Epilogue #5

Jun still breathing well, but his chest was rising and falling fast. He slowed to a jog, looking back frequently. Damian kept himself in the open, letting Jun see him. Jun made eye contact. His Adam's apple bobbed in his throat and he turned, fleeing.

Damian threw himself down the trail after him.

Jun

Running naked was different from running clothed.

The air flowed everywhere. The forest felt closer.

Brushing up against bushes was intimate and potentially consequential.

He’d felt alive before; now he felt all of that with an added electric spark.

His blood was pumping and there was a pulse of adrenaline.

However he’d expected Damian to start the hunt, perving on him bathing naked wasn’t it.

He would have been less surprised if Damian had jumped him in the water.

He hadn’t even gotten his clothes back on so Damian could tear them off.

Whatever could he have expected though, stripping naked?

He hadn’t cared. There had been the woods, and the light, and the smells and all the freedom, and then water and he’d gone with it.

Dammit, he’d done so much of Damian’s work for him.

Hopefully Damian wouldn’t be hurt by that. Not that it seemed like Damian was having a problem with the show.

Jun glanced back and all thoughts of the future vanished. Damian was so close, almost as naked as Jun was, thick thighs pumping as he rounded a bend in the trail.

Jun squeaked and fled, feet churning against the mulch of the forest floor. Don’t let him catch you. Don’t let him catch you. Run!

He swiped a handful of moss from a stump as he passed and threw it back behind him.

Daman chuckled.

Jun growled behind his teeth and put on a bit more speed.

He almost didn’t see the giant tree right in front of him.

He grabbed a smaller tree, trying to slow down and change his trajectory.

Damian was on him in an instant, both arms wrapping around Jun’s and gripping his torso.

His ass slotting into the bend of Damian’s hips.

“Argh!” Jun twisted. Damian’s arm was right there. He bit.

Damian howled and let go. Jun stumbled, caught himself, and pushed away, fingers catching Damian’s jock strap.

Jun jerked it down, quickly, getting it trapped between Damian’s legs.

A hand caught his ass, fingers raking down his skin.

He scrambled for purchase and hit the trail, legs pumping beneath him.

Damian

Damian rubbed his arm, smirking. Vicious little thing.

Jun was already down the trail. He pulled off his jockstrap and left it on the trail.

Not giving his imp a chance to pull that again.

Damian loped after him. He needed to handicap Jun soon, unless he was going to just run him down.

But Jun was close to peek physical condition.

Damian had been running twice a week with Matthew, working with his Aikido sensei twice a week and hitting the gym the other days, all in the hopes that he would be able to over power Jun properly.

He put on a burst of speed and came at Jun from the side as the trail forked. Jun shied and headed down the right hand side, just as Damian had hoped. Damian kept a few lengths behind, swiping at Jun’s butt now and then and missing, just to see his boy’s eyes widen and his breath come faster.

He pushed his rhythm and bounded up an incline behind Jun, rushing him. Jun looked back. A thin branch caught him on the side of the head. He stumbled, not even going down, but faltering. Damian rushed him, pushing him up against a tree, shoving his thigh between Jun’s leg and grabbing his wrist.

Jun

Jun screamed as his groin almost made contact with the tree.

But then Damian’s hand was there, between his soft bits and the bark, cupping him and massaging Jun’s cock and balls.

Jun braced himself, pushing away from Damian’s proprietary grip.

The move only pushed his body back into Damian’s, Jun’s hips slotting against Damian’s upper thighs and his ass pressing against Damian’s cock.

There was nowhere to go that didn’t give Damian some sort of advantage. Jun writhed, trying to break to the side. Damian mouthed his neck, pushing him more against the tree.

He managed to get his weight shifted on his feet and kicked out. He stamped on Damian’s foot and twisted, giving up on not grinding against Damian and pushing back into him until he could turn his head and open his mouth to deliver another bite.

His teeth just barely grazed over Damian’s arm when Damian let go, a soft laughter and lips brushing his shoulders as Damian stepped back.

A sharp sting lit Jun’s right ass cheek. A slap.

Damian

Jun scuttled back, swinging around to face Damian.

Gods, he was beautiful like this. Wild. Instinctive.

Covered in sweat, his chest heaving, his hair wet from both the water and exertion.

There were bits of forest all over his frame.

A certain indignation from being struck on his beautiful rear lit his eyes from within.

Pride beat through Damian’s chest. This was his person. His Jun. His wolfling. His precious prey.

“Run,” Damian growled.

Jun growled back and spun away, feet throwing up dead leaves.

Jun

Jun shuddered as he fled. Even though he wasn’t scared, he was…scared. His blood was pumping, his back tingled from knowing a predator was behind him. His arms and legs pulsed as he churned over the trail, seeking speed. His rear still burned from the touch of Damian’s palm.

He glanced behind. Damian was there, not right on him, but not far.

For a man with as much thick muscle as Damian had, he could move.

Jun fainted right, trying to lose him by leaving the trail.

Damian didn’t waver. Jun headed back to the main path.

Maybe he could drop behind a log somewhere and disappear. He needed to breathe.

The trail came out on an open grassy clearing. Absolutely nowhere to hide. Jun looked back again. Damian had slowed a little, giving them space. Jun stopped in the middle of the clearing, breathing hard, facing Damian. There was a good ten meters between them. Jun bent over, hands on his knees.

Jun shook his head. Dammit. A good half of him wanted to give in.

He knew what Damian’s touch felt like. He wanted all that primal warm body on top of him.

But no. The other half of him was churning with indignation.

Damian got nothing until he earned it. Until he put Jun down and made him stay.

He got nothing until he made the rest of Jun want to be his helpless, subjugated prey.

He wouldn’t—couldn’t—let Damian win. If Damian wanted a pet today, he was going to have to earn the right. Jun backed away, slowly.

Damian prowled towards him. Everything about him was beautiful. His abs tightening and creasing as he breathed. His thigh muscles rippling. Not fair, not fair. Not fair.

Damian walked in a half circle, spiraling inwards. Jun narrowed his eyes.

Jun shuffled in place, then backed away in a different direction to keep his eyes on Damian.

Fuck it, it was time to move. He spun around and darted across the grass. He fell, immediately, into a low section, the grass hiding how deep the drop of the ground was.

Damian dropped on top of him, a great, warm weight with arms and legs caging him in.

Jun fought, twisting and turning. All the pent up nervous energy of the chase ripped free. He snarled, clawing for purchase against the ground and bucking up under Damian. Damian grunted, thrown off for a moment, but he didn’t let go. In an instant, he was back on top of Jun.

Damian put his hand on Jun’s head and pushed him into the grass.

Jun screamed. Then screamed again just because it felt…

wild. And fitting. He kicked and rolled and then turned and sank his teeth into the soft skin of Damian’s armpit.

No deodorant or foreign taste there, just Damian’s sweat and skin.

Damian bellowed, rising up just enough that Jun jerked his arm free. He rolled, making a break for it.

A hand wrapped around his ankle, yanking him from his crouch to his belly. Jun yowled, clawing at the grass for purchase. Damian wrapped an arm around Jun’s head, forcing Jun to arch his head to the side.

Jun shuddered. Fuck .

Damian’s teeth grabbed him by the back of his neck.

Jun grunted and bucked. Damian’s teeth tightened.

Instincts rolled through Jun. His hands relaxed in the grass.

He dropped his head, letting Damian hold him and lay flat under Damian’s body.

His heart thudded in his chest. Damian held him down for a long count.

Then slowly released. Jun waited, staying loose on the ground.

Until he felt Damian let out a long breath.

He twisted at his hips, bringing his elbow up and back, hitting Damian in the ribs. Damian fell to the side. Jun scrambled for purchase, getting one knee under him. He broke for it.

Damian

His wolfling was more wildcat than wolf. Damian wheezed through the pain in his side, blinking back tears in his eyes and grabbed at Jun. His boy was almost free. Damian’s hand slipped on Jun’s lower leg, dragging his shoe off. Jun turned back, fending Damian off with a kick.

Damian heaved himself up and pulled Jun down by his arm.

They rolled together in the grass, wrestling face to face, until Jun turned away, trying again to get to his feet.

His other shoe was lost to the grass. Damian pinned Jun by his lower legs and pulled off his socks.

He dragged his fingers over Jun’s arches.

Jun cursed a blue streak, in at least three languages. He turned himself into a pretzel to pummel Damian into defense again.

Damian surrendered Jun’s feet just to flatten him back to the ground. Jun dropped, breathing hard. Damian straddled him, capturing Jun’s wrists.

“Beautiful prey.” Damian whispered. He licked Jun’s chest and caught Jun’s nipple between his teeth.
