Original text:

Whyth th blud uf Saracyns, hs vane,

Premier uf th Wolfe.

Ayes uf gilt, hare uf night,

A hart uf stel.

He is bekum Legynd.

Translation:

With the blood of Saracens in his veins,

The boldest border Wolfe.

Eyes of gold, hair of black,

And a heart of steel.

He is become legend.
