Chapter 19

WEDNESDAY

“I do not understand how this is happening!” Derek said, rubbing his hands over his beard.

“What’s wrong, Dada?” Dallas asked from his hip.

“I’m not sure, Bitty.” He patted her butt as he walked toward the frazzled Ranch Master.

“Everything, okay?” Pike asked.

Derek sighed and moved back from the family of ghosts Dallas loved so much.

Pike tried to stop his laughter before it erupted from his mouth, but he was too late. Once he started laughing, so did the Ranch Master and some of his staff.

The family of ghosts had been redecorated and now they all proudly wore breasts.

“Is this a prank?” Pike asked. He’d heard about a few of the pranks Rawhide Ranch was famous for, though up until now he thought the unicorns—which were ordinary horses with dildos fixed to their heads—was his favorite story.

“It seems that way. It started Monday night. Nanny J noticed them in the Littles’ Wing. Then yesterday morning they appeared in the cafeteria decor. By the afternoon they filled all of the bulletin boards and hallways, and now it seems they’ve made it to the main entrance way.

“Ghosts with breasts,” Erika said, shaking her head.

“No. Not breasts,” Dallas said from his hip. “Boo-bies,” she said before dissolving into giggles.

“Oh my gosh,” Pike said, laughing again. “Did you have anything to do with this Little girl?”

“Me? Why would you think that, Dada? Maybe it was Niki Rope and Danica.”

“Are those the ghosts that you’re hosting?” Derek asked her, the corners of his mouth twitching as he tried to hold back his laughter.

“Yes, Master Derek. They’re very naughty.”

“Hmmm, you know, come to think of it, all the ghostie guests haunting the Ranch seem to be naughty. Desmond, Sadie’s ghost, filled the ice maker with M&Ms.”

“So, so naughty,” Dallas agreed, batting her long eyelashes at the man.

Pike’s Daddy senses were definitely tingling, but the prank was harmless and honestly hilarious. He couldn’t wait to see how the rest of it unfolded and was just thankful that Dallas was fitting in and felt safe enough to be exploring her Little side even more.

He excused them to go eat breakfast and cracked up all over again when he saw boo-bies wherever he looked. There was no way just one Little had orchestrated this. It must have been a gaggle of Littles.

“Boo-bies.” Dallas giggled again.

Sadie and Hayleigh smiled and waved when they saw Dallas and Pike. They made their way to them, giggling the whole way over. “Did you see all the boobies?” Sadie asked, once they were in ear shot.

“Boo-bies,” Dallas corrected.

Sadie and Hayleigh looked at each other before dissolving into giggles. “Boo-bies!” they squealed.

“Did you do this, Dallas?” Sadie asked, her eyes full of excitement.

Dallas gasped and clutched her chest like she was very offended. “Oh my! I’m wounded you’d even think such a thing! Honored, but wounded.”

Pike almost snorted at her act. If he’d had any doubts, his Little girl’s overly dramatic denial to Sadie and Hayleigh convinced him his Daddy senses were still right on target. However, he chose not to challenge her at the moment.

“Well, whoever did it is brilliant. This is one of the funniest pranks ever.”

Dallas smiled proudly. “I think maybe they was very brilliant too.”

Oh, his cheeky little girl.

The bell rang and Sadie and Hayleigh rushed off to class giggling about Boo-bies all the way.

Daddy set Dallas on her feet and she held his pocket. “Oh, it looks like they have a spooky breakfast spread today, Bitty.”

Spooky?” she asked. Pike enjoyed the way her eyes lit up. She lifted to her tiptoes so she could see the buffet-style breakfast.

“I see pancakes shaped like spiders or pumpkins, green oatmeal, and candy corn fruit trays,” Pike said, listing off all the fun options.

“Oh! Can I has a spider and a pumpkin, Dada?”

“You sure can, babygirl. Both of those look very yummy,” he answered, adding food to both their plates.

They sat in their regular spots. Pike would miss their new routine once they were back home but was determined to adjust it to fit their schedules. He lifted the spoon to her mouth.

“Dada?” she asked, pushing the spoon away.

“Yes, Bitty?”

“Will it still be like this when we get home?”

“Like what, baby?”

“Like…” she paused as she thought. “Will I still be a little Little? Will we has time? Back home we’re so super busy. It would be hard to leave all of this dynamic at Rawhide. I don’t think I could do that.”

His heart stirred in sympathy. “We will absolutely have time, little one. The age you explored during our time at Rawhide Ranch seems to be a better fit for you than the six-year-old you had been playing at. After spending almost two weeks here, we’ve found what works best for us and we will one hundred percent be taking that home with us. ”

“Will you still has time to change me and feed me and rocks me?”

Pike lifted his hand and stroked her cheek gently. “I will, Bitty. Daddy loved those special moments with you way too much to leave them here at the Ranch.”

“I loved them too, Dada. All of them. Even the diapers.”

Dipping his head, Pike pressed a kiss to her mouth. “I’m glad you loved the things we explored even though they were hard at first.”

She nodded. “You was right. I needed to try the new fings.”

“Dada is often right,” he teased. Lifting the spoon back to her mouth, he fed her a bite of the chocolate spider pancake.

“Ohmygoodness,” she moaned, her eyes rolling back in her head.

“That’s another reason Dada could never go back to not feeding you. I might miss all those sexy sounds that come from your mouth when you taste something yummy. They are the same sounds you make when you’re in Dada’s bed.”

“Dada,” she whispered, covering her heating cheeks with her hands.

Daddy winked at her before feeding her another bite of pancake.

“Are you still worried about what your friends will think?” he asked after a moment of silence.

She reflected on his question as she chewed the yummy pancake.

“No, Dada. I’m not worried about what they will think anymore.

I learned lots since we’ve been at Rawhide and one of the things I’ve learned is that we all have different needs and nobody who matters is going to be upset or grossed out at the idea of people getting what they need—even if what they need is pacifiers, diapers, or bottles.

A good person wouldn’t be judgmental because someone is having their needs met. ”

Pike was so fucking proud of the growth Dallas had had in just ten days and for the umpteenth time, he found himself thankful for the Ranch and all that it offered to the community.

“You’re right, Bitty. Only an asshole would be mad at how someone was having their needs met.”

“Rights. And we dun want assholes in our life.”

Pike chuckled and booped her on the nose. “That’s right, Bitty. We’re not letting any assholes into our circle.”

After taking another bite, Dallas spoke up again. “I think my friends will be happy for me.”

“I think so too, Bitty. I think they’re going to be very happy you’re being true to yourself.”

“I’m happy I’m being true to myself too.

It makes my heart feel all better. Thank you for knowing something was wrong and helping me figure out what it was.

I’ve always loved our relationship and it feels even more special now cause we worked through a hard thing together.

I’m glad you made the decision to come to the Ranch and explore Baby Dallas, Dada. ”

Daddy took one of her hands in his and squeezed it reassuringly. “I love you so damn much, little girl.”

Dallas sat on Dada’s lap, her friends excited faces all filling his laptop screen.

“You look so happy!” Emily was the first one to speak.

“Thank you, I am happy,” Dallas answered.

“So you’re so super Little now right? So we can boss you around?” Paisley asked.

Dallas giggled. “Maybe.”

“Totally. I’m gonna make you clean my room!” Rae Rae said.

“I think we’re the same Little age,” Dallas laughed. “I don’t think you’re older than me.”

“Darn it,” she said, slamming her hand down on her desk. A gruff voice—one belonging to one of her Daddy Doms—scolded her.

“I’m so happy for you, Dallas. I’m glad you found what you needed. I’m sorry you were so nervous to tell us, but we only want you to be happy. If being in a younger headspace does that for you, then we fully support it,” Emily said.

“Yeah, we love you no matter what,” Paisley said.

“Yeah, even if you smelled bad and only ate veggies, you’d still be our bestie,” Rae Rae added.

Dallas lifted her hand and pressed it to the camera. All of the Little girls did too, signaling their solidarity as a group. “I love you all,” Dallas said tearfully.

“We love you too!” they echoed.
