Chapter Four
Rex
Rex’s private office suite, GoldenEye IV Airbus, just after takeoff...
“A sold-out maiden flight. I’m impressed, Rex. I’ll definitely knock on your door for assistance with market strategy when we launch GoldenEye V.” Axel smiled broadly as he leaned against the wall, winking at Max, Jax, and Dexter, who were also roaming around the suite.
“That’s hardly surprising, my friend, since all the maiden flights of the CDS clubs so far have sold out.
Word of mouth was the biggest marketing tool that cost me nothing.
” Rex leaned back in his chair with a grin.
“Though I have to say, the majority of the guests onboard are all new members to the CDS group. I might even have to consider additional guest weekday flights.”
“I like your decor, Rex,” Max said, looking around. The main color for all the GoldenEye Airbuses was black, inside and out, but each owner had carte blanche on the contrast color and how the interior was decorated.
Rex had opted for the minimalistic, similar to his offices and home. It spoke of class and warmth with a subtle, deep purple as the contrast. Not overbearing but done with style and restraint.
Purple accent lighting cast a subtle glow across the black walls, creating an intimate atmosphere without being overbearing.
Rex’s desk dominated one end of the space and was a masterpiece of modern design in black lacquer, brushed gold, and tempered glass that seemed to float above the dark hardwood floor.
Behind it, a wall of built-in cabinets in matching black contained both office necessities and carefully organized collections of implements and toys, their handles visible through smoky glass doors.
The conference area featured a sleek black table surrounded by high-backed leather chairs in deep purple, while the private play area was thoughtfully sectioned off by strategic lighting and subtle changes in the floor elevation.
The Saint Andrew’s cross, finished in matte black with purple padding, stood as an elegant sculpture rather than just equipment.
Next to it, the spanking bench echoed the same refined aesthetic, its lines clean and purposeful.
“You know me, Max,” Rex drawled with his Southern accent slightly more pronounced. “I believe a space should reflect both its purpose and its owner’s taste. The club may cater to our darker desires, but each of us added that touch of sophistication in our respective aircraft.”
The overhead spotlights remained dim, but their presence was evident in the gleaming reflections off the glass and metal surfaces throughout the room.
Small touches of purple in the form of throw pillows on the leather sofa, the subtle patterns in the area rug, and the accent lighting behind the shelving tied the space together without overwhelming it.
“Yes, each of you has stamped a little of yourself in the designs of your planes, and I love it. It’s your domain, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Max said over his shoulder as he headed to the bedroom through double doors of frosted glass and black frames.
“I deliberately decided on a contrast for the bedroom to the office’s bold aesthetic,” Rex said as he followed him inside.
Instead of black, the walls shifted to a warm cream, creating a sanctuary of calm.
The platform bed, dressed in 1000-thread-count Egyptian cotton in immaculate white, looked plush and inviting.
Custom-made nightstands in black lacquer with gold hardware flanked the bed, each topped with modern touch-sensitive lamps that could dim to any desired ambiance.
A sliding door of black-veined glass led to the en suite bathroom, where dramatic black marble-like material dominated the walls and floors.
The double vanity featured a floating design, topped with a single piece of carved marble, and paired with a mirror backlit by warm LED lighting.
Brushed gold fixtures added luxury without ostentation.
The freestanding soaking tub, a modern oval design in matte black, sat beneath a small skylight, offering a view of the passing clouds.
“I like it,” Max said. “The overall effect is one of understated luxury. A private retreat that balances comfort with sophistication. Well done, Rex.”
“Enough with the treacle, Max,” Jax taunted. “His smile already circles his face. Any more and his head would swell so big, he won’t be able to get through the door.”
Amid their laughter, a knock on the door cut short the retort on Rex’s lips.
“Apologies for interrupting, Rex, but it’s time for your welcoming speech. The people are eager to swamp the dungeon.”
Rex smiled at Cooper as he peeked around the door. “Thanks for ensuring takeoff went smoothly, Coop. Is the staff ready?”
“All accounted for and in place. It’s kickoff time, Master R.” Cooper held open the door and gestured to the men. “Shall we?”
“Was it my imagination, or did I notice my newest employee boarding the plane with the inflight staff?” Axel asked with raised eyebrows as they descended the stairs toward the entertainment area, where the din of excited voices sounded.
“As you know, she’s been jobless for quite some time,” Rex smiled wryly.
“I established she’s cash-strapped while interviewing her for an inflight staff job, which I couldn’t give her since she hasn’t tended bar since college.
But since we had a full flight, and she’s experienced in the lifestyle, I offered her a temporary assisting bartending gig for this flight. ”
“Ah, the man has a small heart,” Dexter jabbed him in the side. “Or is there something more to this you’re not mentioning?”
“Just helping out a woman down on her luck,” Rex said with grim finality. “You know as well as I do we follow a strict no involvement rule with inflight staff.”
“But she’s only a temp, so...” Jax latched onto his cousin’s taunt.
“Temp or not, she’s employed for this flight.”
“Hmm, I detect a slight irritation in your voice, Rex,” Max studied him with a direct look. “Might as well admit you have the hots for whoever we are talking about.”
“Xia Foster. Rex introduced me to her, and I appointed her on the spot as the Louisiana Aloha Resort Casino’s marketing executive once I interviewed her.
I would’ve been a fool not to. Highly intelligent and very well qualified but also a gorgeous woman with the sexiest curves I’ve ever seen.
Those soft and rounded hips, ample breasts, and—”
“Enough,” Rex all but barked at Axel as his words conjured a vision of those curves he had watched as she walked away from him. “You sound like her pimp.”
“Just saying,” Axel said with a glimmer in his eyes. “If you’re not interested...”
“Says he, who has just as strict a policy with employee involvement as I do,” Rex reminded him. “Besides, she’s leaving to work with Axel in Hawaii for two years until the casino opens here, and that doesn’t fit in with my immediate plans.”
“Do tell,” Jax said as they stepped into a cabin that seamlessly blended modern luxury with intimate ambiance.
The transformation from a standard plane cabin to this sophisticated entertainment sanctuary was a testament to careful design and attention to detail.
The ceiling, lined with subtle LED lighting, cast a warm glow over the dominant black surfaces, while strategic purple accent lighting created depth and intimacy throughout the space.
The walls, finished in matte black with geometric panels, reflected Rex’s minimalistic aesthetic.
To the left, a polished dance floor in dark hardwood gleamed under carefully positioned spotlights, where couples moved to the smooth jazz from a trio tucked into a discrete alcove.
The music, like everything else, was carefully balanced but present enough to create atmosphere without overwhelming the conversation.
The bar, a masterpiece of black marble with delicate gold veining, stretched along one wall, its clean lines emphasized by backlit shelving in smoky glass. Premium spirits and crystal decanters filled the shelves.
Seating areas were thoughtfully arranged in private configurations, featuring black leather lounges with deep purple velvet accent pillows.
Each seating cluster included a small table in black lacquer and gold, perfect for holding drinks or creating natural boundaries.
Modern privacy screens in black metal and frosted glass could be adjusted to create more intimate spaces as needed.
The overall effect was one of understated opulence with every element carefully chosen to create an atmosphere of sophisticated pleasure while maintaining the clean, modern aesthetic that characterized all of Rex’s spaces.
His gaze drifted over the cabin with pleased satisfaction before responding to Jax. “It’s time to settle down. I’m looking for a wife, and I have no intention of having a long-distance relationship or waiting two years to get married, so, no matter how enticing Ms. Foster is, she’s off the table.”
“Well, well, this is a surprise.” Max looked at him with raised eyebrows. “The self-proclaimed forever bachelor wants to get married soon. What brought on this sudden change?”
“You, Jax, and Dexter. I tell you, Max, just watching you with your wives and how happy and fulfilled you are, so much more than before...” He shrugged. “I find myself yearning for that, too, and you know me. Once I make a decision...”
“You go full throttle.” Axel thumped him on the shoulder. “Good for you, my friend.”
“Enough of this chit-chat. Let’s get this club officially open.
” Rex’s voice carried natural authority as he stepped onto the platform, accepting the microphone with practiced ease.
The subtle purple lighting caught the planes of his face and his bald head as he turned to address his guests with a warm and genuine expression.
“It’s such an honor to welcome all of you to the opening of the Louisiana Club Decadent Skies aboard the maiden flight of the GoldenEye IV.
” He paused, a smile playing on his lips as enthusiastic applause filled the cabin.
Looking around at the faces before him, friends, fellow kinksters, and respected members of the lifestyle, he was overcome with a surge of pride so intense, it nearly took his breath away.
This had been more than a dream; it had been an obsession since the day Max launched the first GoldenEye Airbus.
Now, standing here in his own club in the skies, surrounded by the sophisticated interior he had carefully designed, Rex felt a profound sense of achievement.
Every detail, from the subtle lighting to the carefully chosen furnishings, reflected his vision of combining luxury with liberation.
“I’m not going to bore you with a long speech or citing rules and protocol since I trust you all studied them beforehand.
All I want to say is enjoy, have fun, and always remember to practice safe, sane, and consensual play.
” He paused with a mischievous glint in his eye.
“And please, while we may be flying at thirty thousand feet, feel free to get as kinky as you like.”
The cabin erupted in laughter and applause as he weaved his way back to his friends.
The warmth of achievement settled in his chest as he watched the guests begin to mingle and explore.
To him, this was more than just a club. It was a sanctuary in the sky, a place where people could truly be themselves.
And he, Rex Oliver, because of Max’s vision, had made it happen.
