Chapter 15 #2

She relaxed at his words, and it both filled him with a deep sense of satisfaction that he could help his girl feel better even in the midst of horrendous circumstances, and a deep sadness that she was okay with sucking him off in a room full of people because she’d already become desensitized to her own sexuality and had begun to see herself as the toy her buyer wanted.

“That’s it, baby, take me deep,” he murmured, just in case anyone was listening too closely.

The baby was probably taking it a step too far, since as far as anyone here was concerned, no one knew her, so an endearment was a little odd, but it wasn't so odd that he’d seem suspicious.

Likely, anyone listening in would just assume he was playing out some fantasy in his head.

Her hands lifted to cup him, and he groaned as he became impossibly hard, and the first tinglings of pleasure began to light inside him.

Mateo didn't want to come.

Well, he did, his girl was gorgeous, especially with her glistening lips wrapped around him, and her slender fingers gently fondling him, but he didn't want to come like this.

Didn't want to further demean her, make her do something she didn't want to do. Her power and control, her bodily autonomy, had been ripped away from her, and he’d already played way too big a part in that for his liking.

“Ease up, little mouse,” he said softly, lowering his voice so it wouldn't be heard.

“I'm going to come, and I won't do that to you.” Keeping his cover was one thing, and he couldn’t come up on her platform and not touch her, but actually coming in her mouth was taking it too far, and he wasn't comfortable with that.

Although his girl seemed to have other ideas.

Making a whining sound low in her throat, she squeezed him harder with her fingers and sucked him deep into her throat.

“Baby, it’s wrong,” he murmured, sweeping his thumb over her cheekbone again in a gentle caress.

Ally gave a small shake of her head, and her eyes were clearly giving him the go signal. It was clear she was okay with him doing this, but he still felt like it must be wrong. What consent could she really give while she was chained to the floor and on display as the night’s entertainment?

Trusting his girl under these circumstances was hard because Mateo was sure he knew better.

But if he didn't trust her, he was really the same as the man who had bought her, the men who had helped to train her. They’d seen her as someone who no longer got to make decisions about themselves, as a thing and not a person.

Determined not to be like them, Mateo let his control snap.

Tangling his fingers in her wavy red locks, he tipped his head back and took control. Thrusting into her mouth somewhat frenetically, as his pleasure built and then exploded through him as he squirted into her mouth.

Pulling out of her slowly, part of him didn't want this moment to end because then he had to face the reality of the situation they were in.

He caught a dribble of his semen that slid down her chin on the pad of his finger and fed it to her.

His sweet girl lapped it up eagerly, swirling the tip of her tongue around his finger before letting it pop out of her mouth.

“We’re definitely doing that again, little mouse, once you're safe and one hundred percent in control of who gets to touch you, when, and how,” he told her before he realized how arrogant that sounded.

The heat flaring in Ally’s eyes told him she wasn't offended. Nope. She was clearly aroused at the idea.

“Okay, baby, I'm going to have to walk away from you now,” he told her, hating the idea but knowing it was necessary. “If I stay here, I make it obvious I'm more interested in you than I should be, and I don’t want an encounter with Koa Rolland because he’s going to know I've crashed his party.”

“Koa Rolland, is that King?”

“Is that what he called himself to you?”

Ally nodded.

“Yeah, baby, that’s the name of the man who bought you.

So far, no one has questioned my presence here, and I want to keep it that way.

So I'm going to walk away, but I'm going to stay close and make sure no one gets too rough with you.

I'm going to let the guys know I have eyes on you and that I'm going to need a distraction to get you out.”

“What about the chain?” she asked, her fingers tugging on the diamond-encrusted metal tying her to the platform.

“Don’t worry about that, I’ll get it off you when we’re ready to move,” he assured her.

He had a lock-picking set in his pocket, and he’d be able to get the chain unlocked from her collar in seconds.

The collar looked like it would take a little longer, since the lock looked elaborate, but it would be coming off her the second they were out of this house, and he knew she was safe.

“I trust you,” she said, and he could see in her eyes and hear in her voice that she meant it.

“Never going to deserve you, little mouse.”

“You deserve good things, Mateo.”

Not sure he believed her, in fact, pretty sure he didn't, he tucked himself back into his boxers and pants, and zipped himself up.

If he didn't walk away from her now, he wasn't going to be able to.

It was hell leaving her here, knowing there was nothing he could do to stop anyone from approaching her, but he had to focus on the big picture.

Falcon was right, sometimes it was the little things that were important, but sometimes it wasn't. Sometimes it was the big picture, and this was one of those times.

“Won't be far away, little mouse. Promise.”

Tears shimmered in her eyes, and she chewed on her bottom lip, but she didn't beg him to stay, because she knew they had to do this.

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think, little mouse,” he murmured.

For a second, her brow furrowed, then amusement sparked in her eyes. “Christopher Robin says that to Winnie the Pooh in The House at Pooh Corner. You saying Pooh Bear quotes is not something I expected to ever hear.”

“You love those classic children’s books.

I've seen your collection, they’re important to you, so they’re important to me too.

” Now wasn't the time to tell her, but he’d actually been building up a collection of first editions of some of the well-known children’s classics she didn't already own, and he’d been intending to give them to her along with a ring when he was ready to propose.

“Maybe it’s time you stop pretending that you don’t have emotions,” she whispered.

“It doesn’t make you weak, and people do care about what you're feeling. Don’t let what your parents did steal anything else from you.

There’s an entire world you're missing out on because you think that feeling is a weakness.”

“Remember your own words, little mouse. If feeling isn’t a weakness, then you have to stop beating yourself up over the perfectly normal feelings of rejection, fear, anger, and sadness over your childhood.

You survive. Whatever life throws at you, you find a way through it. That’s strength, baby. That’s bravery.”

“Are you finished with her?” a man asked as he guided a woman in a sparkling gold dress up onto the platform.

“For now. Will definitely be back later though for another round,” he replied as he smirked at them, then released Ally and stepped back. “Enjoy.”

“Oh, we will,” the man said, his eyes glittering with desire as he guided the woman before Ally, leaning her back against his chest and lifting her dress, baring her for Ally to pleasure, as he began to pluck at her breasts.

Gritting his teeth and curling his fingers into fists, he barely contained his rage.

Ally’s expression of resignation was like a knife through the heart.

But he had to walk away, had to find a quiet corner where he could tell the guys they needed to do something to cause enough of a commotion for him to grab his girl and run.
