21. SAMMY

SAMMY

Sammy had not enjoyed what little sleep he had managed to get. The fact that his alarm had gone off at five AM did little to cheer him up. Apparently, Tucker had arranged an extra-long day of filming, and it was going to be the beginning of at least one whole week of early morning starts.

I don’t know how much longer I can do this.

Maybe I should just run away?

From Tucker… from the city… from everything.

Sammy finished off brushing his teeth and gave his face a splash of water to try and wake himself up a little bit better. The apartment was cold and even in his clothes from the night before, Sammy still felt the chill running over his body.

‘Maybe a shower will at least warm me up,’ Sammy said, looking over to Zozo who was sitting patiently on the bathroom chair. ‘That’s if the hot water is still working!’

Fortunately, the shower still worked and the water was nice and hot. It was good that at least one thing was working out in Sammy’s favor, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that his life was absolutely not okay as it was currently proceeding.

Sammy wanted to be having fun.

Whether that fun was hanging out in The Cuddle Corner, coloring and playing with Lars, or having wholesome times with Harrison… all Sammy knew was that these things were sadly absent from his life currently, and he didn’t really see how that was going to change as things stood.

After cleaning his body with soap, Sammy hopped out of the shower and very briskly dried himself off using his large, fluffy towel.

So as to avoid getting all cold again, Sammy quickly hustled to his wardrobe and put on a thermal t-shirt and his thermal briefs too.

The t-shirt and briefs were a bright red set and Sammy knew just how cute he looked…

‘I wish Daddy was here to see me,’ Sammy sighed. ‘Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be…’

Sammy felt glum.

Despite the fact that his time as Harrison’s special Little had been relatively brief, to Sammy it was already feeling like a long-lost golden era. Sammy had been able to do everything he loved to do…

Cooking.

Coloring and playing.

Even indulging in his special kinks!

But the prospect of that happening again felt like it was getting lesser by the second. Each new video or silly promotional trick that Tucker was forcing him to do made Sammy feel less connected with the passions in his life.

Sammy wanted to tell Tucker that he wouldn’t do any more for him. But that just wasn’t how things worked in life. Sammy knew that Tucker had complete control of his money and without a supply of money being fed to him, Sammy knew he would be out on the street.

‘Come on, Zozo… let’s try and have a good day,’ Sammy muttered, really and truly not believing a word he was saying. ‘Who knows, Tucker might decide to be a bit nicer to me if I work as hard as I can?’

Sammy got changed into his t-shirt and neon green dungarees. It was time to hit the street outside his apartment and make the twenty-minute walk over toward the studio.

‘Brrrrrrrr! It’s cold!’ Sammy said, shivering as he stepped out onto the sidewalk. ‘And it’s barely dawn either. I don’t feel safe. Please protect me, Zozo!’

Sammy was genuinely concerned about walking alone at this time of the day. The streets seemed pretty much deserted, but that also meant that bad guys could be lurking behind every corner.

Sammy also knew that as much as his stuffie was always there for him, if push came to shove then Zozo wasn’t exactly in a position to fight anyone away.

‘Okay, here goes,’ Sammy said, taking a big breath and beginning to set off westward toward the studio.

But before Sammy could get very far, he heard the sound of a loud car engine heading in his direction. With its blacked-out windows and bright, halogen lights the car was menacing and made Sammy cower behind a trash can.

I don’t like that car.

And I like it even less that it’s headed right for me…

Sammy closed his eyes and hoped and prayed that the angry, super-charged car would drive right past him and continue on its journey.

But Sammy didn’t need to worry.

The car was heading right for him, and that was a good thing…

‘Boy! Come out from behind that trash can,’ Harrison shouted, jumping out of the car as it screeched to a halt. ‘That’s a direct command from your Daddy, so unless you fancy a paddling right here in the cold morning air, I’d do what I say!’

‘Daddy?’ Sammy said, coming out from behind the dirty trash can. ‘I… I… what’s going on? Why are you here?’

Before Harrison could answer, Sammy watched as Lars and Zane got out of the car too. Sammy didn’t know precisely what was going on, but he knew one thing for absolutely certain – he was super-happy to see his friends.

‘Sammy!’ Lars cried out, running over to Sammy and giving him a big hug.

‘Hey, save some for me,’ Harrison said, his hulking body looking an appetizing target for Sammy to snuggle into in the cold weather. ‘Even better, get in the car with us and we can talk over what the hell has been going on.’

‘Daddy, it’s been awful,’ Sammy said, close to tears. ‘Tucker has been so mean and so stinky to me that I almost can’t believe it’s even real.’

Sammy saw Harrison’s facial expression harden.

Daddy’s angry.

I think he might just put Tucker in his place…

Before Sammy could get any colder, he got into the large SUV with Harrison and the others. It was time to explain exactly what had been going on and then see what Daddy had come up with as a plan for sorting the whole mess out…

* * *

‘I cannot fucking believe it,’ Harrison said, his voice full of genuine anger at Tucker’s mistreatment of Sammy. ‘I knew he was controlling and manipulative, but this is something else.’

‘It’s worse than we thought,’ Zane said, a concerned look on his face. ‘But that doesn’t mean we can’t still put this asshole in his place.’

‘Agreed,’ Harrison said, putting his arm around Sammy and bringing him in close. ‘Tell me, boy – where were you filming first up today?’

Sammy had just about stopped shivering, but was still finding it hard to speak due to the sheer adrenalin rush of seeing his Daddy again.

‘It’s okay, breathe,’ Harrison said, gently rubbing Sammy’s chest. ‘Take your time. But also make sure to say exactly what you were scheduled to be doing. It could help us with our plan.’

‘Y-y-y-yes, Daddy,’ Sammy whimpered, attempting to compose himself as best as he possibly could.

‘Here, have some of this juice box,’ Lars said, handing Sammy a multi-colored juice box. ‘I brought it especially for you. I finished my one less than ten minutes into the journey here!’

Lars laughed and this helped to take some intensity out of the moment. Sammy even giggled a little bit too. Then, after taking a sip on his juice, Sammy began to explain what was in store for him that day.

‘First, I’m meant to meet at the recording studio,’ Sammy said. ‘Then I think I have a recording session in the park. Like an early morning thing. I’m meant to be wearing hotpants and offering free donuts to strangers. It sounds tacky and horrible. I really don’t want to do it…’

Even talking about it was making Sammy feel upset.

And this didn’t go unnoticed by Harrison.

‘Don’t worry, you’ll be doing no such thing,’ Harrison said, his voice brimming with determination and certainty.

‘This will all have been sorted by then. Okay, here’s what I suggest. We drive you directly to the park.

You can message Tucker and say you’ll meet him there instead of the studio.

Then, simply wait for me to make my move. ’

‘What are you going to do, Daddy?’ Sammy said.

‘It’s better if you simply focus on yourself,’ Harrison replied, a firm tone in his voice. ‘I don’t want Tucker getting suspicious. It’s time that this utter creep gets his just desserts. The last thing we want is for him to get suspicious and then run away like the cowardly bully he is.’

With that, the Zane’s personal driver put the car into gear and the gang headed toward the park.

Sammy didn’t know how the situation would play out, but he did know that he had a Daddy who loved and cared for him. Harrison was determined to make everything right - and even if they weren’t able to beat Tucker, Sammy knew that at least he had a Daddy who cared for him.
