Epilogue

SINCLAIR

The guys all stood watch while the electrician finished installing the last of the security alarms and packed up to leave.

Each of them had their own way of pretending they weren't following them around and watching every move. It was adorable, but no one was fooled.

Coast would pass them by on the way to nowhere in particular and stop for a chat every now and again.

Phoenix must have run around the outside of the house a hundred times, exercising while supervising.

Javey, apparently tired of sticking into the shadows, openly watched them his with arms crossed, eyes narrowed.

I had a feeling they finished more quickly and packed up faster because of it.

Either way, our new home was as secure as a place could be. Iron gates, cameras everywhere, alarm systems that would wail and send a signal to a security team.

There was almost nowhere in our huge house that I could go that I couldn't be seen on one camera or another.

Instead of sitting in his car, or standing under a tree, Javey could sit in the control room and watch me.

Coast and Phoenix teased him for doing it, but he shrugged them off and went on watching when I wasn't spending time with him and the others. Fortunately, the security system was finished, so that could happen more often.

"I still don't like leaving you and playing away," Coast said.

The Demons had made it all the way to the playoffs, but lost by a goal. They'd gone away disappointed, but more determined to win the cup this season.

"You have access to every camera in the house, on your phone," I reminded him. "The only place I can go that you can't see me is the toilet." Was it a little excessive and obsessive? Yeah, but I got to keep an eye on them as well.

When I was at work and they were at home, I could check to make sure they were alive and safe. Some day, I might learn to relax again. According to my therapist, the hyper vigilance was normal.

Besides, when they were in the gym they built into our new house, I liked to watch them get all hot and sweaty.

"Yes, but you have to leave home to go to work," Phoenix pointed out.

"Which all of you can track with the car's GPS and the tracker in my earring," I said. "I can't sneeze without you all knowing about it."

Literally. After the first couple of cameras were installed, I sneezed and got a message from Phoenix to say 'bless you.'

Sometimes it felt like I'd gone from having one stalker to three, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I felt safe and loved with them around.

Even when they weren't, nothing and no one, except a violent act of nature, was going to get me in here. Since the house was built to withstand fires, floods and everything but a nuclear device, there was nowhere safer for me to be.

"We worry because we love you," Coast said. He pulled me to him and kissed my nose.

"I love you all too," I said. The next thing I knew, they were all surrounding me, arms around me and each other.

"I love all of you," Phoenix said.

"Back at you," Coast said.

"What he said," Javey agreed. Neither of them were big on talking about their feelings, especially the ones towards each other. But everyone knew.

They were such men. I wouldn't have them any other way.

Phoenix here, if you loved our story, as much as we did, leave a review tell your friends and all that shit.

Wren’s story is up next in Power Play

You probably noticed, I have a bit of a kink. Probably more than one, but the whole thing about fucking Sinclair while she was asleep, that's in the bonus scene, which you can get here.
