Chapter 15

OKAY, NIKE

ETHAN

I froze with terror hearing her brother's footsteps marching toward her room.

If Karan found me hovering above his very naked little sister, I would have to prepare my own funeral.

And no one would come. Karan trusted me with her life and to protect her and scare other guys away when he was not with her.

But, now, look at me. Enjoying my own dessert by teasing her.

“I am going to die,” I whispered, looking into her dilated brown eyes.

Kiara smacked my arm. “Hide. Now.”

Yes, hide. As if that would help me with my impending doom.

I heard his footsteps coming closer and my heartbeat increased. I was about to dive under her bed when she wore her crumpled T-shirt without the bra. I noticed her panties and shorts on the floor, which I had carelessly thrown a few moments ago.

The bad part of me wanted to keep them, but I handed them to her, rolling under the bed with my belt. I took a sharp breath when I heard the shuffle of blankets, knowing she used them to cover her body, and held my breath when the door of her room opened.

I bit my lip when I saw the dark jeans entering her room.

“Hey, Kia, I needed to talk—are you taking a nap?”

I heard Kiara grumble sleepily and for a second, I wondered if she did fall asleep because I knew I exhausted her.

“What do you want, Karan? I am taking a power nap.”

“Okay, we will talk later then.” He was about to leave when he stopped, and my heartbeat skyrocketed. “Why are you sweating so much? Are you ill?”

Well, you see, Karan, I gave your little sister a small workout, which included her lying on her bed while I did things to her and her body. Bad things.

I shuffled a bit to pat Eiffel down because giving orgasm after orgasm to Kiara was one of the best things I ever did, and I could keep doing that forever. Down, boy.

“I . . . I—no. I’m fine. It’s fine. I just did a heavy workout before taking a nap so . . .” She cleared her throat.

Heavy workout? Mhmm, sure.

I knew he was suspicious. “Yeah, sure. We will talk later. Where are Mom and Dad, by the way?”

“They went to the temple,” Kiara replied.

Why do I feel bad knowing that I did bad things to their daughter when they were in a temple?

“All right,” he muttered, leaving the room, and closed the door behind him.

I rolled out from under the bed. “Heavy workout?” I asked, grinning and wiggling my eyebrows at her.

A pillow smashed in my face and I let out a small chuckle. “Shut up. I do feel tired and sore now,” she grumbled, curling in a ball with her blanket.

I made her bed, straightening the wrinkled sheets, and kissed her forehead.

“Take some rest, okay? Maybe a hot bath.” I looked at her bathroom door and down at her face.

Her eyes were closed. I leaned down and brushed her hair away from her face and asked, “Do you want me to run you a bath, Bella? I know you’re sore and it will help ease it. ”

“No, you don’t need to do that, Ethan.” Kiara smiled, dimples poking her cheeks as she gazed at me. “I swear you’re the sexiest and cutest guy ever. Come here.”

My cheeks and neck warmed with blood. I kissed her eagerly when her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me down.

Our kiss was gentle and soft as I cupped her cheek, tasting her soft lips.

After a moment I leaned my forehead against hers.

I knew that if I didn't stop kissing her, Karan might enter her room again or worse, we’d never stop, leading to other things.

“Don't forget to complete your homework.” I kissed away her frown for one last time and stood up from her bed. “See you tomorrow, Bella.”

I climbed out of her window with my notes and walked on the fire exit, getting inside my room from my window. I could do this with my eyes closed because we both had done this over a million times. Sneaking into each other's room to watch a movie, cuddle, and study together.

I took a shower and remembered Kiara on her bed. Her wrists tied with my belt, chest heaving, legs trembling, and her lips screaming my name as I gave her orgasms after orgasms. It was so vivid that I could paint her.

My cock twitched thinking about her lying naked on the bed.

Trailing my hand down my abs, I cupped myself under the stream of warm water jets.

I let out a small groan, squeezing myself.

Her pleas and moans when I kissed her breasts rang in my ears and I closed my eyes, stroking myself with a firm grip.

“Oh, fuck,” I grunted, remembering her curves and her eyes. God, her eyes. The brown in them was almost gone, turning onyx, her pupils dilated as they glistened with the tears of pleasure.

I let out a low groan and jerked in my hand as shudders and tremors of pleasure passed through my body. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes, looking down at the mess I made in the shower. Shaking my head, I cleaned myself and changed into clean T-shirt and sweatpants.

When I took out the T-shirt from the drawer, I saw the small ultrasound hidden underneath it and took a sharp breath.

I took it out and smiled at him. He was my little brother when my mom, Julia, got pregnant when I was thirteen.

I remember Kiara and I were so excited that we had decided we would look after him together.

Unfortunately, my mother got a miscarriage and we never got to meet him.

My mothers gave me the ultrasound copy when they came back from the hospital that day and explained to me what had happened.

I didn’t cry until I saw Kiara waiting for me in my room and hugged her, sobbing in her new purple T-shirt.

We cried together and didn’t say anything when I ruined her T-shirt with my tears.

She stayed with me when other kids bullied me after knowing my brother was no more and called me a monster because of my eye color and told me he died because of me.

Kiara threw her sandal at them when one of the kids held my shirt, ready to punch me.

They all got detention and after that, no one dared to bully me.

I smiled at the memory and kept the photo back in the drawer, closing it. The doorbell rang and a grin tugged at the corner of my lips when I saw who it was.

“Hey, Ma. And Mom. Evey, come here!” I always called Helen, my biological mother by Ma and Julia, Eveline’s mother by Mom. So, when I called for one of them, both wouldn't come running toward me.

Eveline squealed as soon as I took her in my arms. Her tiny, chubby, and soft arms clutched my T-shirt. I pecked her blond curls, her baby smell wafting in my nose, and smiled down at her.

“I missed you too, Evey.”

“She really did. We could barely calm her after the video call,” Mom said and leaned on her toes to hug me. “How were you?”

Helen, my ma, chuckled, kissing my cheek, and I reddened. “I was fine, Mom.” More than fine, actually.

“Looks like Kiara took really good care of you.” They smirked and Eveline started patting my jaw, babbling in her small voice.

I didn't miss a beat. “Yes, she did.” I blushed and stuttered, “U-uh, I mean, the lunch was pretty good.”

And so was the dessert.

They grinned at my nervousness and after feeding Eveline in my lap, I took her to her nursery room, telling her a story until she fell asleep in her crib.

Kissing her cheek for the last time, I adjusted her blankets and walked in the kitchen, clearing my throat because my mothers were flirting with each other.

They asked me about the first day of school, studies, my swim training, how my friends were doing, especially Kiara. I helped cooking the dinner, talking to them about Aunt and her sons but apparently, both of my heads were somewhere else.

I had to keep my mind from wandering toward Kiara.

* * *

Later that night, I completed my assignments and organized my clothes for tomorrow morning with my swim duffle bag. I couldn't sleep. I tried counting sheep, crows, and cows, which didn't work. So, I started thinking about Kiara and how many times I had made her come, screaming my name.

Which didn't help me at all. It was harder to sleep now.

I heard the shuffling near my window. I grinned, knowing well who it’d be. I sat up and saw Kiara shuffle through my curtains and walk toward my bed. I turned on the nightstand lamp and gazed at her. She was only wearing a large gray T-shirt and nothing else. Jesus.

“Hi,” Kiara whispered, closing her eyes and standing between my legs. She leaned closer, her cold hands cupping my jaw, making me shiver.

My arms instantly wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer, and kissed her cheek. “Hi. Can't sleep?” I murmured, groaning when her hands feathered my hair.

“I slept the whole afternoon and—"

I stopped, looking at her eyes for the first time since she entered my room. They were red and swollen, glistening with tears.

“Were you crying?” I asked, my voice hard.

Kiara froze and looked away, shaking her head. “It's nothing, Ethan. Don't worry.” Her voice was small and hoarse as if she had been crying for a while.

Why didn’t I notice that before?

I gently touched her cheek and made her look at me. “It’s not nothing. Your eyes are red. What happened? And don't you dare lie to me.”

“I am telling you, it's nothing and none of your business.”

My arms tightened around her. “It is my business if you are in it.” I asked with a soft voice, my fingers brushing her cheek, “What happened, Bella?”

She finally met my eyes and hugged me. A sob pierced from her throat as her arms around my neck tightened. My throat clogged hearing the crack in her voice and I hugged her back.

“Hey, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.”

I felt like shit making her cry.

“Rachel broke up with Karan,” Kia sniffled, hiding her face in the crook of my neck, and I sighed in relief.

Rachel was Karan’s girlfriend for over three years and for everyone they were the it couple. Kiara was close to both of them and I knew she took it pretty hard.
