You there, Hemming?? In the dark of the night some hundreds of miles away, pulled himself to one of the highest branches of a large, old tree. The look on Haven’s face was priceless, the blonde werewolf’s eyes wide with surprise.
Haven’s voice echoed through ’s head. ?Whoa! I didn’t expect company so soon.? He placed a friendly hand on the First Werewolf’s back. “Good to see you.”
“Can’t get rid of us that easy, lover boy,” came Uriah’s unmistakable voice as the vampire perched on the other side of Haven, careful to place his precious cargo down in between them.
“I promise I’ll still write you,” began a smiling Griff. “What I can’t promise is that I can stay away for long.”
Haven beamed, instantly scooping Griff up into his arms.
“So, that’s him, then?” Uriah asked, patting Haven on the back.
“It sure is,” answered in his werewolf counterpart’s place. leaned in, a look of awe on his face as—peering through the windows below—he laid eyes on the new King of Wolves.
