Chapter 9
“You gotta stop fucking these bitches that work for you. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.”
Relic glanced at Kennedy when her tired voice broke through their comfortable silence. It was a little after eleven because, instead of leaving once they’d secured their business arrangement with Robert Tolliver, she’d sat and chopped it up with the man as if they were long lost best friends. Relic had let her because the more they conversed—while Tolliver tossed back glasses of bourbon—the looser his lips became. By the end of dinner when Kennedy let out a yawn and called it a wrap; Relic had more information on Tolliver than he knew what to do with. He realized right then that Kennedy and her affable persona was a vital piece he needed on his board.
“I hate when you do that.” She continued talking, hiking up her dress to fold one leg onto the seat before turning to face him. He refocused on the dark road.
“When I do what?”
“You just stare through people, and I can’t tell if you’re listening or don’t give a damn.”
“I’m listening, and I don’t give a damn. Fucking Logan got us that meeting.”
“Relic, that girl is in love with you! If I saw it, Tolli did. What are you going to do when she finds out she’s nothing more than a pawn and you’ll never choose her? Logan is going to lose her shit.”
“And she’ll lose her life. It’s as simple as that.”
“So, the no women and children rule doesn’t apply to you, huh?”
Relic chuckled. “Kennedy, I don’t give a single damn about a bitch or the kid she pushed out if she crosses me. They can be together in heaven.”
“You are one twisted ass nigga.”
“Tell me something I don’t know. At the end of the day, it’s me or them, and I’ll always choose me. Logan is good as long as she plays her position, which she’s done for months. This plan didn’t happen overnight.”
“So, you trust her?”
“Stop asking stupid questions,” he clipped with his face screwing up. “I trust her to be a woman. My father told me once that women are conniving and the best liars on earth. They know how to get in your heart and head, then fuck with both until you feel like you’re crazy. You and Logan proved that tonight.”
She jutted a finger at her chest and confirmed, “Me? How the hell did I prove it?”
“Because you did everything but what I asked you to do tonight, Kennedy, and I fucking let you even though I knew better.”
“You let me because it benefited you! I told you before, you don’t know how to talk to people. I’m not big on chatting either, but I know how to drive home a point. I’m sugar and you’re shit, so I stepped in before you ruined it with your rude, disrespectful ass!”
“Which brings me to the next part of his lesson. Joseph warned me to use women before they use me. Find out what they’re good at and then use it to my advantage until they’re no longer useful. Nothing more.”
Kennedy’s face contorted in a mixture of disgust and utter disbelief. She’d done what Relic required of her, but he’d turned that into a negative because his father had conned him into believing women holding even an ounce of power or strategy was a negative.
“Is this the future advice Jahleel is looking forward to? If so, I understand why Shabu told him not to come to you about girls. You sound dumb.”
“I sound logical. Whatever you can do to the next nigga, you can do to me.”
“See, that’s where you’re mistaken, Relic. I wasn’t doing shit to you, I was doing it for you . That man didn’t care to hear a word out of your mouth, but I made it easier for you because that’s what a real woman does. We simplify your fucking life. I know, it’ll kill you to admit that, but it’s the reason you sought me out.”
“That’s what you believe?”
“It’s what I know. If I’m wrong, tell me why I’m here?”
Relic spit out a sadistic laugh, knowing if he confessed the real reason he even entertained pulling her into his world; Kennedy would shit fucking bricks. She’d fold and finally see the true monster in him that she overlooked because she was used to the boogeyman. Her brother had desensitized her from spotting danger. Koda had instilled Kennedy with the best and worst traits that convinced Relic to keep her around when she should’ve been pictured on the front of Savvy’s shirt or a rest in peace banner. She’d been gifted with attributes similar to his, and he wouldn’t confess it aloud, but he liked being seen as normal by her when he was the furthest thing from it.
“Why are you here?” Relic found himself asking a question he didn’t give a fuck about when he’d recruited her. “You keep pointing out why you think I need you, but why are you willing to help me? You’ve heard about me and know what I’m capable of. You know, you’re not safe with me if you fuck up, Kennedy, but you’re here. Why?”
“Because of the money—”
“Bullshit!” Relic snapped, slapping a palm against the steering wheel before he clenched it with both hands. He didn’t trust himself not to explode because Kennedy was playing on his intelligence. “I know for a fact you don’t need the cash. Now, I feel like you have a motive.”
“Are you serious?! You bothered me, Relic. I didn’t come looking for you!”
Kennedy gawked at him like he’d sprouted a second head right before her eyes. A switch had flipped, but she couldn’t pinpoint the trigger that made him react as if she was suddenly his number one opposition. Fear nestled in the pit of her stomach like a grenade about to explode when his seedy eyes darted around the dark street while his sharp jawline twitched, exposing his efforts to remain calm. Her throat muscles shrunk after realizing she’d left her cash and weapon at home since he’d convinced her to latch onto his every word.
Relic had turned her into an easy lick, and she’d missed the fucking signs.
“Relic.”
“You ever been on a boat before, Kennedy?” A calm mask settled over his face while his crisp voice lacked emotion. Her tongue grew thick and heavy in her mouth.
“Once. My brother threw my eighteenth birthday on a yacht.”
“I ain’t talking about that fancy bullshit. A boat where you can chill on the open waters at peace. Drift. Cook up some fresh seafood you caught. Top that shit off with ya hot sauce and beer.”
Even with her heart pounding against her ribcage, she managed a smile. “That sounds nice. Is that what you do for peace?”
“Is that one of your questions?” Relic’s gaze fleeted in her direction, catching the subtle bob of her head before he expounded, “Yea. I fell in love with the water back in Haiti. Used to fish with my father for pennies so he could provide for the family. Joseph saw it as manual labor, but I saw that shit as a break from reality. I still see it as that.”
Relic opted out of telling her that most times, he contemplated jumping off that same boat and ending his life. He thought better of it after hearing death by drowning was the worst way to go. His head tossed toward their destination to shift her attention away from him, and Kennedy scrunched up her face before peering out of the window.
A relieved exhale burst from her lungs at the massive parking area he drove into with a large sign housing the marina’s name and an image of a boat in open water. She spotted a security gate in the distance and watercrafts as tall as the barrier lined behind it, while the city’s skyline gleamed in the distance like mesmerizing stars. The view was perfect. Her eyes went to Relic when he killed the engine and popped open his door.
“You might want to take your heels off. It’s a bit of a walk.”
“I’ll crawl before I walk outside barefoot,” she replied, swiping up her purse before getting out when mere seconds ago, she had rather been anywhere than with him.
Kennedy didn’t question his reason for bringing her there since she figured it was his way of opening up, although unexpected after his outburst. The cameras she noted while glancing around eased her worries as she hugged herself to combat the chill coming off the water.
“Come here.” Relic summoned her as he rounded the car to meet her halfway. She sucked her bottom lip between her teeth when he peeled off his jacket to wrap her in and then turned his back toward her and squatted. “Get on before I change my mind and make you walk.”
“Someone is going to fuck you up one day for talking to them crazy, and it might be me.”
Kennedy hiked up her dress and climbed onto his back before screaming when he pretended to buck her off, catching her by the thighs in the nick of time as the rest of her body flailed backward.
“See, how I could’ve let your ass go and dropped you straight on yo fucking head? That’s how fast shit can change with me when you push my buttons.”
“Put me down, Relic! You’re just as childish as the rest of your damn family.”
He chuckled and began walking. “Nah. Hold on, and don’t fuck up my shirt. I know you ain’t wearing panties with that lowcut ass dress.”
“I swear, I don’t see how anyone deals with your crazy ass.”
“They don’t.”
Their lighthearted banter ebbed away with those two words because Kennedy knew he meant them. She’d heard the judgmental talks behind his back and seen his exclusion in most of his families’ events. Lexi had put it best because Relic was the head of the snake—the weapon they kept locked away until they needed him to expose his venomous fangs. She was beginning to understand why Savvy gave him grace.
“When my brother died, I swore I’d never mess with a drug dealer or put myself anywhere near that kind of situation because Koda was a hard loss for me.” She rested her chin on Relic’s shoulder as he fished his keys from his pocket and used a fob to give them access into the marina. He grabbed her purse to hold once he was done, and she continued. “I’m here because, even though I don’t believe in a magic number, I believe your luck will run out, just like Koda’s did. I see you trying to get out before it happens, so I want to help.”
“You’re worried about me, Kennedy?”
“I don’t know you enough to worry about you, but I’m close with people who are. I want to get you where my brother didn’t get to go since he had pieces missing from his board. I may not be your queen, but I love a challenge.”
“You love challenges, and I love to win. We’re the dream team, Kennedy.”
“I wouldn’t go as far as saying all that, but we’re aight or whatever,” she replied, smiling as he lowered her onto the dock near a luxury cabin cruiser floating between a dock slip. “You’re a little disrespectful and unstable, but you haven’t pushed it too far with me yet. I have my second question.”
Relic reached for her hand, stepping onto his cruiser’s deck before assisting her across while preparing for her interrogation. He wondered if it was after twelve so that he could crack open a bottle of alcohol stashed in the liquor cabinet of his lower cabin. His steps slowed when he caught her examining his cockpit as they strolled through it and to the helm where he used a key to unlock the door beside the steering station. He cracked a smile when Kennedy peeked past him before wedging through to head down the stairs into the lower cabin before him.
“This is nice!” She spun around, taking in the kitchen galley and lounge area that housed an L-shaped leather couch, circular table, and flat screen. “I saw the grill up top, too. I bet y’all chill on the water all summer. I can practically taste the fresh seafood.”
“They’d probably come here often if they knew I had it,” he replied, tossing her purse on the counter before grabbing the liquor bottle he’d been thinking about since they stepped on the boat. After swiping a clean glass from the cabinet, he plopped onto the couch as Kennedy stared at him.
“Your family doesn’t know you own a whole ass boat, Relic?”
“I told you, this is my peace, so no. You mentioned having a question. Shoot.”
“Do you hit women?”
“Yes.”
His honesty jarred her to where she opened her mouth but then clamped it shut, speechless. She undraped his coat from her shoulders and sat adjacent to him on the couch.
“Why?”
“The same reason you make eye contact better than men when we talk, or clean your house more than most women. Those things were taught to you. Joseph taught me a good hit or two would shut a woman up or make them act right. I’ve been trying not to, though. I don’t want Jah going to Shabu all the time because he sees me as a bad role model,” he added, staring off into space with that confession. “Been trying to remove myself from situations when I get the urge, but that doesn’t always work.”
“I don’t care what does or doesn’t work. Just don’t try that shit with me.”
“And what happens if I do?”
Kennedy peered up as if she had to think about it before leveling him a serious look. “I’ll show you what every bitch should’ve done that let you try them.”
Relic poured a glass of liquor, staring into it while digesting her warning before he tossed it down his throat. He hissed a breath before planting those beautifully cold eyes on her.
“I believe you, and that was your last question.”
“I’m not done,” she replied in a stern tone. Relic leaned back as she snatched his bottle to drink straight from the mouth—cringing from the burn before passing it back to him. “Secret for a secret?”
The suggestion made him pour his second glass that he didn’t hesitate to toss back. One remained. His eyes shut as his closeted skeletons went into a frenzy at the prospect of being let loose from their prison. When his lids peeled apart, Kennedy was giving him that eye contact that forced him to prove he was better at it. He decided to push the envelope—to reveal his flaws until Kennedy realized she couldn’t stomach him.
“What do you want to know, big dog Kennedy?”
“Did you try to rape Michi?”
“No.” The conviction in his tone left her no choice but to believe him.
“Did you know who assaulted Savvy but hid it to protect Jessica?”
“Yes. I hid it, moved Savvy’s snake ass friend in, so she wouldn’t tell where she got the drugs from to knock Savvy out, and then—”
Relic paused, holding in the truth thrashing at the back of his throat for a release. He grabbed the bottle to pour his final glass, swallowing down the harsh liquor with his confession that he’d given the word to set Mya’s salon on fire after she ratted him out to Shabu about giving her and Kiko the drugs.
“And then what?” Kennedy pressed, but he shook his head.
“And then it was my turn. Are you disgusted with your scars?”
“Hate ‘em more than anything in this world.”
His lazy eyes roamed the marred side of her face before he swore, “I love everything about them, and one day you’ll realize they’re the best thing that ever happened to you. Do you believe, I’ll hurt you?”
His statement frazzled her to where it took her some time to register his second question. Her nails raked the table as she considered telling a lie but then figured the truth held more weight.
“Yes, but I hope you know, I wouldn’t give you a reason to. Maybe your paranoid ass will even trust me one day. Did Jessica give you a reason not to trust her, and that’s why you set her up?”
“Who said, I set her up?”
“Did you not?”
Kennedy raised an arched brow, waiting for him to decline or confess playing a hand in Jessica’s death. The answer was right in her face as she watched his bright eyes deaden the longer they matched gazes.
His tone was acidic when he threatened, “Ask a new question before I end this shit.”
“Fine. Why don’t you trust women?”
“Because the one that was supposed to love me most did this.”
Liquid courage and an axe to grind with the woman who’d birth him sent Relic to his feet before he unbuttoned his shirt, not caring that he was giving Kennedy a part of his past he didn’t share with a soul. No one knew what happened that day besides his brother and Los. His gut tightened as he recalled the terrified look on his mother’s face before a searing heat had met this torso, causing his knees to buckle from agonizing pain. The smell of burnt flesh had made him black out before he’d heard Judith scream and Shabu yelling while Los enveloped him in a bear hug. Relic didn’t regret shit he’d done and wished he’d done worse.
“What is this?”
His eyes dipped when soft fingers met his skin, grazing over the imprint that he could easily hide, unlike the scars Kennedy showed the world on a daily basis. She kneeled on the couch, outlining the discoloration before she gasped once figuring it out.
“Me and Judith got into an argument one day while she was ironing. When I stepped toward her, I guess she thought I planned to hit her, so she shoved the iron in my direction. It connected.”
Her gazed cast upward to his face before she asked, “And what did you do?”
Relic picked up the bottle and then slammed it down. He rolled his neck and shoulders, trying to release the tension building in his muscles from knowing he’d done what his father would’ve if it’d been him. Relic had knocked Judith on her ass. If she’d feared him before, he’d caused it to double that day and earned his title, dyab je ble . The only good that’d come from it was Shabu choosing him over Judith for the first time.
“You don’t have to tell me.” Kennedy assured him of that because she’d already put two and two together since his family couldn’t hold water. She picked up the bottle and held it out for him. “Drink, ‘cause you look like you need it.”
“I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because everything in life is a mind game Kennedy. Mental warfare. I like to exercise my mind, so when I come across those mental battles that’ll send the strongest men to their graves, I’m prepared. I could be a drunk like my father or dabble in coke like my baby mother did, but I don’t. I could have a bunch of kids running around with bitches I hate like Pierre, but I’ve trained my dick to hold a nut. It’s all mental.”
She glazed over the nut part and confirmed, “Your father was a drunk?”
“A functioning alcoholic. At least, that’s what I deemed him, so I don’t drink more than three glasses of alcohol in a day.”
“But it’s mental, right? A mind game that we both know you can beat, so let’s find a cheat code to the rule. There’s always a loophole. If you can’t have more than three glasses, let’s not use a glass, and you can only break the rule with me.”
Kennedy pressed her body against his before tipping back her head, pouring a generous amount of liquor between her parted lips to swallow down. She filled her mouth a second time and then clasped a hand at the back of his neck, guiding him downward as his gleaming eyes grew heady at her master plan. Relic’s stomach coiled as he stared at the pool of darkness persuading him to touch a fire that’d burn them both if he took it there. He shut his eyes before dipping his tongue inside her mouth.
Kennedy hummed and slurped on his tongue as he vacuumed the liquor from her mouth to his. His head angled to deepen the kiss, and she tossed both arms around his neck while he palmed her ass, scooped her up, and dropped her on the table like she wore less than a pound. Relic pulled back to snatch the bottle from her before clasping a hand around her throat with a firm squeeze.
“My question, right?” he verified, smirking when she nodded in haste. “I broke a rule, so are you ready to break yours?”
“Which one? I have so many in my head about your ass, I’ve lost count.”
“The one where you don’t fuck on the first date.”
“This isn’t a date.”
He chuckled and then tipped her head further, licking away the liquor rolling down the scarred half of her neck. “What about not mixing business and pleasure,” he reminded her as she gripped his waist to force them closer.
“Oh, that dumb rule. I wanted to break that one before I even said it.”
“That’s what I know, Kennedy. Open wide for me, baby.”
She didn’t know which part of her he wanted open, so she spread her thighs and widened her mouth at the same time. Chills prickled her skin when a devil-handsome smile played around the edges of his lips before he filled her mouth to the brim and then compressed her throat with such force, she couldn’t breathe or swallow to clear her passageway. His icy stare emptying of emotion sent her heart into overdrive. Her pussy pulsated in sync with her panic but then throbbed in need when his tongue dove back inside her mouth.
Kennedy gasped for air as his tongue waded in alcohol while liquid pooled over the corners of her mouth. Her emotions ricocheted between arousal and alarm because that was the effect Relic had on her—his temper unnerved her, his mystique intrigued her, and his power made her pussy wet. She hated to admit that she loved every minute of it. Relic was the kind of man she was destined to attract because Koda had drilled in her head not to settle for any man who was lesser than the best. She’d done it for years, and it’d finally dawned on her why it never lasted.
Relic set down the bottle and reached behind her neck to undo the two buttons holding her dress in place. His mouth sucked on her glistening skin, giving her scars extra affection before migrating to her pert breast when he yanked the material down to her waist. Kennedy’s soft pants put his dick on brick as he sucked her hardened nipple while peeling the dress past her hips and down to her heel-clad feet.
“Nothing underneath, Kennedy.” His thirsty stare traveled from her pretty toes until he met her gaze. “You knew you wanted to get fucked before you walked out your door.”
She didn’t debate him because she’d be lying through her teeth if she did.
A soft shriek shot from her when he yanked her body to the edge of the table and then took a seat—lifting her legs to brace her feet on top of the couch like stirrups with him positioned in between. Her spine curled in pleasure when he spread her lower lips, flicked her clit with a thumb, and then dove in headfirst. She dug her heels in the couch for leverage and palmed his head to fuck his face.
“Oh, you grown, eh?” Relic grumbled, vacuuming her pearl into his mouth. His tongue fluttered against it in sync with her hip thrusts before he spit it out to say, “Let me see what this lil’ pretty pussy can do.”
“She can only do as much as a nigga makes her.”
A smirk bloomed on his face. “Heard.”
Relic lubricated two fingers with her juices, slid them inside her, and proceeded to suck her clit while finger-fucking her tight hole. He had no qualms with showing Kennedy exactly what he could make her pussy do for him.
He pressed on her lower stomach, shifting her g-spot downward before jutting and curving his fingers toward it while his tongue did tricks on her swelling bud. The swifter his fingers moved, the faster Kennedy bucked on his face, feeding her pussy to him like most women were afraid to do. Jessica was the only one who’d matched his energy in the bedroom, which was why he kept her around the longest. If she wasn’t such a snake, he might’ve given her everything he’d propositioned Kennedy with.
“You’re doing so good.” His eyes shot upward when Kennedy brought him back to the moment with that praise. “You’re eating this pussy like you want it to cum for you, Relic. Is that what you want?”
He was too taken aback to respond, but his dick had no issues speaking up for him. Pre-cum oozed from its tip.
“Tell me how good I taste. Tell me you want me to cum all over that fine ass face,” she ordered, squealing immediately after because Relic yanked her off the table.
He gripped her waist to help her stand, steadying her balance before he scooted down the couch and positioned her above him. His palm smacked her bare ass.
“Show me how much of a nasty bitch you are, and make a mess on my face.”
Kennedy’s pussy clenched at his aggression, coaxing her to palm the wall before lowering herself until she could only see blue irises glowing beneath her. Her stomach tightened as she rocked on his face while he spread her ass cheeks to lick every crevice.
“Mmm, yes. Keep eating me just like that, daddy, and this pussy gon’ cum for you so fucking good.”
A groan emitted from Relic before he fisted his crotch and shut his eyes because Kennedy had him ready to bust from her words alone.
His mind tried wandering to the last time a woman had gotten him so close to nutting, but the moans above him and drenched pussy sliding across his face wouldn’t allow him to detach. Kennedy was a big fucking distraction, stealing his attention even when he didn’t want her to. He sucked her clit harder and kneaded her ass cheeks while opening his eyes to watch her cum.
Their gazes locked as she gyrated on his face with bouncing breasts and her full lips parted in bliss. The second she released a whiny moan before her body shuddered; Relic held her at the waist and opened his mouth to catch her release.
“Shiiit,” she bleated, rolling her hips in slow circles to ride his lapping tongue. Once she wound down, she slid onto his chest and grinned. “This pussy fed you good, now she’s waiting for you to feed her.”
Relic didn’t have to hear shit else—he leapt to his feet with her pussy planted on his chest and her laughter filling the air above him. Kennedy ducked to not hit her head on the ceiling as he carried her to a small hall straight ahead and burst through a door. She yelped when he tossed her on the pentagon-shaped bed before unclasping his belt and pants to whip out his dick.
“Get on all fours, Kennedy. Show me how well you can take this dick.”
She heard him, but the thick chocolate muscle with veiny ridges jouncing in front of her sealed her lips shut. If she wasn’t a bold bitch, she’d believe she bit off more than she could chew because Relic was the biggest she’d encountered by a landslide.
With a whip of her ponytail, she flipped over and assumed the position—tooting her ass in the air as he stroked his dick while kicking off his pants. Once naked as the day he was born, Relic strolled to the bed and stretched Kennedy wide before aligning his dick at her slippery opening. They both released gratifying moans when he thrusted into her depths.
“Louvri pi laj,” Relic breathed out as he gripped her hips to push in further. “Open that pussy up and back up that bullshit you were talking.”
His dick drove in deeper, and Kennedy shivered from the intrusion but refused to back down. She gripped the sheets, arched her back, and threw her ass at him when he sped up his strokes.
“That’s what I’m talking ‘bout. Work this big muthafucka, Kennedy.” His hand slapped down on her ass hard, and she moaned before gliding along his length faster. When her cheeks fluttered while smacking his lower stomach, he admitted, “I knew you were the one, baby. Pi bon an.”
Kennedy didn’t know a fucking word he’d said, but it made her pussy wetter.
She bit her lip and looked back at him, working his dick while he planted a foot on the bed, angled his strokes, and matched her energy pound for pound. Their bodies clapping throughout the tight space heightened her arousal, and Relic pinning her with a heady stare as he beat up her pussy made her walls collapse before pressure built in her belly. He rammed her spot, and she burst like a broken fire hydrant.
“Fuuuck, Relic!” she cried, making his stare darken before he gave her ass three rough slaps in warning.
“Nah, that ain’t my name right now. What you call me?”
She reached back to palm his stomach and cooed, “Daddy, why you fucking me like this?”
His dick jerked, forcing him to pull out before he bent down to eat her from the back while gathering his composure. Relic only had one woman call him that in his life, but he loved hearing it fall from Kennedy’s sexy lips more.
“I know you’re not running from this pussy. Show me why those hoes love you so much. Put it back in.” Her voice was taunting as she called him out on his shit.
He stood to drop his dick back in her guts, and as soon as he began pounding her down, she was glazing his shaft with a fresh round of cum. His breathing heaved as her pussy made his dick vanish and reappear like a magic trick he’d never grow tired of. Kennedy throwing her ass back to accept every inch like a champ catapulted her to the top of a list he didn’t intend to put her on.
“Look at the mess you’re making,” he rumbled, slowing down to grind in her pussy as she whimpered. “You got a greedy pussy, baby. She’s taking it all and squeezing the fuck out my dick. You cumming for me again?”
Kennedy’s mouth dried, rooting her tongue in place as her body tingled from her curling toes to the tips of her fingers that clawed the bed. Relic was so fucking deep, her bladder ached. She fought through the discomfort because his dick knocking at her spot felt too good to make him stop. Her breath caught in her lungs when he pushed in as far as he could and held steady.
“If you want to finish, you better open your fucking mouth.”
“Yes, I’m cumming! You better get there with me and feed your fucking pussy.”
Her request sent his brows dipping before he clenched a handful of her ponytail, winding it around a fist to snatch back her head. She winced as his free hand clamped at her throat, causing her body to curl as he resumed pounding into her pussy.
“I ain’t the nigga to play with like that. What’s mine, Kennedy? Huh?”
Relic tried knocking her uterus out of place for playing with his head like it was his and he could have it. She squealed in pleasure and laid her hand over his, moving it from her throat to between her legs to coax him into strumming her clit in tune with his powerful thrusts.
“This is yours. You’re fucking me so damn good, you can have her,” she swore.
“I don’t want no pussy that don’t behave, Kennedy.”
“She’ll be good for you,” she panted. “Cum when you want her to and keep it tight whenever you don’t. You gotta feed her, though. Stop being stingy and feed your pussy, daddy.”
That final plea made Relic hunch forward to attack her mouth as he lost his last bit of reserve. His tongue entwined with hers and pelvic slammed against her ass from a release, he’d denied himself of, sending him over the edge. He’d practiced self-control, but a single night alone with Kennedy convinced him to drink past his limit and to reach a peak he thought clearer without having. That truth alone coaxed him to pull back and force her flat on her stomach.
Broken whimpers sounded beneath him as he pinned her to the bed, straddled her meaty thighs, and proceeded to knock the bottom out of her pussy. Her screams catapulted off the walls as he tried to fuck her through the mattress.
“Relic, fuck! You’re so muthafuckin’ deep in it, shit!”
“The fuck you say?” He smacked her ass with both hands and drilled her harder for the infraction.
“You’re fucking the shit out of me, daddy. I’m about to cum on your dick so damn hard!”
That declaration sent pressure shooting through his loins, tightening his balls and swelling his dick as he realized that she’d beat him at his own game again and with pure finesse. Relic lurched back in the nick of time and withdrew from her suffocating walls.
“Fuck!” he blurted, jerking his dick to ejaculate on her glistening skin sleeked in sweat. His heart pounded as he climbed from bed and glared at her as she turned over, frowning at his frosty expression.
“Why the hell are you looking at me like that?”
“Nothing. The door to the right is the bathroom, so you can shower. I’ll drop you home once you’re done.”
His sudden shift in temperament sent her head jerking back before her features pinched together in confusion. She lifted his covers to check beneath the sheets and then glanced at the table near his bed as he folded his arms.
“What are you doing, Kennedy?”
“Since you just fucked me and tried to kick me out like a hoe, I’m looking for my money. They usually leave it on the bed or the nightstand.”
Relic busted out laughing before he could contain it. He scratched his brow with a shake of his head, and she smirked while crawling out of bed to stand in front of him.
“Look, we’re grown. You don’t have to switch up, thinking I expect shit between us to change because I don’t.”
“Agreed. In public, you’re my partner. But in private,” he amended, giving her direct eye contact, so she’d heed his seriousness. His hand cupped the warmth between her thighs as he stressed, “You’re my bitch, Kennedy, and this is my pussy now.”
“Nigga, you’re my bitch. I fucked the shit out of you.”
He released her before saying, “Yea, aight. You heard what I said.”
Relic walked off with that, leaving her mind to process his statement while what transpired settled in the pit of her gut. The sex was great, and her pussy was spent, but the many facets of Relic she’d seen in the span of a night planted a seed of regret in her head. Kennedy grew uncertain if she could tolerate his Mr. Hyde side or live up to the titles that he’d stamped her with.
