Pruitt

“That was very different,” exclaimed a cheerful Uriah as he toweled down just outside of the shower.

, equally as spent as Haven, leaned against the shower wall, water dripping from his body. “Huh?” was all he could say. “Oh, ye-yeah.”

“Didn’t think you had all that in you right now,” Uriah said.

“Yeah,” said, a concerned and distant look on his face as he grabbed for his sore shoulder. “Me neither.”

“Guess I know what my new breakfast routine will be every morning,” the vampire gave him a wink before he opened the bathroom door. “Now, if you’ll excuse me. We have a twink boyfriend who needs a big furry chest to drool on as he sleeps.”

chuckled at Uriah’s joke, his expression becoming more serious as his lover left the room.

Getting out of the shower and grabbing a towel, examined his wet body in the mirror. He spun around, then leaned forward and looked closely at the bite mark that still hadn’t healed. It throbbed and pulsated, and felt as though he shouldn’t have just exhausted himself by going another round, his whole body feeling weak now.

The werewolf thought hard—he and Uriah had never had that dynamic in their new relationship. While it was unbelievably hot, it felt as though it wasn’t him in the driver’s seat, so to speak. What got into me there? It felt like I was on autopilot.

“Strange,” was all said before toweling down, turning off the light, and joining his lovers in bed.
