Chapter 6
Chapter Six
Viktor
I could smell her everywhere. Her scent clung to my body, and the taste of her exploded my senses every time I licked my lips, which was often. I couldn’t get her out of my damn mind, and now that I had been with her and felt how she gripped me so beautifully, I wasn’t sure I wanted to,
Which changed everything.
I threw one last glance at her windows. Still dark, but that wasn’t surprising. It was the middle of the night, and the sun wouldn’t be up for hours. Part of me hated leaving her, but there were things I needed to sort out.
Pressing things. Things that would change the course of both of our lives.
The car ran smoothly, making almost no noise as I pulled off her run-down street and onto the main road. The moment I did, I made the call. A sleepy-sounding Ivan answered on the third ring.
“Is the contract ready?” I asked as a way of greeting. There was a pregnant pause and what sounded like a yawn before he answered me. “ The one for the girl?” he asked sleepily. “Is that where you are? Have you been sampling the merchandise before it’s bought?” He gave a throaty chuckle.
“I need it changed,” I paused, my mind on how she had looked totally spent and glistening with sweat under me, and not on the road. I wanted more of that look. Not once a week, or a few times a month.
I wanted her in my bed, ready and willing whenever I wanted her.
“Into a marriage contract.”
There was a hissing inhale.
I knew he was about to try and talk me out of it, and if our roles were reversed, I would have done the same.
“Don’t say it,” I warned. “My mind is made up. And anyway, it’s good business. You know my father has been on my back to get married and settle down. This is the solution.”
Ivan didn’t say a word at first. “I’m pretty sure he meant to someone from a good family. You know, someone who comes with money and connections, not some nothing lyubovnista who—”
“Be careful how you talk about my fiancé Ivan,” I growled. “We are friends, but be careful.”
“Are you fucking serious, Viktor? I mean, she’s a pretty girl, but you can’t seriously want to marry her. Take her to bed. Keep her there as your official mistress—”
“Get the damn contract written up, and make sure it’s fair to her. I want it in my hands within the hour. I’ll be at the townhouse in thirty minutes.”
Reaching out, I went to end the call.
“She must be a good fucking lay, Viktor, that’s all I can say. But you’re the boss. I’ll have it written up now and meet you there.” Ivan was the one who ended the call.
The car lapsed into silence, and that suited me just fine. It gave me some time to think. In a way, Ivan was right. This was crazy, but after last night, after being with her, there were no other options for me.
My father would be a problem, but when the deed was done and Leah was officially my wife, there was nothing he could do about it.
Well, apart from having her killed, but I had a plan for that as well.
Leah would have her own security. Men who were loyal to me, and I would keep her a secret for as long as I could.
No one would think twice if I disappeared to my country estate for a few months with my new bride. I wouldn’t let anything happen to her, not outside of my bed anyway. When she was tied up on my mattress, all bets would be off.
I’d make her scream. And it would be like music to my ears. Especially if it was my name she was screaming.
An hour and a half later, I was showered, and with the thick Manila envelope nestled on the seat next to me, I was heading back towards Leah’s house.
There was more traffic now. Pulling into her street, I saw her friend shuffle down the road. His head was down, and he looked pretty hungover.
Good, he deserved his sore head for being that close to my woman. And Leah was mine.
Whether she signed the contract or not didn’t really matter now. She was mine.
I pulled the car up right in front of the apartment. I walked up to her door just as she swung it open.
For a second, she looked confused. “Viktor?”
I took her in at one glance. She was dressed and leaving the house already.
“Going somewhere, Printsessa?” Cocking my head to the side, I studied her with a lopsided smile on my face.
A flush tinged her cheeks pink. “I’m going to work.”
My smile slipped. “You’re lying to me. You have the next few days off.”
She looked taken aback. “I just got called in. Someone phoned in sick, and anyway,” she glared at me, “it’s none of your business what I do, Viktor.”
“Isn’t it?” Reaching out, I grabbed her bicep and squeezed. “See, I think it’s absolutely my business, Printsessa. I think everything you do is my business. ”
“Let go of me, Viktor,” she said through gritted teeth. “What happened,” she glanced around the street nervously, almost like she didn’t want anyone to hear or see us together, and lowered her voice, “what happened last night was a mistake. It was fun.”
“Fun?” My eyebrows shot up. I took a step forward, trying to force her backward, so we could have this conversation in private. “I think it was more than fun. Or do you need me to remind you just how fun you thought it was?”
Leah stopped dead. “I’m not denying I had a good time, Viktor, but it doesn’t change anything. I haven’t made up my mind yet, and I need to get to work. I’ll let you know what I decide.” She dismissed me, yanking her arm out of my arm and attempted to go around me.
Grabbing her around the waist, I lifted her bodily against me and walked into her home, kicking the door behind me.
“Viktor, get your fucking hands off—”
“Curse at me again, Leah,” I hissed in her ear, “and I’ll stuff your mouth so full of my cock that you can’t breathe, let alone talk. No wife of mine will have that sort of language.”
She stiffened. “What the fuck are you talking about? I’m not your wife, that wasn’t—”
Falling down on her threadbare couch, I pulled her over my knee. My hand came down hard on her ass three times in quick succession.
She squealed,“Viktor.” She wailed. “Stop that, it hurts.”
I squeezed hard enough that she sucked in a pained breath. “And it will continue to hurt until you learn to do as you are told.” Finally, I let go of her enough for her to scramble away. “Now sit down so we can discuss the particulars of the contract.”
In answer, she glared down at me. “I need to get to work,” she said firmly.
That was it, jumping up, I gripped her chin in my hand and squeezed.
Lowering my face to hers, I dropped my voice.
“And I just told you that I will not be disobeyed. I like your fire, Leah. But don’t ever doubt that I’ll extinguish it in a heartbeat if you keep going against me.
You WILL do as you are told. Now sit down and behave. ”
Her eyes went saucer round. There was actual fear in them .
And the monster in me liked it there.
“I—”
“Stop,” I snapped. “Do not finish that sentence because I can already tell it’s going to be something I don’t like. Sit down.” Letting go of her, she suddenly stumbled backwards.
But she didn’t sit down.
“Leah. I am warning you,” I growled out.
My temper had snapped. “Sit down now, otherwise,” a cruel smile spread across my face.
“A light spanking is the least of your worries. I have other ways of disciplining you.” My eyes locked on her face, specifically on her lips.
I’d mentioned fucking her mouth a few minutes ago, and now, it was all I could think about.
She had such a pretty mouth. It would look even more beautiful stretched wide and wrapped around my throbbing cock. Something must have shown on my face because her already wide eyes grew wider. She sat on the edge of the chair, her hands twisted in her lap and her eyes glued to the floor.
“Much better. Here, I am going to need you to read through this. It’s all straightforward. And very, very generous.” Silently, I passed over the envelope before taking my seat opposite her.
Leah’s fingers trembled as she opened the envelope and began to read the thick wad of papers. A tiny line appeared between her eyebrows, and it grew deeper the more she read. At the bottom of the first page, she lifted her eyes to me warily.
“You have a question?”
She swallowed so hard I saw her throat bob. “This is, Viktor, this is about marriage?”
“I am aware,” I answered her coolly.
“But when you first met me, you said it would be,” she glanced away and blushed, “a casual arrangement, and I thought after last night?” She trailed off,
Throwing my head back, I laughed. “You thought one night with you was worth over a hundred grand? Printsessa, your pussy is some of the best I have ever had, I won’t deny that, but it’s not worth this kind of money.
I’m sorry, but marriage is the only way now.
Keep reading, and you will see what I am offering you in return.
I’ll start to pack up some clothes for you.
” Standing, I looked around. “You won’t need a lot. I’ll get you everything you will need.”
Without another word, I left the room. I didn’t need to look back to know she was sitting exactly where I had left her.
Heading towards the room where I’d been balls deep in her only a few hours ago, I looked around.
She had pulled back the sheets, stripped the bed completely, and remade it with floral bed linen in the time I had been gone.
I didn’t know how I felt about that. Part of me wanted to keep her in sheets that were covered in my cum, so it was always coating her skin.
That’s how I would keep her, I told myself as I began to tug open drawers and yank our neatly folded clothes.
I didn’t look to see what I was packing because it really didn’t matter.
She wouldn’t be wearing any of this crap.
Hell, once the vows were said and we were on our “honeymoon,” I might not let her have clothes at all.
The idea of her spending all of her time completely nude was a nice one.
“Viktor?”
Turning, I stared at her. “Yes, Printsessa?” Heaving the half-full bag over my arm, I headed towards her.
“I…this is really messed up.”
Closing my hand around her arm, I pulled her after me and toward the door. If I stayed here a second longer, then she would be on her back and naked, and I would lose the rest of the day buried in her tight body.
I didn’t have time for that today.
“It’s one year, Leah,” I said through gritted teeth. “One year of being mine, and you will leave the marriage a wealthy woman. Don’t you have dreams? Ones that don’t involve a dive of an apartment and working all the hours under the sun?”
“Well, yes, I wanted to go back to college and—”
I opened the front door and pulled her with me toward the car. “Then I’ll have that added in. A full ride to any school you want. Get in.”
She slipped into the car like a zombie, all shaking hands and wide, unseeing eyes.
“And all it costs me is I have to pretend to be your wife for twelve months?” she asked quietly when I got in the other side.
“You won’t be pretending to be anything. You will be my wife.” I side-eyed her as I pulled out. “You will be my property, Leah. To do anything I want with.”
“Anything?”
Her voice was tiny, I couldn’t help it, I smiled. “Absolutely anything.” Reaching out, I squeezed her knee. “But don’t worry, I will explain my rules to you. Follow them, and the next year will be like a wet dream for you.”
“And if I don’t follow your rules?”
My eyes snapped to attention on the road. “Then things won’t be so pleasant.”
She didn’t say anything for the space of five whole seconds. Enough time for me to start the car, and then she took a deep, shaking breath.
“What do you mean, not so pleasant?” Twisting in her seat, she stared at me, and her eyes narrowed. I stifled back a sigh. Leah was about to argue with me. And while I liked her fire, this fighting me at every step was beginning to wear thin.
Leah was mine, and the sooner she realized that and submitted, the better. It would make things easier for her. I was a fair man, most of the time anyway, but as my wife, she couldn’t keep going up against me. I wouldn’t put up with it in private and in public.
My hands closed into fists.
Turning to face her, I speared her to the spot with narrowed eyes. “You know what I mean, Leah,” I kept my voice even, but that didn’t mean it was any less scary. “From this moment, you are mine.”
“Heart and soul?” She whispered, and I couldn’t help it.
I threw my head back and laughed. “I don’t have either of those things, Leah.
And honestly, I don’t care if you do. This is an arrangement, nothing more.
You will be my wife for twelve whole months.
I’ll tell you what to wear and how to act.
” I smiled at her, but it wasn’t a friendly smile.
“You won’t have one opinion that isn’t in tune with mine.
One year of your complete and utter submission, we will call it a marriage, but don’t get things twisted. I will own you.”
“Victor,” she said my name like a plea because she didn’t know that begging me didn’t make any difference. “I am not property. I am a person. With my own—”
I lashed out, catching her face between my fingers and squeezing.
“I don’t care, Leah. Look into my eyes and realize I don’t care about your feelings or your heart.
Or any of that romantic crap that is no doubt filling your head.
Your one job here is to look good on my arm and keep my balls empty. Is that understood?”
She understood, but she still opened her mouth to argue with me. It was getting exhausting.
“Your old life is over, Leah. You now belong to me, in fact.” Opening my door, I grabbed her bag and tossed it onto the sidewalk. The zip broke, and the strap of a pale pink bra flopped out.
“You won’t need any of this.” Slamming the door, I floored the accelerator and we burst down the street. “I’ll tell you what you need and when. Because, Leah, I own you now.”
