Chapter Seven #2

Hogan’s chest ached with something deeper than lust. This is mine.

He’s mine. The thought burned through him as he dropped the towel and climbed onto the bed.

He leaned over, pressing his forehead to Kai’s for a breath.

“I don’t remember everything,” he whispered, “but I remember how this feels. How you feel. And I’m not letting it go again. ”

Then he kissed him once more, slow and devastating, before everything else fell away.

Kai chuckled against his mouth, breathless. “You boss me around a lot, you know that?”

“Yeah,” Hogan muttered, lips brushing his jaw. “And you love it.”

Kai smirked, dragging his nails lightly down Hogan’s back. “Always did. Still doesn’t mean I’m letting you have all the fun.”

Hogan groaned when Kai rolled his hips upward, hard and insistent, and bit out a laugh. “Smart-ass. You always were trouble.”

“Guess that makes us even,” Kai shot back, catching Hogan’s mouth again. Their kiss broke into laughter when Hogan slipped on the sheet, nearly losing his balance. He swore, then laughed, too, and Kai pulled him down hard against his chest.

Hogan put his mouth against the sensitive skin of Kai’s neck, loving the way he arched his head, giving him more room—an offer he made the most of.

He nuzzled, kissed, bit, and sucked against him until Kai writhed beneath him.

Then he was on the move, kissing his way down the lithe strength of him, only to pause when he reached the gauze covering the knife wounds on his side—a stark reminder that he had almost lost him.

“This is a fucking abomination,” he growled, then leaned in to press two kisses to the wounds, savoring the sharp inhalation Kai gave at the act. His man was a romantic, and Hogan had a feeling he always had been.

“Are you going anywhere with this?” Kai asked, sounding a little breathless. “Or are you just hanging out there for a while?”

Romantic, but impatient.

Hogan threw him his most arrogant smile, and from the roll of Kai’s eyes, it was one he had seen before—perhaps many times. “Why don’t you reach out and hold on to the edge of the bed.”

“And why would I need to do that?” Kai asked in his haughtiest tone, making Hogan’s body twitch in anticipation.

“Because,” Hogan said as he continued moving down the bed, “I am about to rock your world.”

And with that, he took Kai to the back of his throat, reveling in the shout of his name from Kai’s lips and the way the man’s hips lifted off the mattress helplessly.

He reached down to play with Kai’s balls as he continued, alternating between swirling his tongue around the tip, then pushing down to the root, then dragging the flat of his tongue along the sensitive underside.

In a shorter time than he had wanted, Kai was trembling against the mattress, calling his name, cursing him in the next breath, and from the way his cock was swelling in Hogan’s mouth, he knew his man was moments away from release.

A sudden plan came to mind, and Hogan reached for the tube of lube, clicking it open, and then using it to coat his fingers.

He slid that hand down past Kai’s balls and started to press against the muscled ring of his ass.

Hogan loved the tremble that rocked through Kai at the move, and not wanting to finish this part too soon, he pulled back from his oral ministrations.

“Goddamn you, Ace,” Kai growled. “Fucking finish me.”

Hogan pulled off with a pop and a grin. “Not yet, Rip. I’m not done with you.”

He saw a flicker of surprise and then joy cross Kai’s face, and he would think about the why of that later. For now, he pressed his fingers against that ring of muscle once more and didn’t stop until he had entry.

“Fuck, you’re tight, lover,” Hogan moaned, as he worked to add a second and then a third finger, stretching Kai until he could move easily within him. He scissored his fingers, gently working him open for what was to come.

“It—it’s been a while for me,” Kai admitted, his voice shaking.

Hogan locked his gaze with Kai’s. “How long?”

Kai smiled, reaching out to palm Hogan’s cheek. “Since you, baby. You may not have remembered me, but I sure as hell remembered you. I don’t expect that you’ve been celibate these past three years as well. Like I said, you—”

“I haven’t been with anyone since the accident,” Hogan admitted, suddenly feeling very vulnerable.

Kai’s eyes widened in shock, and they lay like that for a moment.

“Believe me, love, please. My mind may not have remembered you, but my body sure as fuck knew who I belonged to. I found absolutely no one attractive until that day I saw you on the screen in the conference room.”

“Yeah?” Kai asked softly.

“Hell, yeah.” Hogan admitted. “It’s embarrassing as hell getting hard in a room full of your brothers, but that’s exactly what happened.”

Kai laughed. “I find that funny and adorable at the same time. Come on, baby, keep rocking my world, then fuck me like you mean it.”

A stir of memory at those words had Hogan smiling. “You’ve said that to me before, haven’t you?”

“Oh, yeah,” Kai nodded enthusiastically. “And you would do exactly as I asked.”

Hogan moved his fingers again, stretching his lover, but also looking for—his finger slid against a nub inside that had Kai crying out.

Got it! He placed his mouth back on Kai and tapped his prostate in a syncopated rhythm that had Kai yelling and writhing on the bed in ecstasy before every muscle in his body tightened and he exploded in Hogan’s mouth.

The salty essence that was unique to his man filled his mouth, stream after stream, as Kai’s release rolled through him again and again.

He kept up his ministrations until Kai collapsed, spent against the bed.

Then he placed one more kiss against the sensitive head of his cock and pulled back.

“Fuck, Kai,” Hogan growled as he grabbed the lube once more to prepare himself to take his lover. “That was the hottest fucking thing I have ever experienced in my life. This is going to go quick.”

Then Hogan placed the head of his cock against Kai’s entrance, pulling his knees up and back to give him room to move, and with a few slow rolls of his hips he slid halfway inside his lover.

Waiting until the shocked look of discomfort morphed into pleasure, he then pushed deeper until he was fully seated.

“You have me, love,” he murmured, and loved the happy pleasure that bloomed on Kai’s face. “Every inch.”

“Now, Hogan, make me yours again.”

And Hogan did exactly that. He kept his thrusts measured at first, but in less than a minute he was out of control, slamming into Kai as the maelstrom of joy that was his approaching orgasm drew down on him like a storm.

He was so lost in the magical, perfect feeling of loving his man that he missed the first signs of his own release.

When it slammed into him with the force of a freight train, he could only cry out Kai’s name and jerk inside him, slamming home as he gave Kai every drop he had to give, before collapsing against him.

Ten minutes or three days later—he wasn’t sure which because his mind had short-circuited and he had lost track of time—he realized he had collapsed against Kai, who had wrapped his own arms around Hogan’s back.

Hogan pulled back. “Shit, love, did I hurt you? Are your staples bothering you?”

Kai gave him a sweet and tender smile. “You hurt me in the best possible way, and what fucking staples?”

Hogan laughed breathlessly and moved to roll off Kai.

They both groaned at the feel of him slipping semi-erect from Kai’s body.

He stood on shaky legs to grab the towel he used after his shower, to help clean them both off, before grabbing a hot washcloth to do it properly.

Then he was climbing back into bed with Kai and wrapping himself securely around him. Pulling his back into his chest.

“I do love you,” Hogan murmured, feeling Kai jolt gently against him. “I promise you, Kai. I may not remember loving you before my injury, but I can tell you that without a doubt I have fallen in love with you now.”

Kai looked over his shoulder at him, searching his face for a moment, then nodded. “I know you do, baby. I love you, too.”

For a long moment they just breathed together, mouths brushing, laughter cooling into something warmer, steadier. Hogan cupped Kai’s face to gently turn him toward him, kissing him softer now. “I’ve got you,” he murmured. “This time, I’ve really got you.”

Kai’s voice was rough but certain. “Then don’t let go.”

They moved together again, urgency sparking but threaded with laughter—hands tangling, teasing words breaking between kisses, each touch laced with relief and promise.

Outside, the rain fell harder, a shield against the world, while inside their van, it was just the two of them finding their way back to each other, one kiss, one touch, one laugh at a time.
