Chapter Four

Asher

I watched Emma walk toward the door. Her color had been high since the minute we walked into the room. It became even higher as I described using the massage oil on her. I couldn’t help myself and didn’t even try.

She hadn’t looked uncomfortable, but she wasn’t relaxed either. As I talked to her, her breathing became choppy, and I didn’t miss the way she shifted from foot to foot. Oh, she tried to hide it.

Once back in our office, she went directly to her computer.

“I’m sorry if I embarrassed you. I wanted you to understand that everyone has fantasies, and that’s not a bad thing.

We help people relax and live their genuine lives.

That’s a good thing.” I took the chair next to her.

I didn’t want her to feel shy around me.

“You didn’t.” She wouldn’t look at me.

“Emma, there is one thing you should know. A basic tenet at Fantasies, Inc. is consent. It’s a hard line none of us will cross, me included. So, if anything I say or do bothers you, tell me, and I’ll stop.”

Her head turned. She glanced at me before dropping her gaze to the floor. “I’m fine. This gives me enough to get started.” She turned back to her computer.

I let out a breath.

Don’t push.

This was only her first day, and she needed time. I had to admit the massage thing turned me on, and I wanted to show Emma how pleasurable it could be. There were so many things I wanted to show her.

Patience was going to become my new motto.
