Silas

Kyle is struggling to free himself as I have him tied to the shower faucet.

Arms stretched above his head, but barely, because this man is ridiculously tall.

Stripped of his clothes, he hangs there naked, waiting for a punishment designed just for him.

Sage is still downstairs, and I am wondering if Chloe is still alive or not.

I know she doesn’t want to deal with Kyle.

I am not expecting her to show up here anytime soon, but I know I don’t have much time before we need to meet again, and probably run from this house to avoid the police showing up.

I am sure by now someone has called them.

It’s been hours, and no one in uniform has appeared yet.

It’s encouraging. It allows some room to improvise with the killing, but not enough.

I have stripped Kyle completely. Looking at his body, I can understand why this man has always been one of the most popular ones, even when we were in high school.

However, I don’t think he will get to flirt with any women in the future—even if he survives.

Because I am not planning to actually kill Kyle. I am not planning not to kill him, either. I take my knife in my hand and remove the duct tape from his mouth. We have to have a chat before I find Sage.

“Why are you doing this?” Kyle yells the moment the tape is off his mouth. So original.

“Revenge,” I say as I make sure his hands are secured.

“For what? What the hell did I do to you, Vale?” He has the nerve to yell in my face, pretending he didn’t ruin my life.

“Remember that rumor you spread after prom?” I question as I look through the cabinets of the bathroom.

“It wasn’t a rumor. And I only told Mark.” He doesn’t yell this time. He is talking in a low voice that sounds almost like he regrets it. “It was fucked up. We learned what happened to your sister.”

“It was fucked up,” I agree.

“Man, I didn’t know he would tell everyone.” Lies. So many lies.

“But you did. You and your friends made Sage’s life a living hell for years,” I point out, but he doesn’t deny it.

“I know,” he admits. “Are you going to kill me like Logan?”

“No,” I admit. “But I will take something from you. And because I can’t take what you took from me, I will take the next thing you love the most in your life.

” I look at his sad, deflated cock and smile.

“I will give you some painkillers, though. You have a good selection in here. And who knows, they might find you before you bleed out.”

“What?” he questions in disbelief. “Listen, man. I know I screwed up. I am sorry.” He tries to apologize, but it’s too late.

“She was pregnant,” I say as I force two painkillers down his throat. I massage his throat like giving medicine to a dog until he swallows. “Good boy.”

“It wasn’t right, Vale. A kid between siblings wasn’t right.” He shoves his belief in my face like he hasn’t done something questionable ever in his life. As if he’s in a position to judge us.

“You know we are not actually blood-related, right?” I question as I shove two more pills down his throat. He swallows on his own this time.

“What?” he asks in disbelief.

“We are not related. Our mother adopted us when we were four because she lost her twins four years before that. She wanted a replacement. We are not related. We grew up together, yes. We did grow up as twins, also yes. However, is it truly immoral to fall in love with someone you grew up with just because a deranged, abusive woman thought she was replacing the kids she lost?” I take my knife in my hand and pass it over the skin on his chest. He twitches under contact with the metal blade.

“I didn’t know,” he admits.

“No one did. But that doesn’t change what you took from us.” I raise my voice but keep my tone steady. I don’t want him to know how much this cost me. “She almost died. I almost lost her.”

“I am sorry.” He lies. Because he is not sorry. And what would an apology fix? Would it bring our baby back? Would it bring back the girl I used to love? Would it bring back the man I was before I had to kill my own mother to save my sister?

I grab his cock, and his eyes grow wide in confusion.

I bring the knife closer, and it’s the knife Sage bought me.

The one I haven’t yet used tonight. I was saving it for this.

I start sawing off his penis while Kyle screams and struggles to get away from the knife, but I hold him steady by his balls as I continue my work.

It’s harder to detach the damn thing from his body than I expected.

A few minutes too long before I see it fall to the ground.

I smile at the screaming man in front of me.

“It was nice catching up with you, Kyle. I do have to find my sister, though.” I kneel down and grab one of his socks.

I force it into his open mouth, muffling his scream, before I secure it with a new strip of tape.

The bathtub is already being stained red with blood, and I smile seeing my handiwork.

Sage will love my creativity when I tell her what I did. My sister will be proud of me.

I open the door to leave, but before I do, I turn back to Kyle.

“I’m sorry, too, you know. Maybe my apology will glue your dick back on, or maybe an apology isn’t enough, and sometimes you have to chop someone’s cock off because that’s the only thing he loves more than himself.

Goodbye, Kyle. I hope they find you before you bleed out. ”

With that, I step out of the bathroom and close the door. I walk to the bedroom next to it and grab the control for the stereo. I turn it on to the highest volume I can, masking Kyle’s muffled screams. Now it’s time to find Sage.
