-the-core, bitch who has constantly tried to ruin my life.

“You fucking prick!” she screams at me. Looking at her now, I can’t figure out how in the hell I was ever stupid enough to fool with her in the first place. I know I was young and ruled by my dick, but how was I ever that damn stupid?

She starts to shove her way inside Beau’s house, but that’s not happening.

I step in her way and wrap my hand around her neck.

I apply enough pressure so that she knows she’s on thin ice and then I back her up until she’s against the side of her car.

A car that I paid for. I know this because I paid her a hundred grand for complete custody of my child and bought her a nice vehicle on top of that.

It was something I did because after Ty was born, she was always stopping me from seeing my son and making me jump through hoops just to get every other weekend.

It’s a bill that I’m still paying off to the club, although I’ve paid all but twenty-thousand.

It hasn’t been easy. I’ve worked my ass off and been surviving on shit money.

Hell, I didn’t even move out of my parents’ home until about a year ago.

“I know this is hard for you Robin, but I need you to search that fucking empty head of yours and find that conniving, pea-sized brain of yours. Do you think you can do that?”

“Fuck you!” she hisses.

“I can see we can’t,” I huff.

“Fuck you!” she screams again. “I want my son! You do not move my child in with one of your whores!”

“Ty is not your son. He’s mine!” I growl. “You sold him to me. Do you remember, bitch? You used my boy as a bargaining chip to get money.”

“I was broke! I didn’t have a choice!”

“Bullshit. You only got pregnant to drain me dry. You knew I was breaking free from the shit you’d been shoveling me and decided to tie my ass to you the only way you could.

Fuck, you had dollar signs in your eyes from the beginning.

I was just too fucking young to see it. Don’t worry, though.

I saw how quick you sold your son for money and whatever illusion I had that you had good in you somewhere was shattered. ”

“You don’t know me, asshole! I love Ty. My son wants to live with me.

He had to fucking beg you to even get to see me a couple of times a month!

Now, you’re stupid enough to think you can move my child in with your whore.

That is not happening. That is my boy, and he will not be a tool you use to play house with your latest piece of ass. ”

“You think you’ve seen me upset before but trust me Robin, if you call my woman a whore one more time, I’m going to show you up close and personal why the Devil’s Blaze is fucking feared. Do you get me?”

“Your woman?” she laughs. “That’s rich. You don’t claim a woman.

You play by one rule. For you it’s always the more the merrier.

Tell me, do you think that bitch in there will give you the time of day when she finds out you like to stick your dick in as many holes as you can find?

She’s probably stupid enough to think you can remain faithful, but trust and believe that I’ll make sure she knows just how wrong she is, motherfucker. ”

I can hear sirens coming. Choking the life out of her would probably be a bad idea, but fucking hell, I’m sorely tempted.

“Your visitation with my son is over. He told me what you fucking did, Robin. I didn’t think you could get any lower, I really didn’t.

Then, once again, you prove how fucking na?ve I am.

I keep expecting to find good inside of you, when the truth is, you’re so rotten that there’s nothing but worms crawling inside where a heart should be. ”

“You can’t do that! I’ll take you to court asshole. Ty asked for that himself. No judge in the world would agree to ending my time with him!”

“Really? I think any judge would end your contact with him when they find out the child’s own mother told him that she was going to kill herself and used emotional blackmail to get him to agree to start visiting with her.

” I watch shock hit her face. She thought her blackmail was a secret—fucking skank.

I smirk. “Wasn’t expecting that were you?

” I scoff. “Your little game—or whatever the fuck this is you’re trying to stage here—is not going to work.

In fact, any relationship you thought you would have with Ty is now over.

He confessed everything and trust me, my very first call will be to my attorney the moment they cart your ass away from here.

Maybe you signed our contract without reading it?

I told you to have a lawyer look it over, I guess you were just too fucking stupid and greedy to do it.

That was a huge mistake. You got a hundred grand, but I got full custody.

You have zero visitation and would only get to see your son if he requested it.

Now that I know you basically blackmailed him to get that, it ends, bitch. ”

“Is everything okay?” Beau asks from the door. I spare a glance at her—mostly because I can’t stop myself. She’s standing there, still in my shirt, worry written all over her face. This is not the side of my life that I wanted to introduce her to after having her again.

“No, everything is not right, you stupid cunt! I want my son out here right now. I’m not going to let him live with you—”

I thrust Robin back against her car, keeping my hand around her throat and pinning her with a look that I know is filled with equal parts of anger and hate.

Those are the only two emotions that this bitch ever brings out in me since the moment she told me if I didn’t marry her, she would abort my son.

Luckily for me, money was more important to her than a marriage license.

“What the fuck did I tell you about calling my woman names?” I have enough pressure on her neck that I know she can’t talk. She can whimper—which she does—but that’s about it.

“Hunter, it’s okay. The boys are worried. Maybe you can come in once Adam takes over.”

I turn to look at her, confused. A police car pulls up, the driver must have muted the siren I heard earlier. He gets out and it’s Adam Kahler. Of all the cops that could show up, I’m glad it’s him. He’s been around the longest and definitely knows Robin’s history.

“Hey, Beau.”

“Hi, Adam.

I frown because he addresses Beau first. Jealousy flares inside of me.

I don’t know Beau’s past when it comes to relationships.

Apparently, that’s something I need to learn fast. I push Robin away in disgust and walk over to Beau—who is standing outside on the small cement padded area now.

I go to stand by her and pull her into my side, keeping my arm tight around her.

It’s partly to show that she’s mine, but mostly having her close is calming me.

“BB,” Adam says, his lips twitching. He doesn’t miss that I’m making it clear that Beau belongs to me. That’s damn good. I half expected Beau to fight it, but she doesn’t. Her arms are against my side, one hand splayed out on my chest. It feels damn good.

“Adam.”

His gaze moves back to Robin and all traces of humor have left him. My ex definitely has that effect on people.

“Beau said there was a woman outside her home causing a disturbance. I assume that would be you, Miss Cabell.”

“I’m not causing trouble. I’m here to get my son,” she snarls, rubbing her throat. “This asshole assaulted me. I’m sure there are bruises to prove it—or there will be!”

I roll my eyes. “Is it your visitation time?” Adam asks her.

“No,” I answer for her. Before I can explain anything more, I hear the sound of pipes echoing down the small street. “Motherfucker,” I mutter under my breath.

“Just great. The thugs of Corbin are here to flex their muscle. You see what you’re in for bitch? You spread your legs for this asshole and they all will rain hell down on you if you don’t toe the line,” Robin gripes.

“Adam either you take her away or gag the cow, but if she calls Beau one more name, nothing you do will hold me back.”

“Go ahead and try BB! You lay one hand on me, and I’ll be the one bringing you up on charges!”

“Let’s all just calm down here for a minute,” Adam butts in, doing his best to try and get control of the situation.
