Eighteen
EIGHTEEN
With Dagen on the back on my bike and Malik right beside us, we speed out of the parking lot of the restaurant we took her to. Danté is still in a sour mood and has yet to reach out to me. I don’t plan on making the first move because I have nothing to be apologetic for. He wanted Dagen, and Dagen wanted me. Simple as that.
It was a fun time with just the three of us. Malik is a goof, so he had Dagen laughing most of the time. She talked a little more about her life back home, and it sounded like she was really missing her family. I told myself I needed to rush along the repairs on her car but also…I don’t want to.
We pull up to a stoplight and a car with its windows down stops right next to us. Their music is loud and the girls are giggling. Malik starts dancing while still seated and the girls start to whistle. He looks over and holds his hand out to Dagen who grabs it and snakes her arms. Malik picks up where she left off, then they both start cutting up to the music. I hear her laughter in the speakers and I want to be the reason for that glorious sound.
The light turns green and the girls in the car wiggle their fingers and drive off. Malik sits back down and Dagen places her hands on my shoulders. For me, that just won’t do anymore. I take her hands and move them to wrap around my waist. Then I snake my arm around her and place my hand on her ass, pulling her close so that not even air can pass between us.
“This is where you stay,” I tell her through the speaker and she places her head on my back before I speed off.
We reach a stretch of I-10 that’s quiet and just like the first night, I tell her to hold tight while Malik and I fuck around, doing things we definitely should not be with traffic around. Mal more than me since Dagen is with me. At one point he is standing on his seat while his front tire is lifted completely in the air.
Dagen shouts through her helmet speaker. “I want to do that.”
“No way, little mouse. That takes a lot of years of practice,” I tell her.
“Teach me to ride, Hendrix.” Her hands skate up and down my chest before falling dangerously close to my aching cock.
“One day.” One day may never come.
Malik parted ways with us and headed home, leaving Dagen and all of her attention to only me. I’m a selfish son of a bitch already, less than a week into her stay, and I want all of her, all of the time.
Once we’ve put away the gear, we get cozy on my couch, Dagen sitting with her feet tucked under her. She’s talking animatedly about school after I asked her about it, and all I can think is how much I want to fuck that beautiful mouth.
“Apparently I have an internship with the Wranglers that I–”
“Dagen,” I interrupt. “Have you ever played truth or dare?”
She scoffs and rolls her eyes. “Of course I have. Everyone has played truth or dare.”
I lean in closer, my arm draped on the back of the couch, and I lower my voice. “Not the way I play it. Do you wanna have a little fun?”
Her bright smile slowly fades as her eyes grow wide. She makes an audible gulp and nods her head. “S-sure.”
With a wolf-like smile I tell her, “We’ll start slow. Truth or Dare?”
“Um, truth I guess.”
“How badly do you want to fuck me right now, little mouse?”
I can see her pulse throbbing her neck as her chest rises and falls. “Very,” she whispers.
Standing up I hold out my hand to hers and she takes it. I guide her back into the garage and straight towards the closet where I keep all of my gear.
“Time for a dare.” I open the door and pull out two helmets.
Placing mine on, I secure it in place then do the same to hers. I open the visor on both of the helmets and her eyes look like that of a frightened critter.
“You know the woods just off to the left of the house?” Her head moves up and down sluggishly. “I’m going to give you a thirty second head start.”
“Head start? To do what?”
“Run, little mouse. I dare you to run.” I trail my finger from her collarbone up her neck and stopping where the helmet starts.
“Why would I run from you?” Her voice trembles.
“Because I like to play with my food before I eat it.” The color drains from her face, her rosy cheeks turning pale, and my body buzzes with need. “Are you ready?”
“Wait. What about wild animals? There could be dangerous creatures out there.”
“Baby, I’m the only dangerous creature who will be hunting you.” I pull her towards the edge of the garage right in front of the door. “As soon as this door opens up, you’ll have thirty seconds to run. And then…I’m coming for you.”
I slam her visor shut then mine, and press the button on the remote for the garage door that I grabbed off of the hook.
Her hand shakes in mine and I give her a little squeeze to calm the nerves. Dagen’s head flies to meet mine, and though I can’t see her face under the dark shield, I can tell she’s surprised by the act.
The sound of the motor stops and I wait for her to make her move. When she continues to stare at me, I lower my voice and say, “Run run run, little mouse. The big bad wolf is coming for you.”
Her body goes rigid and then I hear her gasp for air. In the blink of an eye, she’s pulling away from me and sprinting down my driveway towards the dark woods. I watch her white shoes move farther and farther away until they disappear. I give her a few more seconds and then I bolt after her.
Dagen should have known better than to walk with danger. I’m bound to dim her bright light. But the dark side of me doesn’t give a fuck. Because even if I never see her again after she goes back, there will always be a part of me inside of her. One that I awakened and will always belong to me.
