Chapter 12
Savannah
A s my eyes blink open , I stare up at the ceiling of my nest. Okay, so it’s the closet, but still.
Something is different. My nose twitches as I take a deep breath, and I moan. My pussy floods with something wet. Slick. So much slick.
Chamomile, lavender, sandalwood, and leather mingle together, creating the most intoxicating smell. My nipples tighten as my pussy clenches.
Looking around, the sources of the scents are nowhere to be found.
My heart starts racing, panic setting in. Did they leave me?
Scrambling out of my nest, I look around my room and in the bathroom, but find nothing. I don’t bother getting dressed as I race downstairs.
Voices lead me to the kitchen, and when I hear Caleb and Jake, I slide to a stop.
Placing my hand over my racing heart, I sag against the wall in relief. They didn’t leave.
“You okay, Savvy?” Cobra asks.
I spin around and give him a big smile. “Always.” I wink.
“So, you got yourself some Alphas, huh?” He smirks. “They’re in for the ride of their lives.”
I bite my lip and grin wider. “That's the plan.”
He snorts out a laugh, shaking his head. “I’m happy for you, Savvy. You deserve it.”
My smile drops. “I do?”
“After everything you’ve been through, having some Alphas to love, spoil, and worship you is just what you need.”
“You know what?” I nod my head. “You're right. And that’s what I’m gonna get.”
Spinning around on my heel, I stride into the kitchen. “Good morning,” I say, overly cheery.
The whole room goes silent as I walk over to Caleb and Jake. “Boy, am I glad to see you two here.” I pat their shoulders, trying to ignore the fact I want to rub myself all over them like a cat in heat, and head over to the fridge.
“You are?” Caleb asks, a cocky tone to his words. “Why’s that?”
“I was afraid you left.” I bend down, grabbing a few things from the fridge. “And that wouldn’t have been good for anyone.”
“Why?” Jake asks as I stand up and peek over at him.
“Because then I’d have to hunt you down and kill you for thinking you could leave me.” I snort out a laugh. “And that would just be too messy.”
Jake’s face pales while Caleb lets out a pleasurable groan.
“Savvy, be nice. You're scaring the poor Alphas.” Lucy laughs.
“Not that one,” Duchess corrects, pointing to her brother. “I think he just came in his pants.” She gags.
I look at Lucy, and we both burst into giggles.
Placing the items on the counter, I walk over to Jake. He’s so tall and handsome, slim and perfect. The longer I look, the more my pussy drips.
I wonder how long I can go before I’m bent over, begging them to fuck me. There are a few videos I’ve watched that I’d love to recreate with my Alphas. First, I need to get the other two on board. The Beta, Leroy, might not be my scent match, but he’s too yummy to let go, so I’m keeping him, too.
Stepping into Jake, I have to tilt my head back in order to see his face. He looks down at me, lids heavy. He swallows hard, and I can smell his Alpha pheromones coming off him in waves. It does nothing to help the situation between my legs.
Licking my lips, I slip my hand under his hoodie and run my hand up his chest. He sucks in a breath, and I love how he shudders under my touch; that he’s so affected by me his whole body is reacting. I grin to myself knowing his cock has to be hard.
Needing to check for myself, I drop my eyes and use my other hand to cup him. Yup, he’s hard.
His breathing comes out in heavy pants as my fingers brush against his skin.
My eyes slowly trail up to his, finding him barely hanging on. Oh, to see an Alpha at my mercy like this is everything I didn’t know I needed.
It’s not that I won't be submissive for my Alphas. Treat me right, and I’ll get down on my knees like a good girl. Disrespect me, and I cut their cocks off. Simple as that.
But to see Jake tremble from just my touch is everything.
“Don’t worry,” I whisper, a smile curving my lips. “I won’t hurt you.” I tilt my head to the side. “Unless you're a good boy and ask me real nicely.” Giving his cock a squeeze, he sucks in a breath and groans, eyes slamming shut.
I feel his cock pulsing against my hand and my eyes widen. Did I just make him.... Did he just....? No fucking way.
His body tenses, nostrils flaring. “I need a moment.” His voice cracks as he takes a step back before spinning around and practically tripping over his feet to get away.
“Hey,” Caleb protests. “That's not fair. Why does he get to cum and I don’t?”
“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Duchess curses. “Go, Savvy, go home with your Alphas, talk everything out. See what happens next. I’ll give you a few days off. But please, take this idiot away from me.”
“Don’t call my Alpha an idiot,” I huff.
“He’s my brother. I can call him what I want.” Duchess raises a brow.
I take a step forward, knowing I’m playing with fire, but I don’t like the way she’s talking about my Alpha, brother or not. I cock my head to the side. “Would you like it if I called Lucy an idiot and meant it?” Her eyes darken, and I smirk. “Exactly. Respect, bestie. You taught it to me.”
“Damn it,” she huffs out. “Okay, fine, you got me there.” She spins to face her brother. “Your Omega saved you this time, but she won’t always be around.”
“Yes, I will.” I blink. “They’re not allowed to breathe without me.”
“Savvy, that's a little intense.” Lucy laughs.
“Fuck no, it’s not.” Caleb steps up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. My breath hitches, and I instantly melt into his arms. My heart pounds against my chest, begging to burst free while my body lights up like fireworks. I remember when I first got here and overheard Duchess talking to Lucy. I guess I was a little more touchy-feely than they were used to, and Lucy told her I was something called touched-starved?
They didn’t ask me to stop, if anything I was getting more hugs and cuddles from the both of them and I loved it.
I don’t like it when people touch me to hurt me, but this? I can’t get enough of this.
Snuggling into his arms, he tucks his face into my neck and kisses me. I close my eyes, feeling them sting. Am I going to cry? What the fuck is wrong with me?
“Don’t worry, baby. I’m not going anywhere. You can cuff me to you, the bed, in a basement for all you want, and I’d go willingly. I’m yours to command, I want to serve. Say the word, and it’s yours,” Caleb mumbles, brushing his lips against my throat.
Yup, I’m three seconds from crying.
Thankfully, Jake walks back in. “Sorry about that.” My eyes open to find his face beet red. “Ahh, I just needed to use the bathroom.”
“I bet you did.” Caleb chuckles. “You good, buddy?”
Jake scowls at him and flips him off, making Caleb laugh harder.
“Don’t be embarrassed. I find it hot.” I grin. “Don’t worry, I’m sure the moment one of you touches me like that, I’ll be slicking all over your hands.” I shrug like it’s no big deal. I mean, it’s not a lie. These men have me so worked up. I’ve never felt like this before. It’s all new and exciting.
I can’t wait to cum around one of their cocks, to have them fill me up with their cum. To look at me like I’m something precious that needs to be cherished, not trash to be used and tossed away.
Corbin’s words never really bothered me because I didn’t know any better. Not until I saw the way Duchess and Lucy were together. I thought it was only in the movies I watched, but it’s real. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
I want that.
And I plan on getting it. From my pack.
I won’t force them to be with me, I’m better than that—I deserve better than that.
If they don’t want to be my happily ever after, I’ll find someone else who will.
Sadly, I’d have to kill them first because there's no way in hell I’d allow them to be with anyone else, knowing they’re meant to be mine.
But, so far, I don’t think I’ll have to go that route. Although Leroy and Walker are still to be determined. It would be a shame because they are both so pretty to look at.
“Yeah, I’m out.” Duchess sighs heavily. “Be good, Savvy.”
I snort a laugh. “You do know who you're talking to, right?” I call out as she walks out of the kitchen.
“Okay, fine, no killing people who don’t deserve it. If you do, be smart about it,” she calls back.
“Define deserve!” I cup my hand around my mouth and shout.
She doesn’t answer, and I grin, spinning around to face my Alphas. My Alphas. Life sure is crazy.
“So.” I clap my hands. “What do you wanna do now?”
Caleb and Jake look at one another before Caleb turns to me. “A lot has happened, and it hasn’t even been a full twenty-four hours. Don’t get me wrong, all of it is amazing.” He grins. “But there’s still a lot to talk about. How about you pack a bag and come stay at our place for a few days. We can talk, get to know one another a bit more, and see where we go from there.”
I frown. “Talk? Why do we need to talk?” I tilt my head to the side. “You’re my Alphas, my scent matches. I’m your Omega. We’re together now. Right?”
Isn’t that how it goes? It’s what I’ve seen in the movies: they meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after. I know it doesn’t always work out that way, but I don’t see any reason why it can’t with us.
“Are you second-guessing what I do?” I ask, narrowing my eyes. “Because it’s a non-negotiable. I have a plan, and I’m sticking to it, no matter how long it takes. I will also continue to work for Duchess. I won’t be quitting my job to be a stay-at-home housewife. I’d go crazy.”
Caleb gives me a sly grin. “You mean, you’re able to get more crazy than you already are?”
I bite my lip, my belly filling with butterflies. “Trust me, big guy, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
He groans, grabbing at his dick. “Talk dirty to me, baby.”
Jake snorts a laugh. “Great, there's two of you. You're going to drive us all crazy, I just know it.”
“That's okay.” I take Jake’s hand, lacing my fingers with his. He looks down at me, a softness filling his eyes. “We can all be crazy together. It’s not all that bad.”
His lips quirk up. “Sounds like fun.”
My eyes widen in excitement. “It is! There’s never a dull moment.”
He chuckles, pulling me against him, his arms wrapping around me. I whimper, burying my face into his chest and inhaling deeply, his smell settling something inside my soul.
“I’ve missed you so fucking much,” he whispers, his voice cracking.
I’m confused for a moment, about to tell him I was only upstairs, but then I remember. He knows the old me. They all do.
I want to know more about that, but I’m not going to ask right now.
“I’m here,” I murmur, hugging him tighter.
“Yeah,” he croaks. “You are, aren’t you?”
Guilt twinges in my stomach at the fact that I don’t remember him. I’ve never really cared about remembering my past. If it happened, awesome; if not, I wasn’t going to let it stop me from living my life.
But at this moment, I want nothing more than to remember this man. To remember all the time we spent together. I’ve never felt more robbed of the life I was supposed to have than I do right in this moment.
But until I remember—and that is if I ever do—I plan on making new memories with him. Starting today.
T he ride to their house wasn’t too long. I’d say give or take seven songs. Would have been five if it wasn’t for traffic.
“Are we there yet?” I sigh, wiggling in my seat. “I really gotta pee.”
This is what I get for not going before we left. I knew better after downing those three cups of coffee. I was just too eager to get my things together and go over to their house. I want to see the rest of my pack, to see where they live. Duchess stopped me before I left and told me to give the other two some time, that their lives are complicated, and it might not be as easy to accept such a big change right now.
When I asked what she was talking about, she told me it wasn’t her place to say.
I didn’t like that answer, but I know better than to argue with her.
“We’re here,” Caleb confirms, pulling up to a gate.
Leaning over, I peek out the window, and my eyes light up when I see the house down the path. “Wow. This is your place?”
“Yup,” Jake says. “Nothing too crazy, but with all of our combined incomes, we were able to get a nice, safe place to live.”
“So what do you all do again?” I ask as we pull through the gate.
“I’m a cop.” Caleb grins in the rearview mirror. “Jake is an elementary school teacher.”
“You work with kids?” My heart clenches. I love kids. Adore them. Any time I see one when I’m out, I just want to snatch them up and hug them. Duchess says that's a no-no, so I keep my distance. But it’s not fair, they’re so cute and silly.
Kids I can do, it’s seeing babies that makes me want to break down. I can’t. I won’t. So I avoid them. Not that I hate babies, but, well, you know.
“Leroy used to be in the military, then he worked as a Beta bodyguard at a school not too far from here called Calling Wood. Now he’s retired.”
“Ahh, that explains the strong, silent type.” I nod my head. “And let me guess, Walker is a stripper.”
Jake makes a choking sound as Caleb bursts into laughter, pulling the car to a stop in front of the house.
“What?” Jake asks in confusion, swinging his gaze over to me. “No, he’s not. What makes you think that?”
I shrug. “Have you seen the man? I know I’d love to see him strip.” I bite my lip. “You think he’d at least do it for me? Strip, I mean.”
“You want a lap dance?” Caleb gives me a smouldering look. “I’ll dance for you?”
“Really?” I ask, perking up. I’d very much like to see him strip for me, too. I’ve been to a strip club before, and the men were very nice to look at. I was there to kill their boss, but I made time to enjoy their entertainment.
“Fuck, I’d do anything for you, baby. Wanna wear a strap-on and fuck me, I’d be down for that too.”
The car fills with mine and Caleb’s thick arousal as images pop into my head, making Jake groan. He gets out of the car and takes in deep breaths of fresh air. I get out after him and do the same.
“It’s amazing, isn’t it?” I sigh happily, loving the crisp, fresh air.
“What is?” Jake asks and I can hear Caleb getting out of the car, closing the door behind him.
“Fresh air.” I smile. “When I first arrived at Salvation, I spent weeks up on the roof, sleeping in the fresh air, under the night sky. I love the outdoors. I’d be a wild one, free in the forest if I could. No cages, no walls, nothing confining me again.” I close my eyes and let my head fall back, the warm sun soaking into my face.
When no one says anything, I open my eyes to find them watching me. “What?” I narrow my eyes. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Jake clears his throat, but I see the emotion in his eyes. What did I say wrong?
“Didn’t you say you had to pee?”
“Right.” My eyes widen, the feeling even stronger now.
We head to the front door and Caleb opens it. “Bathroom is up the stairs, third door on the right. The one down here is getting renovated. When you're done, just meet us through there.” He points to a door to the left. “That's the kitchen. The others will be there and we can talk.”
“Okay,” I say, rushing inside and up the stairs, not taking the time to take in my surroundings. I really am about to piss myself if I don’t get to a bathroom.
I find the right room and quickly do my business, washing my hands when I’m done.
As I exit the bathroom, ready to head back downstairs, I hear cooing.
My body stiffens, feet freezing in place. Ears perking up, I listen for the sound again.
Is that what I think it is?
As if I’m on autopilot, I spin around on my heel and walk down the hallway in the opposite direction I’m supposed to be going.
The sound gets louder and I stop in front of a door. It’s cracked, so I push it open.
My heart races when I see it’s a baby's nursery. The whole thing is covered in pink, girly everything.
With my heart threatening to burst out of my chest and my stomach a twisted mess, I slowly creep towards the crib on the other side of the room.
And there she is, a sweet little baby lying in the crib. Her bright blue eyes look up at me, and I swear I see a little smile.
She makes more cute little baby sounds, her tiny fist reaching up towards me.
“Hi there,” my voice cracks as images of my sweet baby boy flash through my mind. He would be older than her, but only by a few months if I had to guess.
She’s so small. Would he have been this small?
I’m about to reach out and let her wrap her tiny hand around my finger when I hear something behind me.
Spinning around, I see a woman step into the room. Her eyes flash when she sees me, lips parting like she’s about to scream.
I’m over to her in seconds, my blade pressed against her throat.
Who the fuck is she? And what is she doing in my Alpha’s house? Do they already have an Omega?
Sniffing, I know right away she’s a Beta. Who the fuck is she?
If I don’t get answers right fucking now, someone is going to die.
