Chapter 23

Caspian

Sitting in my truck with the music low, I wait for Rick to close up the grow house. Brax walks from the side of the building and climbs in as I look over to him.

“You sure you want to do this?” I ask with a sinister smile on my face.

“Abso-fucking-lutely,” he replies, cracking his knuckles. “Payback is a bitch and revenge is a motherfucker.” He laughs and I nod.

“Is Axel at home?” He asks and I nod.

“He’s with Gumdrop, watching movies and drawing. I need them both busy tonight while we handle business.” I reply and he nods.

“I agree, let's keep them far away from this, especially Lil’Mama.” He says before taking out a joint and lighting it.

“Axel’s going to be pissed when he finds out, but he’ll get over it.” I say as he passes the joint to me. Taking a deep pull, I lay my head back against the headrest as the demon inside me is ripping at the seams, ready to unleash its own hell tonight.

Rick finally comes up from the basement, walking out of the shop and rolling down the garage door. Walking over to my truck, he takes his phone out as I pass him the joint, but shakes his head, so I pass it back to Braxton.

“What’s the plan?” Rick asks, and I laugh sinisterly.

“I’m going to request a meeting at the old clearing. We’ll grab the tanks, put them in your trunk, and then you’ll follow me.

“That’s it. Just request a meetup? What the fuck Casp? I want them fucking dead. You didn’t get to see the bruises all over her body, but I did. The only way to make this right, is with his heart not beating.” Mav growls, throwing his hands in the air. “At least Axel would’ve wanted to get his hands bloody. Are you going soft?” He asks, causing me to growl.

“No, you dipshit. They will get what they deserve. Just trust me. You know we can’t kill him. That takes a very calculated plan, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come close to it.” I smirk and he rolls his eyes. Walking over to the side of the garage, he grabs two gasoline tanks, brings them to the back of his car and places them in the trunk. Looking back at me, he nods, getting into his own car.

Taking my phone out, I shoot Jacob Lee a text letting him know his product is ready for pickup. He never comes alone, so I know this plan will work and if he does, well, it looks like we’ll get to kill him after all.

Putting my truck in drive, I crawl to the automatic gates, waiting for them to open fully and leave the shop. Pulling over to the side, we wait for Rick to exit and the gates to close completely. Pulling away from the curb, I head to the clearing off the highway on the outskirts of town.

“Mav really wants this kids fucking blood. Have you spoken to Gumdrop?” I say, looking over at Brax. He smiles, nodding his head.

“Briefly, but listen, Casp. I caught Jacob with his hands around her throat and not in a good way. She was fucking scared. So, I broke his nose and put him to sleep. Them jumping me was for that, but now that we know the truth, this shit comes to an end, tonight. We need to keep her safe,” he says, and I raise a brow.

“How so?” I ask, but he shakes his head.

“It doesn’t matter man. I’m not asking for permission. It’s happening whether you’re with me or not,” he spits and I nod, keeping my thoughts to myself. I may not be around them a lot with having to make sure all our soldiers are moving product and being at the grow house constantly, but I overhear conversations and see with my own eyes what is happening here.

All of my brothers have a thing for Gumdrop, and I’m pretty sure she’s got it bad for them, too. No one but Rick has outwardly admitted their feelings and intentions for her. But what I do know, is Rick doesn’t share, and that alone is going to be a fucking problem. They don’t have to worry about me, though. I just like messing with her. Seeing the blush rise from her chest to her cheeks anytime I’m near her. She’s an easy target, like most women. Give them a little bit of attention and they literally beg for more. I’d love to see her beg for me, especially wearing my collar around her gorgeous neck. That would be a sight to see.

Pulling off the highway and down the dirt road, I come to the clearing and park. Leaving my headlights on, we get out of the truck and walk over to where Rick is parked. Brax taps on the trunk and removes the gasoline tanks from inside, handing one to Rick.

“Go pour those into a large circle.” I order as I take out my phone and see Jacob took the bait. Looks like he should be arriving momentarily.

“Gotta move quickly. I don’t want them to get any clue of what we are about to do.” I say as they do what is asked of them. Walking over to my truck, I grab the drugs he ordered from my glove box and go stand with my brothers, spinning my hunting knife along my belt. Rick takes out his gun, pulling the mag to make sure it's loaded before snapping it back into place, cocking it and shoving it in the back of his waistband.

Headlights swing across us as the asshole pulls in, parking behind us. The doors open and shut as four of his buddies come to stand in front of us. “Make sure you stay within the circle, no matter what happens. The goal is to get them to cross that line.” I whisper and they grunt as Jacob approaches, standing in front of them.

“You got the product?” He asks, and I smirk.

“I do. You got the cash?” I ask, and he nods, tossing me a wad of bills.

“Looks a little light, asshole.” I say and he laughs.

“You owe me for the night in Montauk.” He replies and now it’s my turn to laugh. Taking a step back, further into the circle, I take the bag of smack and chuck it right into the center.

“Fetch, little bitch. That’s what you are. A whole ass bitch. Let’s remember something, Radley, I saved your ass and the hooker you hired, even if we killed one. If it wasn’t for me, you would’ve had to call your daddy to come save you.” I spit as he takes a step closer. My brothers spread out, giving me some space to goad the fucker in.

“Bullshit.” Jacob spews, but I change the subject to why we are really here.

“Also, I heard you and your little bitches like to jump people. So this is what we are going to do. One by one, each of your boys here is going to go head to head with Braxton. If they win, we call it good. If not, you stay the fuck away from Presley.” I warn as Rick growls next to me.

“She’s my girlfriend. Get fucked.” He replies, but Mav pulls the gun, pressing under his chin, taking the safety off. Taking my knife out, I step next to Rick, pressing my knife against Duke's chest as Brody and Chester stand in complete silence.

“Not anymore. I stole her. I saw the bruises you left all over her body. If you ever come near her again, I will fucking kill you. The only thing saving you right now is that last name of yours, but mark my fucking words,” he spits, pressing the muzzle deeper into his chin, causing Jacob to wince. “It will only save you for so long.” He growls, pistol whipping Jacob across the mouth. Blood sprays across Rick’s chest as Jacobs head whips to the side. No one moves as Jacob rights himself, wiping the blood from his lips.

“Now, do we have a deal?” I ask, spinning my knife in the air and stabbing Chester in the arm causing his gun to drop to the ground.

“You really underestimate who the fuck you’re dealing with. As a matter of fact, fuck it. Strip.” I command. Their eyes widen. Ripping the knife from Chester's arm, I send it flying into Brody’s thigh. He screams as Braxton presses the knife deeper, turning the handle and ripping it out, tossing the blade back to me.

“You want it too?” I ask, looking straight at Jacob, but he shakes his head, removing his shirt.

“That’s right, little bitch. Strip out those expensive clothes and stand over there with the product you paid for.” I spit as Rick nudges Jacob with his gun to move faster.

“This isn’t over.” Jacob spits and I laugh.

“Oh, but it is. Next time you think about trying to hurt one of us, including that sexy little Gumdrop, remember this night. The night you underestimated the Cyprus brothers.” I taunt as they all strip from their clothes and walk over to the bag of smack laying on the ground. Rick takes his phone out, snapping a few pictures as Brax lights a joint. He takes a few pulls before handing it to me.

“Let this be lesson number one, boy. Don’t go against a Cyprus, because next time, it won’t be as easy.” I spit, taking a hit off the joint, exhaling as we watch them shiver in the cold night.

“Scared little piggies. Oink, oink. Have a wonderful evening my little bitches. See you soon, or maybe I won’t.” I sing as I flick the joint into the grass and watch as the circle engulfs in flames. Hues of oranges, yellows and reds light up the night sky as the little piggies squander trying to set themselves free.

Unfortunately for Brody, his body engulfs in the flames as he runs around the clearing, screaming as his skin melts from the muscle and bone. And it’s not before long, his screams die down as he falls to his knees, then on his face. “Sucks to suck, doesn’t it?” I spit and Jacob screams.

“Come on, please, just put the fire out! You already killed one of us. Please! I’ll do as you say,” he cries as the circle of flames gets smaller and smaller. Forcing them to huddle together. We laugh as Rick takes more pictures of their embarrassment, but finally Jacob uses Chester, pushing him first and following behind him so he could escape unscathed. Sirens go off in the distance, signaling our fun time is over. Going to my truck, I hop in as Rick gets in his car. I watch him leave first before gunning it out of there and onto the main highway.

“Was that good enough for you? At least for now?” I ask Brax and he nods.

“Watching them squeal is better than kicking his ass.” He laughs and I follow suit.

I hope for Jacob’s sake that he listens to the threat because next time, it will cost him his life.

The ride home was quick and quiet. As we pull up, I immediately hear glass breaking. Axel. Flying out of the truck, I run up the stairs and swing the door open, taking out my knife, ready to sink into warm flesh.

“Axel!” I scream but don’t see him or anyone in the living room, but grunts are heard from the kitchen. Stepping in, I duck as a glass comes flying at my head. Presley has Amber by the back of her head, slamming it into the counter.

“Fuck you. You fucking cunt!” She screams as movement comes from the right of me in the corner. Axel is balled up, his face buried in his knees, rocking as these two fucking idiots fight. Where the fuck is Harley?

Finally, my brothers enter the room and Rick hauls Presley into the air, tossing her into the living room. I walk over to Axel and kneel down, placing my hand gently on his shoulder. “You’re okay Ax. I’m here. You’re safe.” I whisper as his head snaps up. He blinks once, twice, then gets up from the floor, running out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I spin, narrowing my eyes at Amber who’s peeling herself up from the linoleum.

Gripping her by the throat, I squeeze as her eyes pop from her head. I don’t give a fuck as I tighten my grip, tuning out Presley's screams from the other room. “Why are you here? Harley didn’t give you permission to enter this fucking house without him or any of us at home.” I spit and she shakes her head.

Footsteps from behind distract me as Rick whispers in my ear, “Don’t let her leave,” as he hands me zip ties. Letting go of her throat, I push her towards the chair and force her to sit down as I take the ties and secure her arms onto the arms of the chair.

“My brother seems to think you can’t leave just yet.” I say as her lips tremble in fear. Bending down, I get in her face. “Don’t be scared, little gold digger. Your fear makes me giddy inside. The more your lips tremble, the more I want to hurt you. So sit back and relax. This will all be over soon.” I taunt, leaving the room.

What did this gold digging bitch do that made Gumdrop lose her shit?

Seeing her all feral and violent makes me want to cage her and see how wicked she could get.
