Chapter 11

Thinking about what Benjamin had told her, Trinidad had been tempted to return to the restaurant the next day, but decided to stay firm, mentally repeating that she doesn't need Maria for anything, least of all without knowing exactly what attracts her to her.

However, the businesswoman couldn't resist her curiosity and two days later has returned to the club.

"May I say something?" asks Benjamin while dining with her.

"You'll say it anyway," responds Trinidad and smiles at him, leaning back in her chair while looking at him.

She still doesn't understand how Benjamin remains so proper after all this time with her, maintaining formalities yet taking the liberty to give her advice like a father. His dark eyes observe her with that unique mixture of respect and paternal concern that only he knows how to show.

"Wouldn't it be easier to call her and meet with her?"

Trinidad nods, drumming her fingers on the tablecloth.

"I suppose so."

"And why don't you?" tries to understand Benjamin, leaning slightly forward.

Trinidad looks at him while searching for a coherent answer to give him, but finds none.

Her thoughts are a whirlwind of doubts and contradictions.

It's probably that fear of relationships she's had for years, or the unease caused by Maria not fully trusting her, which she partly understands.

Because, regarding the lawyer, Adrian has been investigating her as requested and hasn't found anything that might worry Trinidad.

The most notable things are her divorce from a man several months ago or some rumor about Ursula and her being lovers, though Trinidad dismisses the latter after seeing how Ursula looked at the woman who was with her at the gala where she met her.

"I don't know, Benjamin," she finally responds.

"Well, I think you should do it," the bodyguard encourages her. "In my opinion, you've been alone too long, and that's not good. This is the first person you've been attracted to since I've known you and I see no reason why you shouldn't try to get to know her better. Ask her on a date."

Trinidad lets out a loud laugh and then looks at him with tenderness.

"I don't know if asking for dates is still a thing these days, Benjamin."

"Well, it works for me."

"I remind you that you've been divorced three times, so clearly something failed," she says with a playful air that Benjamin rarely sees in her.

Now it's the man who smiles and picks up his glass of tonic.

"Something failed, but I assure you it wasn't that," Benjamin winks at her.

"I'll keep that in mind."

"You know what?" he asks after taking a sip.

"Tell me," Trinidad smiles, expecting anything.

"Maybe you don't need to ask her on a formal date, maybe it's enough to just get up and approach her."

Trinidad looks at him confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Mrs. Maria just walked through the door."

"For God's sake, Benjamin, don't call her Mrs. Maria," says Trinidad amused while turning to confirm with her own eyes what the bodyguard has told her.

Maria, who has just entered the restaurant, feels something like an explosion of tingles in her chest when she spots Trinidad and sees the businesswoman suddenly turn toward the door with a spontaneous smile across her face.

The lawyer, used to that tense and permanent expression on Trinidad, almost faints with pleasure at the sight.

Trinidad provokes that point of unease because she doesn't like people who hide things, nor those who treat her with the same coldness with which she treats all the women she sleeps with, but in those two seconds their gazes lock, Maria realizes that Trinidad, despite everything, is starting to really appeal to her.

She steps aside to avoid blocking the path of another couple who has just entered and Maria composes herself maintaining a serious expression.

Although she's very aware that she came there to see her—just like last night—she doesn't want to admit it to Trinidad, so, again, she begins to walk elegantly, ready to greet her and pass by.

Trinidad slowly loses her smile while watching Maria move. The lawyer glances at her occasionally until, finally, she passes right in front of her table.

"Good evening," she says dryly, looking first at her and then at Benjamin.

"Hello, Mrs. Maria," Benjamin blurts out to Trinidad's horror, who greets Maria with a slight nod.

The lawyer returns the gesture and continues forward, until she disappears through the door.

"Would you like dessert?" the waiter appears and Trinidad looks at him dazed.

"No, just coffee for me, the lady doesn't want anything," Benjamin answers for both.

She looks at him and smiles when the waiter leaves.

"I don't want anything?" she asks narrowing her eyes.

"I've come to the conclusion that what you want can't be brought by that boy," concludes Benjamin and she can't hold back her laugh.

"I see."

"I'll wait here, remember that..."

"I have the watch, I know, Benjamin," she finishes his sentence.

Trinidad stands up and gives him a kiss on the cheek before heading toward the door.

Maria is nervous. She's stationed herself at the bar like the other day as if she were a pillar and hasn't ordered anything yet. Her eyes are fixed on the door and her heart racing waiting for Trinidad to cross it.

"May I sit?" asks an elegant man somewhat older than her, but very attractive, pointing to the stool next to Maria, who remains standing.

"You can, but not to talk to me."

He stands dumbfounded while watching her. The door opens and Trinidad enters through it.

"Is that a joke or are you serious?" tries to clarify the man, confused by Maria's attitude, unsure if she's rude or just playing femme fatale.

"I think I've been very clear," she responds without taking her eyes off the businesswoman who, despite having seen her next to a man, walks toward her with determination.

"Let me buy you a drink," Trinidad hears the man say just as she reaches Maria.

The engineer doesn't even bother to ask, simply extends a hand toward Maria and she takes it before the bewildered gaze of the man.

"Is there somewhere more discreet here?" asks Trinidad with Maria pressed against her body.

The lawyer, who feels like a heater radiating heat, pulls her along and leads her toward a narrow hallway with four doors on each side. Maria looks for an open one and both enter before the lawyer closes it.

Trinidad observes the small room barely illuminated by a few LED lights hidden in strategic points that provide both a warm and sensual atmosphere. The place consists of a large bed with gray silk sheets, a wing chair, and a display case full of toys ready to be used.

"Is this good for you?" asks Maria turning toward her.

Trinidad nods and approaches the display case with curiosity. Maria's heart races when she opens it and decisively takes out a dildo and harness and turns toward her.

"For you or for me?" asks Maria dripping.

As her only response and living up to that air of mystery that surrounds Trinidad, the businesswoman begins to put it on over her pants. Maria's heart beats so hard she can barely breathe when she approaches her and runs a hand along her neck.

This time, Trinidad lets her kiss her and the current runs through both of them as if lightning had struck their heads and exited through their feet. The kiss doesn't last long, because Trinidad breaks it to drag Maria toward the back of the chair.

"Put your hands on the backrest," her whisper travels through Maria's entire body like a breeze.

The lawyer obeys, unable to contradict her when Trinidad grabs her by the hip and pulls her back slightly, leaving Maria's bottom raised before lifting her skirt and lowering her panties until removing them when she lifts her feet.

Trinidad wraps her underwear around her wrist like a bracelet and presses against her backside.

"How do you like it?" she whispers again while running her fingers and making sure she's well lubricated.

"I'm so turned on, Trinidad," Maria pants wildly. "Fuck me hard."

Trinidad swallows hard, a jolt of arousal rushing through her as she tightens the straps around her hips.

The base of the dildo presses against her own sex, sending another pulse of pleasure through her.

She moves slowly at first, sliding in deep, all the way to the hilt.

But once she's inside, she only thrusts slowly a couple of times before giving Maria exactly what she wants.

She fucks her fiercely, her eyes glued to Maria's body as it shakes under her rhythm.

Maria moans, gasps, and comes, her hands gripping the edges of the chair with a desperation that drives Trinidad even wilder.

Trinidad pulls back, ready to unbuckle the harness and leave as quickly as she did the last time.

But Maria’s moans still echo in her mind, and she realizes she needs to hear them again.

She grabs Maria’s hand and leads her to the other side of the chair.

Trinidad sits down, and Maria climbs onto her lap, straddling her.

Maria takes the toy in her hand, positioning it at her entrance, and slowly lowers herself onto it, her eyes locked on Trinidad’s.

Trinidad’s breaths grow shallow, her heart pounding in her throat as her eyes narrow with intensity.

This time, Maria moves slower, letting her lips brush against Trinidad’s neck.

Trinidad stays rigid, gripping the armrests, her chest rising and falling quickly as Maria leans in, her lips seeking hers.

When their tongues meet, Trinidad lets out a soft moan, the first sound Maria has heard from her.

Maria's hand slides over Trinidad’s chest, her fingers trailing lightly before pressing down on her left nipple. Trinidad shudders at the touch.

Maria pulls back from the kiss, studying her face, and for the first time, she notices something unexpected a flicker of fear in Trinidad’s eyes.

"Do you want me to stop?" Maria asks, halting the slow grind of her hips, worried that, for some reason she can’t yet understand, Trinidad might be feeling uncomfortable.

"No," Trinidad replies firmly, grabbing Maria’s hips with both hands, urging her to move again.

Maria can’t look away from Trinidad's eyes now. There’s something in them that holds her captive, something that makes her forget about whatever Trinidad might be hiding.

Her second orgasm builds slower this time.

Maria realizes that if she moves gently, applying just the right pressure, Trinidad’s body reacts.

Her breathing quickens, her chest rising and falling more sharply.

Maria adjusts her movements, finding a rhythm that matches Trinidad’s, until she feels the empresaria’s entire body tense.

Trinidad presses her lips together, holding back a groan, but the soft, stifled sighs escape through her nose in a way that fascinates Maria completely.

When she catches her breath, Maria stands up and moves away, because the coldness has returned to Trinidad and the businesswoman can't look at her anymore. Trinidad loosens the straps and removes the harness before standing up.

"I'll see you around, Maria," she says when she reaches the door.

Maria rides between disappointment and frustration, neither understanding Trinidad's attitude nor herself, but again, tries to show the same coldness as the businesswoman.

"Aren't you giving me back my underwear?" she asks with an arched eyebrow.

Trinidad looks at her wrist and the left corner of her lip curves up.

"I don't think so," she says and opens the door.

Maria can't help a smile of satisfaction when she watches her leave.
