Chapter Thirty-Seven

Troy

My feet slip on the frozen grass a handful of times. By the time I’ve got Wes’s car all the way in the lake, I’ve face-planted against the bumper at least seven times.

At least the body’s in the water. Hopefully being dragged to the bottom by gators as we speak.

Never dumped a body before. The reality of it chills me more than the cold front. At least I found another shirt to wear in the gym bag on Wes’s passenger seat.

The sound of running footsteps has me raising the gun I took from Rigby. I drop it to my side as fast as I can when I realize the person running toward me is Wes.

“Fuck me.” Then I’m running too.

We crash together in a tangle of limbs, Adam pulling up the rear.

Wes presses his lips to mine. “You’re okay. Thank God you’re okay.”

I pull back, scanning him for damage under the moonlight. “Me? Kitten, you’re the one who smashed your car and then passed the fuck out.”

“The doctor said it was something called syncope,” Adam says.

Wes nods. “Too much adrenaline. I’m fine. Sorry I scared you.”

“No sorries.” My fingers tangle in Adam’s hair. My other arm wraps around Wes’s waist. I’m freezing, and I can’t get close enough to them.

I pull back. “So fucking glad you guys are okay. You are, right? You’re both okay?”

“We’re okay.” Wes shivers against me, pulling us close. Then he straightens, eyes wide. “What did you do with Rigby?”

I hook my thumb toward the lake. “Let’s say all those gators in there will eat well tonight.”

Adam doesn’t look at all surprised. Wes, though, takes a second.

“Oh. God.” His body crumples to the grass. “Jesus, you shouldn’t have had to do that.”

“You saved us, Kitten; least I could do was handle cleanup.”

“Like when one of us cooks dinner, the other cleans up,” Adam offers.

“That’s not at all the same,” Wes almost whines.

“Hey.” I get on my knees in front of him. Give his cheek a playful, gentle slap. “He deserved it. I’d destroy anyone who tried to hurt either of you. Like Adam did when his father threatened to keep us apart. Like you did tonight, by killing Rigby. That was fucking brutal, by the way.”

“He thought he owned you. Both of you. Whatever he was planning to do with you, I couldn’t let him. The two of you own me; that’s how it works. You own me, and I own you. Nobody’s allowed to take you away.”

Fuck, our kitten is so fucking fierce. A collective shiver passes through all of us. The weather, Wes’s declaration, everything.

“Let’s get inside,” I tell them. “There’s a fireplace we can use to warm up.”

We all stumble in on tired legs. Me, I’m in the middle of an adrenaline crash. The other two don’t look much better.

Which reminds me. “Really sorry about your car, Kitten.”

The look on his face when he told us it was all he had? Wrecked me.

“I’m not.” Wes’s fingers find the hair at my nape for a moment before collapsing onto the lumpy old sofa.

“Between you and the car, it was never a question. Things can be replaced. People can’t.

” He scrunches his forehead in thought. “Not that I’m exactly sure how I’ll do that yet. I kind of quit my job this evening.”

Adam looks at me with his eyebrow raised. Should we tell him?

We definitely should.

My oldest friend goes over to where Wes is sprawled with his head back, climbing into his lap. “We had an idea about that, actually.”

Wes blinks his eyes open. “Oh yeah?”

Brennan’s fireplace looks poorly maintained, but I’m able to get a fire going. As soon as I’ve got heat circulating, I collapse on the sofa next to both of them. “Less of an idea, more of a deal.”

“Like a contract,” Adam adds.

Wes looks back and forth between us. “I’m not following.”

I reach over to squeeze his upper thigh, getting a little of Adam’s ass in the process.

“After you left the other night, Adam and I talked. We decided we weren’t going to let you go.

We figured we’d start with offering you something we knew you’d want in exchange for sticking around and giving us access to your tight ass. ”

“You’re saying you wanted me to whore myself out to you?” His tired laugh soothes my soul.

“That’s right.” I squeeze Wes’s leg. “If that didn’t work, we figured we’d have to kidnap you again. Take you out to that abandoned bed and breakfast, chain you up, and leave you with the ghosts until you agreed to never leave us again.”

For a guy we’ve just threatened with kidnapping, Wes hardly seems fazed.

“You know, I didn’t actually leave you guys.

I went to visit my brother. To patch things up with him, to clear my head, and yes, to maybe consider whether or not all of us being together was the right thing, but I hadn’t decided yet. ”

“Too risky,” Adam says.

“Never hurts to be proactive,” I agree.

“Well.” Wes threads his fingers into my hair again. “I can’t see falling in love with someone else I trust enough to do the things I like you both to do to me. You’re stuck with me at this point.”

Adam perks up. “You really love us?”

Something inside me settles. Hearing it from Rigby was one thing. Hearing it from Wes? I didn’t realize how much I needed it from him. “We love you too, you know.”

“Surprise.” Adam’s all sarcasm.

Fine. I suppose it’s been obvious for a while, at least on our end.

“Well, it took me by surprise.” Wes’s free arm pulls Adam in for a kiss, his tongue licking against Adam’s lip.

“You two are so fucking hot,” I moan. When Adam begins grinding himself against Wes, I add, “Probably better if we don’t fuck you tonight though, Kitten. You’ve been through a lot. You need rest.”

Adam groans and pulls away. “Please, not another lecture on the importance of sleep.” He regards Wes seriously. “You’ll have to get used to those.”

“I’m not lecturing about anything. Wes fucking killed someone tonight. He’s not from our world, and if he’s not reeling yet, he might be later. He already got so overwhelmed he passed out. Besides, his asshole’s probably still wrecked from last time. All I’m saying is we should take a beat, right?”

Adam signs. “Not that I’m happy about it, but Troy’s got a point.”

But Wes has a gleam in his eye. “I haven’t gotten to watch the two of you together yet.”

“You could have if you’d stuck around that time you brought food up to Rigby’s hotel room.”

“No, I fucking couldn’t have,” Wes grits out. “Even then I didn’t like the idea of seeing you two with someone else. I just wasn’t ready to admit it yet. Honestly, Rigby’s lucky I didn’t kill him sooner.”

“Aww. Kitten’s got claws, Adam.”

“Spicy.” My friend nods. “I love it.”

Wes sits up, looking more alert. “Look, I’m serious. Rigby wanted to take you away from me, and if I’m stuck with you, then it’s like I said. You’re stuck with me too.”

“We’re all stuck with each other,” Adam agrees. “It’s good that we love you back.”

“In a fucked-up, kinky way,” I murmur.

“I don’t care how you love me as long as you do.” Wes glances at me and then at Adam. “Now, let me see you fuck him.”

I slide off the sofa and pull myself up to standing. “Let’s see. We didn’t exactly come prepared. Wonder if there’s any lube out here.”

“It’s Brennan’s place,” Adam points out.

“True, that pervert’s paraded every twink from here to the Georgia state line through here.”

“Your pimp seems like a real piece of work,” Wes says.

“Ex-pimp.” Adam nuzzles Wes’s neck. “We quit.”

“Yeah, that was the deal Adam mentioned. The B&B you took us to? We made an offer on it yesterday. We can all live there together, help you run the place. Help you with repairs.”

Wes’s eyes go wide. “What? You can’t do that.”

“Try and fight us. You’ll lose,” Adam puts in. “Anyway, Troy and I worked construction a little after we left home. I’m handy with a circular saw.”

I clear my throat. “He’s lying. Don’t let Adam near any sharp shit. He’s excellent at pounding things, though.” I laugh. “Bonus, there’s that lake out back in case we ever need to dispose of any more bodies.”

“I’d really like to have that be a thing we never do again,” Wes insists.

“Oh. Also, Brennan bought this farm nearby that used to have a cult living there, so we’ll practically be neighbors with him.” Adam looks excited, but Wes does not.

Honestly, poor guy looks like he’s got heartburn.

Maybe it’s all the stress. “That’s not the selling point you might think it is.

Anyway, you should withdraw the offer. Even at a reduced price, that property is way out of my price range.

And it’s going to need repairs we can’t do ourselves.

No way I can even begin to handle that.”

“But we can,” Adam insists.

“Right.” I lean in to claim Wes’s lips for a second. “You can’t stop us. It’s already in the works.”

“Jesus, Rigby wasn’t kidding when he said I was the gold digger.” Poor Wes looks devastated.

“You’re not digging anything when we’re practically throwing it at you. Listen, our buddy Michael talked us into investing most of our earnings. We’ve got plenty of money. We hadn’t quit yet because we didn’t know what else to do, but now we know.”

“Yeah. We’re going to buy a house for you, and you’re going to be our whore.” Adam’s getting too much amusement from this.

Wes sighs. “You’re going to make me regret calling you that forever, aren’t you?”

“Without question.” I put my hand on Wes’s shoulder. “Now. Let me go see about that lube.”

The bathroom cabinet provides what I’m looking for, and when I return, Wes and Adam are kissing again on the couch.

“Starting without me?”

“Trying to keep him awake until you got back.”

“Hey. I’m fully awake here.” Wes yawns as soon as the words are out of his mouth.

“That’s sad, Kitten. I was only gone for about thirty seconds.”

Adam chuckles and climbs out of Wes’s lap, settling on a thick area rug in front of the fire. “Hurry, then. Get over here so you can fuck me, babe.” He turns to Wes. “Unless you want me to fuck him?”

Wes licks his lips, considering. “I want you to ride him,” he tells Adam.

And here I am rubbing my hands together like a wicked movie villain. “This’ll be fun.”

I slick myself up, and Adam climbs on top. “You want to stretch him out, Kitten?”

“Not sure I know how.”

“Grab the lube and finger me a little. Easy peasy,” Adam says.

The look of concentration on Wes’s face is adorable as he prods carefully between Adam’s cheeks.

Who turns to say, “Babe, Troy plowed into you with hardly any prep at all. I promise, I can handle more than that.”

“Do you like it though?” Wes swallows. “I like it when you guys make it hurt. I don’t want to do that to you if it’s not your thing.”

Aww. Wes’s cheeks look extra rosy in the glow of the firelight.

Adam reaches down, sliding his hand along Wes’s arm. “Whatever you want to do to me, I’ll like it because it’s you.”

“As long as you’re not performing with me. I never want that.”

“Never,” I promise, and Adam nods his agreement. “Now climb up here and ride me, Adam.”

We haven’t done this in a while. For whatever reason, Rigby liked it when Adam fucked me, and he was our most regular client. A lot of the guys who hired us liked to be double-teamed. Occasionally, I’d fuck Adam while he fucked his ex, but that didn’t happen often.

“Oh hell.” It’s more of a groan as Adam’s heat wraps around me. “Just remembered Ruby. You did break up with her, right?”

Adam lets out a low moan. “Told you. I sent a text.”

“I’ll send her a fucking text. Make sure she gets the message.

” Wes is pulling off his clothes. There’s want in his eyes.

And determination. He straddles my legs, taking up a position pressed right against Adam’s back.

He snakes one arm around Adam’s waist, the other wraps around Adam’s shoulder, with a hand resting on Adam’s pec.

He captures Adam’s earlobe between his teeth.

“That day I saw you outside the hotel with her? I fucking hated it.”

Adam whines. “We still thought you hated us.”

“Maybe I did. Didn’t stop me from wanting you.”

Can’t help but laugh at Wes’s possessiveness. “Be sure to let her down easy, Kitten.”

Wes makes a noise in his throat. Sort of a rumble of satisfaction, maybe also one of ownership, given the way he’s pawing at Adam. The hand on Adam’s waist slides lower, taking hold of his cock.

“Oh, damn, that’s good,” Adam moans.

“That’s it, Kitten. Jerk him off. Help him come. After the night we’ve had, I won’t take long.”

It’s a good thing I’m on my back. The subtle, tired shaking in my muscles that’s followed me since the hotel has gotten worse. It’s difficult to simply keep my hands on Adam’s waist, to keep moving with him as he rises and falls on my cock.

I’m wrecked and strung out, needing release. I could blow at any second. All I’m waiting for is Adam.

“Harder, babe.”

Not sure which of us Adam is talking to, I lift my hips as best I can, fucking up into him.

Wes shuttles his hand faster over Adam’s cock.

Soon enough we’ve got him shaking and spilling all over us both.

The second he’s spent, I let loose, shouting my release so loud it echoes around the little cabin.

At first I’m thinking Wes hasn’t come yet, but then I realize he’s been rubbing off on Adam’s ass. His breath stutters as he shoots all over Adam’s backside.

We all collapse together, too worn out to get up and shower yet.

Wes lifts his head to look at me. “You guys don’t really want to buy me a house, do you?”

“Nope.” I press my lips against his. “We want to buy all of us a house. Oh, also, when we went back with a realtor, that chubby cat was there, only less chubby and she had a litter of four kittens. Not sure if she was dumped or what, but she’s ours now, like you are.

Promised the realtor a massive bonus to make sure they’re all taken care of until we move in. ”

Maybe it’s the fire, but Wes’s eyes look downright misty. “That… Wow. I’ve always wanted a pet. Gina had allergies.”

“Well, you’ve got five of them now. And you’ve got us. And you’re never allowed to leave,” Adam reminds him tiredly. “We’ll tie you up in that little cottage out back if we have to.”

“If that’s what you want.” Wes gives me a tired smile. “You know that place is on acres of land. Lots of room for the two of you to chase me down. Or whatever.”

Fuck. Yes. This is going to be so good.
