Chapter 12
Dallas kicked and fought as she laid over Pike’s lap.
“You’re only delaying the inevitable, Bitty.”
“I can’t do it,” Dallas cried.
“You can, baby. You’re just nervous.”
Her stomach rumbled again and she fought with much more vigor. She couldn’t poop in a diaper! She just couldn’t!
“Bitty Baby,” Pike soothed.
“It’s y-yucky!” she protested.
“It’s not yucky to me,” Pike argued. “Nothing about you would ever be yucky to Daddy.”
His words warmed Dallas’ rapidly beating heart, but still, she wasn’t sure she could dirty a diaper.
“Why do you think it’s yucky, baby?”
“I don’t think it’s yucky, but other people will!”
“What other people?”
“People who find out I’m a baby who poops in her diapers,” she wailed, kicking her feet again.
One sharp smack to the back of her leg, stopped her from fighting. She lay limply over Pike’s thighs, her stomach still rumbling loudly.
“Who is going to find out you use your diapers?”
“People,” she sobbed.
“What people?”
“People who see me!”
“How will they know you use your diapers?” Pike asked again. “Are you going to be wearing a shirt that says ‘I wear diapers’?”
“N-no.” Another sob shook her body.
“Are you going to be wearing only a diaper?” He gasped dramatically. “Are you going to be nakey?”
“N-no.” This time a hiccup erupted from her mouth.
“Hmmm, so how will people know?”
Dallas didn’t have an answer for Daddy.
“M-maybe my f-friends will know.”
“Oh, maybe. Paisley must be the worst friend in the world if she’s going to be mean to you about wearing diapers.”
“Paisley is a good friend!” Dallas argued, lifting her head up to look back at him.
“Oh, so it’s that darn Emily. I knew she was naughty!” he said, speaking about her best friend.
“Emily is my best friend!” she protested. “She’s not a naughty girl! Her’s the best girl!”
Her tummy churned with the need to poop and anger. Why was Daddy talking so badly about her friends?
“So what friends will be mean to you?”
“I… I dun know.”
“I don’t think any of them will be, Bitty. I think you’re just so nervous, your brain is making up reasons for you to be scared.”
Dallas thought over his words before laying limply over his lap again. “Maybe, Daddy.”
“Can you try for Daddy? I know it’s so hard, baby, but you’re such a brave girl.”
“C-can I have some privacy?”
Pike helped her off of his lap and held her hips “You can absolutely have some privacy, Bitty. How would you like Daddy to help you when you’re done?”
“What do you mean?” she asked.
“Do you want to come tell Daddy when you’re done or do you want Daddy to give you some time and then come get you?”
Dallas hadn’t thought about how hard it might be to tell Daddy she needed to be changed until Daddy had asked the question. She was glad he was so thoughtful as they both navigated this new path together.
“Can you come get me?” A cramp rolled through her tummy and she grabbed her belly.
“Okay, Bitty. Daddy will be back soon.” As soon as he left the big bedroom, she rushed over and slammed the door shut. She heard his chuckle through the door and she even grinned. Once she was sure he was away from the door, she covered her face with her hands and emptied her bowels.
She stood there awkwardly, scared to move until Daddy opened the door and peeked his head in a few minutes later. “All done?” he asked.
She nodded.
“Let’s go get your booty clean then.” He scooped her up and carried her into the attached nursery, laying her on the changing table.
He pulled off her diaper cover, unfastened the diaper, and quickly cleaned her up.
Dallas used her biggest, bravest, bits of courage to watch her Daddy as he got her into a new diaper.
He didn’t seem grossed out or disgusted with her even though she thought he might be, even if it was just a tiny bit.
“Daddy?” she asked.
“Yes, Bitty?”
“Is it yucky?”
Stopping what he was doing, he bent down and kissed her head. “No, baby, it’s not yucky at all.”
“Why?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. After feeling extra taken care of she didn’t think it was so yucky either, but she wanted to know why Daddy thought that too.
“Because with each area you submit to me, it provides us a chance to experience more intimacy.”
Dallas nodded. “I feel.. cherished,” she said.
“And I feel like a king because you’re trusting me with hard things. I know your submission is a beautiful gift and I promise I will never take it for granted, Bitty.”
She reached for him and he moved toward her head, allowing her to wrap her arms around him.
“I love you, Daddy.”
“I love you too, Little girl.”
“Stay right here for just a second, Bitty,” Pike said, setting Dallas down beside a wooden chair in the room with the indoor pool. He set her backpack in a chair before digging through and finding his phone. “Daddy wants to take a picture of you being a mermaid to send to the group chat.”
She giggled. “Okay, Daddy.”
Dallas did several poses with the large, Olympic-size pool behind her before Daddy finally claimed he had enough. After he sent the pictures, he took Teefs from her and set the zombie in the chair with the bag to “keep watch” although Dallas wasn’t sure Teefs would be a good security zombie.
“Hold my hand, Bitty.”
Dallas obediently took his hand and followed him to the entrance of the large pool. He helped her down the stairs into the water. Dallas couldn’t help but notice he was even more protective when she was in a younger headspace. She’d admit that she liked the extra attention.
The pool wasn’t crowded either day they’d visited the indoor pool, maybe because Montana was already chilly.
There was a Little girl playing with her mommy on the slides, but that was it.
Maybe not everyone liked the pool as much as she did.
She’d decided it was her favorite place to be at the Ranch.
The water was heated, thanks to the cooler weather.
There were small water slides that would drop you into the deeper end of the pool, but Daddy wouldn’t let her play in the deeper water because he said she was too little.
Dallas was surprised to find that it didn’t bother her when Daddy said things like that to her, it only made her feel more cherished.
Logically, they both knew the on-duty lifeguard wouldn’t let anything happen to her, but it was a nice headspace to be in.
“Alright, my little mermaid, swim away, but make sure you stay on the shallow end of the pool. Daddy’s right here,” he said, propping up on one side of the pool.
The pool was huge and even when she swam all the way to the wall across from Daddy, it still took her several minutes.
She wondered if Daddy would eventually get bored, but every time she swam back to him, he was smiling at her.
“You’re a great swimmer, Bitty. Daddy’s so proud of you.”
Heat rushed to her cheeks. “Thank you, Daddy.”
“When you get done swimming, Daddy put some water toys in your bag. You can get them out and play with them.”
“Water toys!” Dallas exclaimed.
“I saw them today and thought my best girl might like them for a surprise. The mermaid is weighted, and she will swim to the bottom of the pool.”
“Thank you, Daddy!”
“Do you want to get them now?”
“Yas, huh!”
Pike took her hand and led her back to the steps of the pool. “Use your walking feet and go get them out of your bag.”
The area around the pool was non-slip, but Dallas knew Daddy didn’t care. He still wanted her to be safe. She climbed the stairs and slowly walked over to the chair holding her bag.
“Good girl, Bitty Baby.”
Joy bubbled in her heart when she located the mermaid, fishie, octopus, starfish, and treasure chest.
“I love them, Daddy!”
“I’m glad, babygirl. The pouch they’re in is water safe, so you can bring it all into the water.”
Dallas held the toys proudly. She gave Teefs a kiss before turning to walk back toward Daddy.
A Little boy ran screaming into the room. Dallas recognized him from the playroom yesterday. He and his friend had both been running and kept getting in trouble for it. It looked like maybe their consequences hadn’t stuck.
Dallas walked back to Daddy, the boy’s yelling made her nervous and she wanted to be back in her safe place.
“Boo!” The Little boy grabbed a towel and ran around with it over his head. He couldn’t see where he was going and before Dallas could even cry out, he slammed into her, knocking her to her side.
Her head smacked hard on the floor and Dallas cried out in pain before grabbing her face. “Ouchie! Ouchie!” Her pretty new mermaid had hit her just above the corner of her eye when she fell down.
“Dallas?” she heard Daddy call.
“I’m so sorry,” the Little boy cried, sounding much more adult now.
“Are you okay?” a woman asked, rushing over.
Daddy got to her next, placing his big hand on her chest once she’d turned over onto her back. “Stay still, baby, give yourself a minute,” he said, soothing her. “Take a deep breath for me.”
Trying to work through the fog in her head, she obeyed him. Air filled her lungs.
“Good girl, blow it out,” he instructed.
“Ouchie,” she cried.
“I know, Bitty. I know it’s ouchie. Can you tell Daddy what hurts the most?”
“She’s bleeding!” someone else said. Dallas thought it might be the Little girl from the slides.
“I’ve called the infirmary, and someone is on their way. Let’s try and keep her still until they get here. Back up please, everyone. Give her some space,” the lifeguard commanded.
“I’m so sorry I knocked you down,” the boy apologized.
“You know better than to run in here,” the woman scolded.
Dallas glared at him. She kinda hoped Teefs ate him for a snack.
“Ouchie!” she cried when Daddy moved her hand and pressed a towel to her forehead. Warmth trickled down her face and Dallas felt queasy knowing it was blood.
“I’m sorry, baby. I’m so sorry. Daddy is just trying to stop the bleeding.”
“Is it super bad, Daddy?”
“I can’t tell, Bitty, but Daddy’s right here and I’m not going to leave your side, not for a second.”
Her heart still pounded and her head still throbbed, but she felt better knowing her Daddy would keep his word.
