Chapter 29
Once outside, Jackson and Steel saw the large, deep-yellow, full moon hanging low in the dark sky. “My parents have shifted and are waiting for us in the woods,” said Steel.
This news pleased Jackson as he didn’t think he was ready to see his mother-in-law naked just yet or vice versa. He giggled at his modesty but really, he knew he just wasn’t ready.
Steel nudged him, “What’s so funny?”
“I’ll tell you later, babe,” answered Jackson standing on the top step, looking down at his brothers who had gathered below.
“Okay, guys, Steel’s going to lead us tonight since he knows the land. So, let’s have some fun,” Jackson said, joining his brothers. “Start shifting.”
One by one, the brothers shifted; Jackson was the last. Steel gasped as he saw seven snow white wolves looking at him, all as large as the biggest Alpha he ever met.
White wolves! Seven of them! All from the same pack!
What were the odds? Steel didn’t even want to figure that one out—even one white wolf was such a rarity that a wolf could live a very long life and never see one.
Steel’s eyes narrowed and knew he’d be having a conversation about this with his mother.
Suddenly, Jackson’s wolf pressed its nose into his hand, whining and wondering why he hadn’t shifted.
Steel knelt down, scratching him behind the ears, and rubbed its nose.
“Your wolf is so beautiful, babe,” Steel murmured to his lover before shifting.
A massive wolf, with black tipped silver-grey fur, emerged, prompting Jackson to step back along with his brothers at the display before them.
Whining at the presence of this massive wolf, Jackson’s brothers nervously scuffed their paws on the ground.
Acting quickly to quell his brothers’ concerns, Jackson confronted Steel, demanding his submission by grabbing his snout in his teeth and dragging it toward the ground.
At first, Steel’s wolf resisted but then quickly acquiesced, exposing his neck in submission. Jackson let go, licked his mate and then howled. Joining in, his brothers and Steel sang the song of wolves, echoing through the trees and rising to the moon.
Suddenly, Steel took off, running toward a special place in his forest. Following quickly, Jackson and the rest of his brothers tagged along behind him.
Steel saw his parents standing at the side of the trail as he ran past and they joined the pack.
Onward, up the mountain, Steel led the pack, the sounds of the forest stilling as the wolves ran through it.
Panting and huffing, the pack followed Steel, reveling in their run under the full moon. Near the mountaintop, the pine needle carpeted forest floor gave way to bare ground and rock, the trees thinned and the wolves had a clear view of the night sky.
Jackson followed closely behind his mate, savoring the cool night air rushing through his fur—he never wanted this night to end.
So much had happened since the pack’s last full moon run, Jackson found it hard to believe.
He could smell his mate in front of him—the scent that would drive him crazy for the rest of his days.
And a pup on the way! Oh, he could hardly wait until their pup could run with them—a beautiful silver-grey pup, nipping at his heels, in an effort to make Jackson run faster.
And Steel behind their pup, guarding him from threats.
Jackson had no doubts after seeing Steel’s wolf he’d always be able to protect their pup. Nope, no doubts at all.
Slowing down after about an hour, the pack reached an outcropping of rock near the top of the mountain.
From here, Steel always felt he could touch the stars.
The wolves all milled about before flopping on the ground, breathing hard.
Jackson lay next to Steel, resting his head on his paws, fascinated by the stars above moving lazily across the night sky.
Seeing those stars reflected in his mate’s eyes, Steel knew he’d never forget this night.
Being this close to Jackson caused his cock to harden and he dearly wanted to fuck his mate’s wolf.
First, though, he needed to get rid of the pack; he didn’t need an audience.
Shifting, Steel stood, “Dad, would you lead the pack down the mountain? I’d like to spend some time up here with Jackson. ”
Logan shifted suddenly, asking Jackson, “Is it a problem if we run some other trails?”
Steel looked at his mate and waited for Jackson’s response through their mind link.
That’s fine with me. Is there anything they should be aware of?
No babe, my land is safe.
Okay, but they must stay together.
Jackson nodded his approval. Steel said to Logan, “Just stay together. Have fun.”
Logan shifted back as his brothers got up. Steel’s parents also rose and followed the boys back down the trail. Turning to his mate’s wolf, Steel asked, “Please, would you shift, babe?”
Jackson felt the pain of disappointment; he’d really wanted his wolf to be claimed by Steel’s wolf.
Hesitating, but then shifting, he stood before his lover.
Gathering Jackson into his arms, Steel held his mate against his chest, allowing his heat to keep Jackson warm.
“I wanted to ask you if I... I mean, could my wolf make love to your wolf? I’ve been dreaming of doing that ever since we claimed each other. ”
Jackson was stunned; that was the last thing he’d expected when Steel asked him to shift. Facing his mate, he said softly, “We’re on the same page. I hoped you’d claim me as a wolf tonight.”
“Thank you, babe. You know, this is my favorite spot. The stars feel close enough to pick one out of the sky to give to you…the light of my life,” Steel said, kissing his mate passionately.
“This is the spot my wolf wants to claim yours, under the light of a thousand stars,” crooned Steel.
Stepping back, he said, “Shift for me, babe.”
Jackson’s wolf appeared again. Kneeling and throwing his arms around the pure white beauty, Steel buried his face into its neck ruff. He inhaled deeply, loving the scent. Then, rubbing his hands all over the wolf’s body, he hummed his approval of his strong and muscled mate.
Steel shifted into his Dire Wolf. Standing in front of his mate, he watched as Jackson’s wolf lowered himself until his belly was touching the ground. Whimpering, Jackson’s wolf inched forward in a submissive pose, yielding to his mate.
This was the very private moment between the two Jackson hadn’t wanted his brothers to witness.
At the beginning of the night, Steel submitted to him, showing the brothers Jackson was the Alpha of the pack.
But now, it was he, willingly submitting to his dominant mate.
Jackson wasn’t sure what would happen in the future.
Deep down, he felt Steel would make a better Alpha, especially after the pup came.
But for the time being, he was content to fulfill the role.
Jackson flipped over, exposing his belly.
Steel lowered his head, licking his mate’s face before licking and rubbing his scent over the rest of Jackson.
Rolling over and lifting his hindquarters, Jackson moved his tail aside to entice his mate to mount him.
Steel’s cock slid into his mate with ease. His body heated up, his blood boiled, and he grew large in Jackson. His orgasm approaching, Steel’s snout burrowed through Jackson’s snowy-white fur until, reaching his mate’s skin, he bit down hard on his neck, claiming Jackson’s wolf.
Feeling Steel’s teeth, Jackson’s wolf howled; his cock erupted, spurting cum over his fur and onto the ground. Steel’s howl united with Jackson’s as his seed filled his mate. Joined together, the two wolf spirits danced on the winds of night.

The morning after the Full Moon Night run, Steel asked his mother to join him in his office.
While waiting for her, he thought about what he’d discovered about Jackson and his brothers on their run.
Seven white wolves, seven brothers, all saved from a massacre.
He wondered if their uncle Josiah knew these brothers were white wolves and the significance of it.
If he knew, then Steel understood why he not only wanted the Fox River Pack land but also wanted them dead.
“Hi sweetie, how is Jackson feeling?” asked Oracle, sweeping into his office.
Watching his mother’s graceful movements as she glided around his desk, Steel could only describe her as “other worldly.” Hugging each other, he replied, “Jackson’s fine. You’ve been keeping something about my mate and his brothers from me, mother.”
Oracle sat down opposite Steel, eyeing him intently, and asked. “Why would you think that?”
“Mom, I saw seven very large white wolves stand before me last night. Seven white wolves who are Jackson and his brothers. You know how rare white wolves are and why. That alone makes my mate’s brothers a target for every greedy, immoral, and untrustworthy wolf out there who wants to get their hands on one.
Jeez, and I’m bringing an unknown doctor into my house to work with Colton. ”
“Ian is okay. Do you think I would have just anyone take care of Jackson and my grandbaby? At least give me more credit than that,” she huffed.
“Still, you know it would devastate Jackson if anything happened to his brothers. You should have warned me so I’d be able to take more steps to protect them.”
“Steel, look at me. I am the Oracle. I am the voice of the Fates on earth. I know they saved Jackson and his brothers from the massacre. They have told me these seven brothers are very special to the future of wolves and that is why they escaped death. The only danger I know of is from Silver Point Pack. You are handling it. So, do not worry about what you perceive as possible danger.”
He knew his mother, as Oracle, could only speak the truth about the welfare of Jackson’s brothers. Steel gave a deep sigh, and then asked, “Will you let me know if the Fates tell you about any danger?”
“I promise.”
“So, can they all the bear pups like Jackson? Or does each have a different power?” asked Steel, curious about the brothers’ gifts.
“I haven’t been told that yet. All I know is they have been selected by the Fates for reasons known only to them at this time. We will have to wait and see,” Oracle said.
Steel sat back. “Okay, but you know waiting is not my strong suit.”
“Oh, I know,” laughed Oracle.
