Chapter 23
She Walks Like a Boss, Talks Like a Boss
Double
Tinsley covered the tip of my dick in the warm wetness of her mouth.
Slowly, her tongue moved over my rigidness.
Her breath was warm when she popped me out of her mouth and blew softly on the opening.
Pre-cum oozed out, and she swiped it up with her tongue, opening her mouth wide to show it to me before humming softly.
Then she slid me into her throat, letting me feel her tonsils while she gagged.
“Um. You taste so good.” She released me from her confines to speak, but soon enough, the head of my dick disappeared again.
I fought with myself to keep from grabbing her hair. “Oh yeah?” I questioned through gritted teeth. “What it taste like, Sweetheart?”
“Heaven. Something I want in my mouth all the time.” She licked my shaft from the tip to the base.
“And you smell so damn good. Manly. Like big muscles and good dick.” She nuzzled her face in my balls.
That was something I didn’t expect. Jealousy gripped my chest for a second.
Who the fuck taught her how to be so good at giving head?
Was there some other nig—She interrupted my thoughts when her moist mouth enveloped my entire dick.
“Shit!” slipped from my mouth before I could catch it.
Tinsley was the only woman on Earth who had the ability to make me lose complete control.
Her small hands worked my shaft while she paid attention to the head, occasionally swallowing me whole.
She was a master at sucking dick. She had taken to it like a fish took to water.
She sucked me in a way that let me feel the reverence she had for me through the way she took her time.
She never rushed, never treated the act like it was something she couldn’t wait to get done doing.
She licked and sucked me like she had all the time in the world.
However much I loved her before she kneeled in front of me, that shit always multiplied by a thousand when she had me in her mouth. This was my sweetheart. My baby. My wife. She gave me head like I was the king of her world.
“The way I love you, Sweetheart, . . . I’m not sure if you’ll ever even understand,” I told her.
Her watery eyes met mine. Even as the messy bun on top of her head unraveled, saliva trickled down her chin, and the girth of my dick stretched her swollen lips to their limits, she was beautiful. My normally put-together Tinsley looked so disheveled and so fucking radiant.
Thoughts about her beauty, her goodness, and my love for her caused me to speed up my thrusts. She hollowed out her cheeks. The muscles throughout my body began to tense while my head began to spin. Then I erupted into my sweetheart’s mouth while she greedily swallowed.
I eased myself from her mouth while pulling her to her feet. “Sweetheart.” I kissed her lips and held her close to me. “I love you. You mean the fucking world to me. You’re the love of a lifetime.”
“Same,” she whispered.
We moved to the bed, and I positioned myself between her legs.
Before she could say another word, I’d slipped inside of her.
Sinking into Tinsley was the headiest feeling on Earth.
Her pussy was wetter, tighter, warmer, and gushier than any pussy had the right to be.
Her pussy was home for me. When I was buried deep inside her, giving her strokes, her pussy always treated me like it was welcoming me back.
I covered her mouth with mine and kissed her deeply.
“I love you,” she said when I finally let her breathe.
“Do you really?” I gritted out the words from behind clenched teeth with my face buried in the crook of her neck.
“I do. I swear I do.” Her words were wrapped up in groans and hums that sounded like sweet melodies to my ears.
I smiled to myself because I believed her.
“Ugh, today’s a big day. I didn’t really have time for all of that lovemaking we did this morning.”
I chuckled. “Why’d you say it like that? Like we weren’t really making love?”
She shot me a grin as she moved through the kitchen at top speed, holding the hanger of the garment bag that contained her ball gown above her head.
It had been four months since we’d returned from that trip to Iredia, and in that time, my wife had truly blossomed.
I felt like she had come into herself. She was more settled, more confident, and more kick ass than I’d ever seen her.
I loved any version of her, but I really loved the self-assured Tinsley.
“Your breakfast smoothie is right here.” I pushed the travel mug filled with the healthy concoction toward her. “I made it while you were in the shower.”
She slowed for the first time since she’d entered the kitchen. She gave me a pretty smile and kissed me lightly on the lips before grabbing the drink. “Thanks, Bookie.”
“You’re welcome. You need a ride?” Initially, she wanted to hold the Halloween Sneaker Ball at Mahogany Hall, but as the tickets sold, she realized the space wouldn’t be large enough.
She ended up finding the perfect venue in the South Loop and had to meet her team down there to make sure that everything was good for the evening’s event.
“Nah. I’m good.”
I no longer drove her around the city or made her stay tucked up under me.
After her experience in Iredia, she came back ready to get serious about self-defense.
She even had me take her out to Lucky’s shooting range once a week.
I knew I wasn’t dealing with the same Tinsley that had arrived from Iredia in January, when she asked for a Sig Sauer pistol as a birthday present. She called it Precious.
“But if you’re not busy, I could always use another set of hands on deck.”
I winked at her. “I got time. Let me grab my suit. I’m presuming we can change at the venue.”
“We can. Now, move your feet, Handsome. I’ve got somewhere to be.”
“Oh, okay. Let’s make moves.”
The two of us donned our shoes, locked up the house, and made our way to her SUV. She handed me her keys. “You drive. I have too much on my mind.”
I climbed into the driver’s seat and started the truck. Once we were on the expressway and headed toward the destination, I spoke. “What’s the thing you’re most worried about today?”
“Can I say everything?”
“Everything?”
“Well,” she hedged, “not everything. The vendors your grandparents provided were top-notch.”
“If there’s one thing you gotta give to Big Hill and Tiny, it’s that they’re classy as hell.”
“As hell. The décor is gorgeous. And the menu? Oh, the food is going to be so good. I guess my biggest fear is a vendor backing out or being late. Something not coming off like we thought it would come off.” She glanced over at me. “Some of the vendors are teenagers.”
“Word?”
She sighed. “Yes. I thought it would be good for . . . representation. You know, the kids get to see somebody who looks like them, who’s not too much older than them, doing something important at a gala.”
“Which vendors are teenagers?”
“We have two DJs, so one of the DJs. The MC, and one of the two photographers.”
“That’s what’s up. I think that sounds dope, and I’m sure everything will work out. You got this, Mrs. Waters. Your first event is gonna leave the people talkin’.”
“In a good way, though, right?”
I kind of wanted to laugh at how stressed she sounded. “In a good way, Sweetheart.”
As the event wound down, Tinsley, my grandparents, my parents, and I found ourselves mingling in the lobby near the exit.
As guests prepared to depart, the vast majority of them made sure to stop by and let one or the other of the women know how much they enjoyed the event.
Many commented on the décor, the food, and the fact that their children actually enjoyed a gala for the first time ever.
Tinsley was all smiles, and I could feel her confidence grow even more with each compliment.
Once the venue was empty of guests, my grandparents and my mother hugged Tinsley.
“Girl, you say you owned an event design business on Iredia, and it showed tonight. This event was everything,” my mother gushed.
“You thought of everything—activities for the kids, food for the kids, mocktails for the kids. When I saw that bar cart set up next to the actual bar, I was lost for a moment. Then I saw kids coming up, ordering drinks. It was too cute! And I think the parents were impressed. Most of them looked so surprised to see something like that for the kids.”
Everybody nodded, and Tinsley beamed.
“My favorite thing was the made-to-order stations for the kids,” my father said.
“When ours were little, they never liked the food at these types of events. They always played over it, and when we would get home, Passion would either have to cook something, or we would have to stop for food on the way home. That was a brilliant idea.”
“Well, I’ve never met a child who doesn’t like French fries,” Tinsley said. “I knew if they wouldn’t eat anything else, they would eat fries.”
“All I can say is that, with this event, you’ve garnered our full confidence that you’re capable of being our in-house event designer.
On Monday, I need you to start thinking about how many people you’ll need on staff to be successful.
Because as much as she loves helping out, I need for my wife to sit down.
She helped with this event, but this was her first and last time as your assistant. ”
“I did enjoy it, though.” Lynne gave Tinsley another hug.
“Thank you for everything you did to help make this event a success.” Tinsley hugged her back.
“It’s been a long day. Let’s head out,” Big Hill suggested.
We said our goodbyes outside the venue, giving hugs, and wishing safe trips home. Then I walked Tinsley to her SUV and held the door as she climbed in.
“I’m so proud of you, Sweetheart,” I told her once I had my seat belt secured and started to pull out of the parking lot.
“My mind was blown by the way you transformed the space into an . . . experience. The thought and the detail. No wonder you were the baddest event designer on Iredia. No wonder that Big Worm nigga wanted you and your partner to do his wedding. You’re amazing. ”
She laughed. “Big Worm? Stop,” she said, bending at the waist as she giggled. “With the right budget, and the right vendors—”
I cut her off. “Don’t do that. Don’t downplay your skills and abilities.
You’re the shit.” I shook my head. “When I said that I just wanted somebody ambitious, pretty, loyal, and motivated with a good heart, I never envisioned that somebody like you existed. You’re the answer to a prayer that I didn’t even know there was really an answer to. I just had hope.”
I could feel the heat of her gaze on the side of my face, so at the stoplight, I glanced over at her, and our eyes met. I winked at her, and she blushed.
“When I asked God to rescue me from Gretchen and Sterling Gillespie, I never expected Him to send you. I prayed to fall asleep and never wake up. I didn’t think anybody could help me.” She took a beat. “Do you know what my first thought was when I saw you for the first time?”
“Nah.”
“That you were too damn fine.”
I laughed. “And I thought that you were shaped like a Coke bottle, just curvy as hell for no damn reason.”
“But when I got to know you, Double Waters, I realized that your outer beauty and your inner beauty were one and the same.”
“And when I got to know you, Tinsley Waters, I knew that Sterling Gillespie damn sure didn’t deserve you, but neither did I.”
“You deserve me,” she said quietly.
“Not yet, but I’m workin’ on it.”
She picked up my hand from where it rested on her thigh and kissed the back of it. “I’m thankful that if I had to marry a stranger, to avoid marrying a different stranger, that the stranger was you.”
“Me too, Sweetheart. Me, too.”
