Chapter 14 #2

“Oh, pumpkin,” Charlie said, placing a sweet kiss on their cheek. “Please never change.”

“What would that make Charlie?” Noah asked, glancing between them.

“What do you want me to be, peanut?”

Noah stared off into space, and his jaw began to pulse.

“Gordy Simple,” Charlie murmured, pressing tighter against both Aspen and Noah’s sides.

Noah puffed out a soft breath. “I think you’re my rock.

You don’t have to be there every day—unless you want to be, of course, but I feel like you’ve been this constant in my life for many years, and I don’t want anything about that to change.

The sex is amazing, and I love the, uh, romantic-ish things we do like quiet nights in and going out on dates, but…

at the end of the day, it’s that you’re my—”

“Anchor!” Aspen shouted triumphantly.

Noah tipped his head to the side. “Yeah, I guess you could call it that.”

“Remember we talked about that with Rachel? She’s looking for her own anchor, too. Someone who is a central part of your life and that you lean on, again not necessarily meaning they’re the most important, but they can be.”

Aspen was going to have to buy Blair a thank you gift.

They were pretty impressed with themself for remembering all this, but it was probably because when they’d been reading it, they’d been thinking about Noah.

He was their anchor, and hopefully one day he’d also be their bird nesting partner.

They weren’t entirely sure what Charlie was yet.

“I can’t help but notice that all of these do have the word partner in them,” Charlie said. “Would it be okay if I just use partner for both of you? I’m not as hip with the vocabulary as you are, pumpkin.”

“That’s fine with me. Can I also call you my partner?”

Charlie nodded, placing another soft kiss on Aspen’s cheek.

“What about you, babe?”

Noah's jaw began to pulse again, but this time neither of them interrupted him.

“I think,” he finally said, “I’m fine with you both calling me your partner. Honestly, it might just be easier if I do the same for you, but I kind of like the idea that…you’re my bird, and you’re my anchor.”

Aspen was pretty sure they were going to pull a muscle with all their excited-shimmy dancing, but they couldn’t help it. “I’d love to be your bird!”

“And I’m honored to be your anchor.”

Noah let out a surprised laugh. “That’s actually sort of funny. The theme of my hotel room seems to be nautical, so there are anchors everywhere.”

Aspen couldn’t contain their squeal of excitement. “Oh my god, and our room is covered in swans! It’s like we were meant to chase you across the country and start our relationship on this really uncomfortable couch!”

Noah tried to stand up, but Charlie held him in place to kiss his cheek, and then Aspen took their turn, covering his face in kisses until he stopped squirming and just let it happen.

When they finally released him, he stood up on shaky legs. Charlie put a supportive arm around his shoulder and led him to get breakfast, Aspen skipping happily behind them.

There wasn’t anywhere to sit, so they returned to the uncomfy couch, which Aspen would now forever think of as their couch. Noah was only able to eat a few bites and take a few sips of coffee before he asked if they could all go upstairs to figure out a plan.

As they piled into the elevator, Aspen asked if they could stay with Noah for the rest of the week.

“Of course. I’m so sorry you had to book your own flights and pay for a night in this ridiculous hotel.”

“It wasn’t that bad since it was so last-minute. Probably a cancellation or something,” Aspen said as they reached their floor.

Their room was only one door away from the elevator, and Aspen fumbled for their key, only for Charlie to easily pull his out of his front pocket and unlock the door.

“Still. I’d really like to pay you both—”

Charlie interrupted Noah with a kiss.

“Hey, that’s my trick,” Aspen said, waiting until Charlie was done to steal their own quick kiss from Noah. They had to practically climb up Charlie’s body to steal one from him, but it was worth it cause they got to see his dimples for the first time that trip.

Noah’s jaw was pulsing again, but Aspen ignored it in favor of throwing all their things back in their bag and grabbing their toiletries and phone charger. Charlie only had to grab his charger and toiletries, and he was giving Noah a disapproving look.

“I can tell you’re still thinking about the money, peanut. It’s really not a big deal, but if you insist, you can pay for whatever meals we don’t mooch off your family for.”

Noah’s jaw began pulsing at an alarming rate as they walked back to the elevator.

“I’m not…really sure what this week is going to look like.

Obviously, I was only intending on having one guest, and now they’re expecting me to have none, and to be at the beck and call of the entire family this week. ”

“Well, we’re your family now, too, so we’re here to help. And if they don’t want the help, then they can probably do without you as well,” Aspen said, marching into the elevator.

Noah hit the button for the sixth floor, and he actually brought his hand all the way up to his mouth, as if he was going to give in after all these years and bite his nails, but then he dropped it back down by his side.

Oh boy, it seemed like it was going to take drastic measures to get him out of his head this time.

They took the rest of the elevator ride in silence and followed Noah to his room.

Aspen only let them all get onto the carpeted portion of the bedroom before they turned on their toes and planted a palm on Noah’s chest.

“We’re going to figure this out, babe. But only if you relax a little bit.

When you make stressed decisions, you end up coming home early, and when we make stressed decisions, we end up flying across the country after you.

We’re all here now, and we’ll make a plan, but you have got to loosen up a bit first.”

Aspen dropped to their knees and gripped the waistband of Noah’s joggers.

“Asp, you don’t have to.” Noah breathed, his knees already beginning to shake. Charlie stepped up behind him and gripped both his hips to keep him on his feet.

“Do you want me to?” Aspen asked, running the pads of their fingers up under Noah’s hoodie and t-shirt.

“I… Yes.”

“Good. You okay up there, too, handsome?”

“I’m great,” Charlie said, bending his head to kiss along Noah’s neck.

“Oh god, oh fuck—” Noah gasped as Aspen wasted no time in dragging his pants down and burying their face in his groin. They’d been able to tell just by looking at him that he wasn’t wearing his packer, so they were able to easily capture his t-dick in their mouth and begin sucking.

“Mmmm…missed you,” Aspen mumbled against his dick.

They swirled their tongue along the tip until it hardened to its full length. They loved watching his dick harden. It was perfect, with the prettiest pink tip Aspen loved to touch and tease.

“I was…only gone for like…a day and a half.”

Aspen replaced their mouth with their fingers, stroking and pulling on him in the exact way he liked it.

He whimpered and leaned even heavier back against Charlie’s chest. “I know, babe, but for a whole thirty minutes there, I thought I was going to have to go an entire week without seeing you, and so I preemptively started missing you.”

Charlie’s laugh was like thunder rolling over the mountains.

It reminded Aspen of the time they’d tried to go on a hiking trip with Noah, but it had begun storming the second they reached the parking lot.

They’d laid in the back of Noah’s car, snuggled up together, with the trunk open so they could hear the rain and thunder without getting wet.

“I love you,” Noah gasped, as his thighs began to tense and Aspen worked him with their tongue and fingers. “Both of you.”

“I love you, too.” Aspen glanced up through their lashes at Charlie. “And I’m definitely falling for you, handsome.”

“Same and same,” Charlie said, spreading out his large fingers across Noah’s belly.

Aspen pressed up onto their knees to kiss Charlie’s knuckles, and they were rewarded with a soft pat to their cheek. Then Charlie surprised the ever-loving heck out of them by threading his fingers into their hair and pressing their head down.

“Oh god,” Noah moaned, thrusting his hips against Aspen’s mouth.

“Oh god is right,” Aspen grunted, sliding their hand into their pants. There was no way they could listen to Noah’s breathy moans, with Charlie gripping their hair, and not jack off.

“That’s it,” Charlie crooned. “Both of you are going to come, and then we’re going to sit down and figure out a plan. Gordy Simple. No stress.”

Noah whined, and Aspen moaned around Noah’s dick. It only took another minute or two of Charlie’s gentle, yet unbelievably sexy coaxing, and Noah was coming against Aspen’s mouth while they came in their underwear.

Cleanup was slow and languid, as Charlie changed into pajamas and Aspen and Noah followed his lead. They curled up under the covers with Noah in the middle and Aspen and Charlie on either side.

“What’s the plan, peanut?” Charlie asked once they were fully settled.

“I…have no idea,” Noah said, burrowing somehow deeper under the covers until the blanket was pulled up all the way to his chin.

“I’m supposed to be meeting my immediate family for lunch so we can assign tasks for the week like airport pickup duty, showing some of the aunts and uncles around town, and running interference to keep my one aunt and her wife away from mom. ”

Aspen’s eyebrows shot up. “I didn’t know you had Launts.”

Charlie tilted his head curiously, and Noah said, “Lesbian aunts.”

“Ah, makes sense. I also didn’t know you had lesbian aunts,” he said.
