Chapter 20

TLALLI

P redator and prey.

Those were the roles Cahuani and Tlalli had adopted upon entering the play party hosted by the one they called Reaper. Tlalli had been surprised to find Reaper was actually not a demon, contrary to her assumption, but proved quite adept in his line of work regardless. He could certainly plan a party. Tlalli almost wished she and Cahuani could fully join it, but she had faith that playing out the theme on their own would be just as fun.

As she ran, Tlalli pictured the bear barreling through the forest in search of her, eager to tear into her supple flesh. She could feel Cahuani’s heart thudding alongside hers, his excitement strumming her veins like a most familiar instrument. All that power pulsed between them, and the faster she moved from place to place, the more certain she was that he would catch her.

Oh, how badly she wanted him to catch her.

“You run as if you’re not aching for my cock inside you.”

His voice was a low growl in the back of her head, knocking half the breath from her lungs. Michael’s god had never spoken to her, but she could not imagine anything or anyone sounding more divine than Cahuani did in that moment.

“But you want to pretend, don’t you?” he went on. “You want me to take it from you. You want to play the game for real.”

She whimpered and faltered in her stride. She hadn’t really inspected her extended interest in the theme of the party, nor had she questioned the ease with which she opted to call herself prey. Although her willing vulnerability was for Cahuani and Cahuani alone, there was an admission of sorts that came with the choice. One she was not yet prepared to say outright.

And... Well, it wasn’t for Cahuani alone, was it? Because this desire to be taken had stemmed from her earlier entanglement with Elias, and while she’d refused to acknowledge the small part of her that wanted him to catch her out here in this forest, she knew it was there. It reared its ugly head every time she turned a corner.

“Yes,” she confessed in spite of herself.

“Then I will,” Cahuani said. “I’ll take it from you. Just remind me: What’s the safe word, princess?”

She nearly tripped trying to squeeze her legs together as she dashed down a row of trees and through a small clearing. It felt as if the walls were closing in. “Apostate,” she repeated.

“Good girl.”

The moment his voice cut away, she suddenly felt trapped, like if she looked over her shoulder, she would see him there with a switch in hand. The image brought her as much fear as it did pleasure.

Yeah, she really did like this. For too long her fear had been weaponized by others. Now it was hers alone, wielded entirely for her pleasure.

Suddenly, she collided with a massive object that she assumed was a tree. Until she realized that the massive object had actually collided with her —a mountain of dark fur, streaked silver in the moonlight. It was damp from the rain, but it smelled only of Cahuani and the soft earth she now lay in beneath him.

By the time she turned over, Cahuani’s form was human again, his bare skin slick with rain and sweat alike. His cock stood at attention between them, a threat and a promise, and Tlalli’s stomach twisted into a sea of knots she knew damn well he could work out if given the chance.

Still, she stuck to the game and started to scramble away from him. He took a firm hold of her ankle and dragged her right back, his inhuman strength and ancient magic overpowering her vessel with ease.

“Where are you goin’, princess?” he asked slowly, his voice low yet strong enough to overcome the storm swirling around them.

She didn’t answer, instead twisting around and attempting to claw her way across the ground. She kicked her free foot at him, but he grabbed that, too, then yanked her closer until he could press a hand between her shoulder blades. The head of his cock pressed against the seam of her ass, and she bit down hard on her tongue to suppress the moan that bubbled in her throat. How could she even pretend she did not want this man to possess every inch of her that he could?

A moan cut through her lips as he swept his fingers through her folds, collecting her arousal upon the tips. Then he leaned close enough for her to catch those fingers disappearing into his mouth. Her hips rolled against the ground of their own volition, the ruse in peril. She was ready to beg if he asked. Luckily, he didn’t.

“You wanna say the word?” he said softly.

She spat into the dirt beside her head. He only chuckled before ramming the full length of his shaft inside her eager cunt.

The game fell apart pretty soon after, her praises of him filling the air until they conquered the rush of rain assaulting the clearing. He was rough, so very rough, but there was always that unrelenting assurance, a reminder that he was not Anthony and she was safe under Cahuani’s dominion. It was all she’d ever wanted, and this man handed it to her with an unmatched ease.

If she’d known this was what it meant to be damned, she would have fallen long ago.

She was only just claimed by her first orgasm when he slid out of her, turned her around, and pulled her up into his lap. He slipped right back into her pussy with ease and was welcomed with warm hugs and sharp spasms that had him pumping up into her eagerly. She would’ve thanked him for how thorough he was if she’d been able to get any breath into her lungs.

Though once her eyes rolled back into place and she could take him in, she was again speechless. His focus was evident despite the pleasure contorting his beautiful features. He slapped a hand against her ass and bounced her higher in his lap, hitting every spot he knew he needed to and then some. All she could do was wrap her arms around his neck and hold on for dear life, her legs still too numb to help out in any meaningful way. Not that he seemed to need aid.

All of a sudden, she could feel eyes on her, piercing her skin in a way she had never quite known. It was so intense that at first, amidst the feelings Cahuani was already inciting, she could not tell if it was good or bad. The cordial mixture of fear and thrill in her convinced her Anthony was there, that he had finally been able to track them down and catch them in the act. Part of her reveled in the possibility. Part of her loathed the idea of an interruption.

After forcing her eyes open, she saw Cahuani’s eyes fixed over her shoulder, and she was certain he’d seen Anthony. She reluctantly prepared to move into fight mode. Then Cahuani spoke.

“Come to see my good girl in action, Elias?”

“Honestly?” Elias returned, sending chills down Tlalli’s spine. “I came to take her.”

“And why would you feel the need to do that? If you want a go, you need only ask.”

“Why would you want to share with me?”

“I think it’s more the fact that she does not mind being shared.”

“Is that right?”

Cahuani picked Tlalli straight up off him and turned her around in his arms to face Elias.

Elias’s eyes were on her as he stepped out from the shadows. The grotesque scarlet glow of his lust twisted around the base gold of his aura. Everything about him looked exactly the same, and yet . . . everything about him had changed.

His features were sharper, though his true form also seemed to be spilling out on all sides, the edges of his majestic white-gold wings growing more visible by the moment. Selfishly, she took off her proverbial rose-tinted glasses and gasped as she was graced with clarity. His divine form bloomed before her, his wings outstretched. And she realized his human eyes were not the only ones fixed upon her. All of them were.

“Tell him your safe word, princess,” Cahuani hissed in her ear.

As if he’d pulled a string, it came fluttering from her lips at once. Elias acknowledged it with a nod. She doubted he’d forgotten since this afternoon regardless. He seemed to mouth it in time with her recitation.

Another gasp of surprise escaped her as Cahuani moved backward and laid her down on the ground before him. Though once she realized what he was doing, she eagerly parted her legs, a personal invite that Elias was acutely aware of, given the glint in his eyes.

It was then that Tlalli realized just how badly she wanted this. All of it, everything. Elias was here, and Cahuani was, too, neither of them asking her to choose between angels and demons, mortals and the divine. They were handing her the whole world without any demand for payment, and she would be a fool not to take it.

She did not allow herself to question what it meant that Elias was here, nor would she entertain the idea that Cahuani had known this was coming. Instead, she took this for what it was, giving herself over to them and this fantasy they had begun to weave.

Still, she couldn’t help but hope as Elias approached her, his clothes falling away and his wings fluttering at his back: maybe he did want out. Maybe she could save him.

“Go on,” Cahuani urged. “Have a try.”

Elias’s eyes remained on hers as he sank to his knees between her thighs. “What about a taste?”

She was nodding before she could think about it, and then his head disappeared between her thighs as his wings brushed against her skin and brought her to life. The connection between them was suddenly ablaze with information, secrets and sensations that felt like tiny electric shocks across her skin. She could feel it all: his need and desperation, his infallible gratitude. All the feelings she had thought him incapable of played like a song in her head, ages of emotions uncorked inside of him, inside of her. It felt like praise. It felt like worship.

No one who stumbled across them would see their divine forms illuminating the space. Yet anyone who came across them would see Elias devouring her pussy with an eager tongue and agile fingers.

Her back arched as she called out, but Cahuani kept her shoulders pressed to the ground, her luscious moan bouncing off his barrel chest.

“Is that enough for you, princess?” Cahuani questioned before lowering his head beside hers and brushing his lips along her forehead. “Or do you need more?”

“More,” she grunted as she reached down and tangled her fingers in Elias’s curls.

“What do you say?” Cahuani asked.

“Please!”

Elias met her plea with haste, his tongue elongating and swelling inside her, the bridge of his nose pressing against her clit. She bucked wildly, Cahuani alone keeping her rooted to the ground, as Elias pushed her toward the precipice and robbed her of all control. When Elias’s tongue pulled out, Cahuani slapped her clit, the two of them falling into sync with such ease that she was almost convinced they had planned this beforehand.

“How’s that?” Cahuani asked when she had become nothing more than a mess of moans. “Too much? Too little?”

She tried to shake her head, but it was so heavy with lust. “Just—right.”

“Mm, good girl.”

Then Elias pushed two fingers into her wet cunt, and when she opened her mouth to cry out, Cahuani leaned over her and shoved his cock down her throat.
