CHAPTER ELEVEN

DOM

Getting through classes the next day proved especially difficult. Even with Stray being his usual jackass self. It wasn’t quite enough to distract me. All I could think about was making a move against Noah. After what he did last night, I had to do something.

I’d paid enough attention to know that he often left campus an hour or so before Damon. They weren’t taking the same classes. Today I would be leaving a little early as well.

I didn’t say a word to Stray or anyone else about my intentions.

Although after telling Auryn about the hit request I’d received, I did tell the rest of my friends about it as well.

Rebel had been suspicious, wanting to know who made the request. He didn’t want me to make any rash moves until we had that information.

Fair enough. I would do my best to hold back, although I couldn’t promise anything.

Still, I needed Noah to realize he was playing with fire here. I wouldn’t be stalked through town by him, and I sure as hell wouldn’t be intimidated.

I left campus half an hour before Noah. He and Damon had recently moved out of the larger frat house they had shared with Colt and River.

Since Colt and River were now dead, the other two had downsized to a smaller place a few blocks from campus.

It hadn’t been hard to get the address. One of the cheerleaders who occasionally hooked up with Damon handed it over without issue.

Knowing better than to leave my car on the street, I parked two blocks over and walked. The semi-automatic tucked into the back of my jeans under my hoodie was a constant reminder of what I’d come to do.

I probably wouldn’t kill Noah today. Not only because Rebel had asked me not to yet but because I wasn’t finished with this game Noah insisted we were playing. He had made his move last night, and now I was making mine.

The neighborhood was quiet. Everyone was still at work or school. A few doorbell cameras might have seen me walk past. I didn’t care.

The house Noah and Damon shared was much smaller than their last place.

A four-level split with more than enough room for the two of them, though quite not the massive frat house they had once occupied.

Matching bushes off to either side of the front door made it all too easy to stay out of sight while I waited.

Even though I’d checked the gun before getting out of my car, I pulled it out, unloading and reloading the magazine. Pulling back the slide to study the bullet in the chamber. I gripped the handle tight, feeling the gun’s weight in my hand.

As much as I loved to pull the trigger at the right place and time, there was something about Noah that made me want to be more hands-on. I suspected that choking the life out of him would feel so much better than putting a bullet in his head.

The sound of a car pulling into the driveway cut through my dark fantasy. Shoving the gun back into my jeans, I waited until I heard Noah get out of the car and approach the front door. That’s when I made my move.

I emerged from behind the bush, coming up behind Noah as he reached the front door. Before he got his key out, I wrapped my arm around his neck from behind and dragged him around the side of the house.

He started to struggle, grabbing for my arm in an effort to pry it off his neck. Then the fight went out of him as he allowed me to spin him around, pasting him against the house. Like he knew it was me.

Not giving him a chance to speak, I pulled my gun, pressing the barrel to his temple. “You fucked up last night, Cunningham. I’m not sure what your goal was, but now you have my full attention. Is this what you wanted?”

Noah studied my face, his eyes locking with mine. “Maybe. Didn’t you tell me to stay away from you? Kind of funny that you were waiting for me at my house, isn’t it?”

“You don’t get to question me. Not after stalking me through town. You need to realize that you’re playing a dangerous game here. How far are you willing to go, Noah?” I pressed the gun harder into his temple.

Not once did he take his gaze off my face. “Are you going to kill me, Dom? Go ahead then. Pull the trigger. Unless you can’t do it and this is all for show.”

This motherfucker was as cocky as they came. Even though we both knew how easily I could pull the trigger, Noah remained fearless. I was overcome with the sudden urge to beat the arrogance right out of him.

“I am definitely going to kill you,” I promised. “Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But it’s going to happen. I’m taking my time. I don’t want to rush it and rob myself of the satisfaction.”

A slow grin spread across his face. “So you like a good edging then? I get it. Nothing ruins the big O of a sweet kill quite like rushing it. As long as you’re holding me at gunpoint, we might as well both get something out of it.”

Noah boldly grabbed my cock through my pants. My breath caught. My already hard cock strained against my jeans, seeking more of his touch.

I should pull the trigger. Blow his fucking brains all over the side of the house. Yet I stood there frozen in place, unable to move. Not even when he worked his hand inside my pants and wrapped his fingers around my hard on.

“Relax a little, Dom,” Noah said, his voice low and husky. “Goddamn you’re hard as a fucking rock.”

He stroked up and down my length. His thumb running over the head, smearing precum around. I should’ve stopped him. I should’ve punched him in the face or blown a hole in his head. I couldn’t bring myself to do anything but stand there while he jerked me off.

The cold outside air was completely forgotten. I barely felt it biting my cheeks and nose. My entire focus was on the way Noah’s hand felt. How fucking good every stroke was. Making my gun hand tremble.

I kept the barrel pressed against his temple. Needing to maintain that sense of control I’d established. Without it, I would be at his mercy, and I wouldn’t allow that to happen.

“Since you haven’t blown my head off yet, I’ll take that as a sign you wanted this as bad as I did.” Noah leaned in to brush his lips against mine. “Let’s not pretend we didn’t both know it would come to this.”

There was no holding back the moan that escaped me. He gripped me with the right amount of pressure. Gliding his hand up and down my shaft, teasing my sensitive head every few strokes. My balls tightened. I willed myself not to come right then and there.

“If you think jerking me off changes anything, you’re in for a big surprise.” I barely got the words out.

Noah smirked. “It doesn’t have to change anything. There’s no rule that two enemies can’t share an orgasm or two.”

“There should be.” My words ended on a groan.

Noah’s chuckle was downright devious as he stroked me faster. “I don’t see you protesting. What’s stopping you from pulling that trigger?”

Good question. I had only one answer for that. “You haven’t made me come yet.”

“Well in that case, maybe I should stop.” He started to pull away.

I grabbed his arm with my free hand, holding it in place. “I suggest you finish what you started. You really don’t want to piss me off anymore.”

Amusement lit up Noah’s face. “If I didn’t want to see the face you make when you come so bad, I would leave you hanging. It’s the least you deserve.”

He jerked me faster, working my cock with perfect precision. There was nothing I could do to hold back. He quickly brought me over the edge. I bit down on my bottom lip. My cock jerking as I filled his hand with cum.

Noah’s gaze dropped to my lips as he murmured, “God, you are sexy as hell when you come.”

He seized my mouth in a fierce kiss. His tongue gliding along my lower lip before sliding into my mouth.

The woodsy with a hint of citrus scent of him made me ache to sink my teeth into him.

As we kissed, he withdrew his hand from my pants, careful not to smear the contents of his palm all over me.

I find it hard to believe I had allowed that to happen.

Needing to stop myself before I took it further, I broke off the kiss and pulled away.

The bruises on his face from last night stopped me from punching him in the face again.

My eyes went to the healing cut on his neck.

It made me want to mark him up even more.

Clutching my gun, I took a few steps backward.

Noah watched me intently. Bringing his cum soaked hand to his lips, he flicked his tongue over his fingertips, tasting me. “Eventually, one of us will have to end this. You know that, don’t you?”

“Yeah.” I nodded, continuing to back away. “Eventually.”
