Chapter 35 Tessa #4

A frustrated growl sounded, her power flaring and snapping out at him. Because now she was more than irritated. She got it. He was pissed, but was he really going to leave her like this? To prove a godsdamn point? He wouldn’t… Would he?

“Are you angry, temptress?” he taunted, his black flames sinking into her light. She ground her teeth, fighting back, but the fact remained her reserves were lagging after this morning, while theirs…

“How?” she demanded, narrowing her eyes as she yanked on her power again. His flames only sank in more, and she grimaced at the dominance.

“We drank rations,” he said with a mocking smile.

“You did what?”

“We drank rations,” he repeated, once again casually stroking his cock while Theon still had an arm wrapped around her waist, holding her in place.

“You brought me here, tricked me into expending a large amount of my magic, and then drank Fae blood to restore your own so you could overpower me?” she seethed.

Luka sprang forward, gripping her face in one large hand at the same time Theon sank his teeth into the tender spot between her neck and shoulder.

“We did, and look at you right now. Easily overpowered,” Luka sneered.

“I could draw from Theon,” she snarled in return.

“And what if we weren’t here?”

“What?”

“What if you went to another kingdom on a mission you didn’t tell us about?

What if there had been more than a powerless seraph waiting for you?

What if you had expended your magic, only to find it a godsdamn trap, and you had no one to draw from?

No power left to kill and restore your magic?

What if Dex was waiting for you? Rordan?

What if fucking Achaz had found his way here, and you had nothing left, Tessa? What then?” Luka demanded.

And oh gods.

That was all she could think as the true weight of understanding settled over her. As she felt not only their fury over her actions, but their fear.

He’d give her the freedom to do what she wanted; he only asked that she trust him to be at her side.

Trust them not to force her to make herself smaller.

Trust them to let her be wild and untamed.

Light and dark. Trust them to let her run and be what she was always meant to be.

Trust them to be at her side to catch her in the hard times.

They belonged to her, and she belonged to them.

A balance that existed after all.

She held his harsh gaze, the words crystal clear this time when she said, “I understand. I’m sorry.”

“Godsdamn right you are,” he growled.

Then he was grabbing her, her legs wrapping around his waist as he hoisted her up.

His mouth slammed to hers, all teeth and dominance, and it wasn’t until she was being dropped to a bed that she realized he’d moved.

Carried her into his bedroom and climbed onto the bed, pushing her knees wide, and there was nothing gentle about it. Not this time.

Luka slid into her with one sharp thrust, and she cried out, but Theon was there, swallowing the sound with his mouth as he kissed her deeply. Thoroughly. Possessively.

“Ours,” he snarled onto her lips.

And she nodded frantically, Luka pounding into her.

“Words,” Theon snapped.

“Yours,” she gasped, already back at the edge.

His mouth moved to her cheek, her jaw. Down her throat, nipping and biting as Luka’s hands slid under her ass, tilting her hips up and allowing him to go deeper. Harder.

Theon was at her breasts now, plucking at one nipple while sucking on the other, and she was everything and nothing. There were too many sensations and not enough, and she couldn’t have sorted her emotions if she’d wanted to.

And she didn’t.

She just wanted to feel them. All of them. In every piece of her. As if this was what she’d been waiting for her entire existence. For them to find her.

“If another lie passes those lips when speaking to us—” Luka grunted, each word a labored pant as he drove into her again and again.

“It won’t,” she gasped, her hands grasping for something, anything. Theon shifted, nudging closer, and she found his cock, wrapping her fingers around it and stroking.

A groan came from him, and he started thrusting into her hand, his lips still roving. Tongue still licking.

“And no more fucking secrets,” Luka snarled.

She nodded frantically, Theon still sucking and biting at her nipple, focused on his task. “I swear it,” she gasped. “Please, Luka. Theon. Please.”

Theon’s hand snaked down her torso, his fingers finding her clit and circling as Luka shifted, hitting the spot that made her seize up. She tumbled into bliss, shuddering and tensing and clenching as Theon kissed her and Luka continued to thrust, cursing.

She went lax against the bed, trying to catch her breath as Luka pumped into her a few more times. But then he pulled out, and she started as Theon sat back on his heels.

“What are you…”

She trailed off when they both took themselves in hand, fists moving frantically.

“Help him out, baby girl,” Luka ordered, the words a low rumble as he stroked and squeezed his cock, slick with her own orgasm.

She glanced at Theon. He was already moving towards her, seeking her mouth again, and she didn’t care. Luka liked to watch, and she liked to have control over Theon. So she swirled her tongue around his crown, flicking it on the underside.

“Oh, fuck,” Luka growled. “Just like that, baby girl. Keep that bratty mouth occupied.”

“So fucking beautiful with my cock in your mouth,” Theon ground out, his fingers gently stroking her brow, her cheek, her jaw. “So godsdamn perfect. I always knew you were meant to be mine.”

Luka cursed again, and she felt the hot ropes hit her stomach as he came.

Seconds later, Theon was pulling from her lips and doing the same.

She should care, should hate every part of this, but she didn’t.

Because just like they knew what she needed, she knew what they needed.

Two possessive, dominant beings. They needed to mark what was theirs.

Remind her. Prove to themselves. See it with their own eyes.

They had both sat back on their heels, bodies glistening with perspiration and chests heaving as they came down from the intensity of what had just happened.

Tessa didn’t know who to look at, her gaze bouncing between them, so she let her eyes fall closed, basking in all that they were.

For the first time in her entire existence, she felt completely at peace.

Completely balanced.

She needed to shower again.

“We all do,” Luka grumbled, the bed shifting, and her eyes flew open.

“What?” she asked, watching him climb off the bed.

“Need to shower again. That’s what you said.”

Her eyes narrowed. I didn’t say that.

Theon lurched forward, cupping her cheek and turning her head to him. “Do it again,” he mouthed.

If you make me eat a salad after all that, I’m never doing it again, she sent down the bond.

“Burger and fries it is, little storm,” he murmured right before he kissed her. Then another hand was turning her the other way, and her lips found Luka’s.

This thing between the three of them finally repaired and as it should be.

“Go turn the shower on,” Theon told Luka, scooping Tessa into his arms. “Let’s get you cleaned up, tempest.”

Hours later, they were sitting in the living room.

Luka had Traveled to Rockmoor, grabbing them a pizza when she asked for that rather than a burger, and she was on the sofa, nestled into Theon’s side and happily eating her third slice.

He was scrolling through emails on his phone, and that muscle in his jaw ticked every once in a while.

She couldn’t decide if it was from the emails or from her eating pizza.

“Here, baby girl,” Luka said, handing her a glass of wine before setting a tumbler of liquor down for Theon.

“Thanks,” Theon muttered as Luka grabbed a slice of pizza and sat on her other side.

This was still…something, and Tessa idly wondered if she’d ever get used to it.

“It will become normal soon enough,” Luka said.

She sighed. She needed to get back into the habit of blocking the bond so they didn’t hear her every godsdamn thought.

Theon suddenly stiffened beside them, and they both paused, looking at him expectantly.

“What is it?” Luka asked.

“I’ve been summoned by the rulers. To update them on the status of my Lordship tasks,” Theon said slowly.

Tessa set her pizza down, wiping her fingers as she shifted to face him, leaning back against Luka. She could tell by the look on his face he had more to say.

“And?” she prompted.

He hesitated before he ventured, “I’ve been working on a plan, but we don’t do it if you don’t want to.”

“Me?” she asked, brows arching in surprise.

He nodded. “Yes, you. Not just for this, but for Dagian. Axel. Us. Everything.”

Silence hung in the air as Tessa and Luka stared at him.

“I’ve been working it out for weeks,” he added, studying them just as carefully. “But I can come up with something else if you don’t want to do it.”

Finally, Tessa said, “Tell us everything.”
