Chapter 5
Atlas
I paced in Hugh’s large office, desperately trying not to sweat through my suit, but failing miserably. He’d left me in there while he grabbed his cousin Linden.
Cousins.
I’d completely forgotten they were cousins. No wonder they didn’t touch each other at all that night. Was it wrong of me to think they’d be hot together? The thought of that taboo element practically sent all the blood southward.
Do not get a hard-on, Atlas. Not cool.
I desperately wanted this job, but it was completely surreal that I fucked the two VPs last Friday.
Jesus, I should’ve run as soon as Hugh nearly punched my lights out after believing I’d stalked him.
Talk about mortifying. Yeah, the two men were hot, but I’d never stalk them.
I was desperate, but not that desperate, not to mention it was illegal.
I checked my watch and saw that Hugh had been gone for almost fifteen minutes.
“What are they talking about in there?” I mumbled to myself.
They were talking about me, obviously. Duh.
Hugh was most likely warning Linden about who I was.
Maybe they were discussing what to do with me.
Would they send me home and hire someone else?
Probably. My only hope was that I hadn’t been kicked out of their offices yet.
God, I needed this job. Would it be awkward that I’d fucked them? Yeah. Totally. But I’d get over it for eighty thousand bucks a year.
I jumped out of my skin as soon as the door suddenly opened. I quickly turned around to find Hugh coming with Linden behind him.
Seeing them reminded me of how gorgeous they were. They’d been beautiful that night, but during daylight hours and wearing pressed suits? Holy hell. They were drool-worthy. If I weren’t so nervous and had any saliva in my mouth, I would drool.
I loved Hugh in his dark gray suit and burgundy tie. But Linden’s suit was a lighter shade of blue, not quite navy. That was when I noticed how light blue his eyes were. Stunning. I hadn’t been able to tell in that dark room at the club.
Linden stepped up to me, his eyes twinkling with good nature. He seemed like a chill guy, whereas Hugh seemed more intense, but not in a bad way. In an ‘I’m going to dominate you and make you experience things you never even imagined’ kind of way. Because he did exactly that when we hooked up.
I shuddered inwardly. Linden noticed it, too, when he took my hand to shake. You could see it in his small smirk.
“Hello, Atlas,” he said.
“Hello, Mr. Pierce.”
Linden turned to face his cousin with a huge smile on his face, exposing very expensive teeth. “Oh, this is gonna be fun.”
Hugh chuckled and sat on the leather chair next to the sofa. “Right?”
I was so lost.
“Sit down, Atlas… please,” Hugh said, waving at the sofa by the large, picturesque windows.
I did as I was told, crossing my legs. I wanted to show them I was relaxed and confident, though I wasn’t sure I was pulling it off, since my insides were twisting. And I wish to hell I’d stop sweating! Ugh. Gross.
As soon as Linden sat down next to me, sitting much the same as I was, Hugh simply said, “We want to hire you.”
My brow shot to my hairline. “Wait… what? But you haven’t even interviewed me.”
The two men glanced at each other before they focused on me. Hugh leaned forward, his eyes dead set on mine. “None of this leaves this office. Is that understood?”
“Uhm, okay. Yeah, I won’t say anything.”
“Linden and I want to be completely transparent. Consent is everything to us.” When I nodded, he continued. “We not only want you as our PA, but we also want access to you. I’m going to be honest, Linden and I were… completely enthralled with you on Friday night. We find you beautiful and—”
I perked up and sat up straighter. No one had ever called me beautiful before. Cute, yes. Sexy for my ass, sure. Never beautiful. “You… think I’m beautiful?”
Hugh’s brown eyes glimmered with humor, much as Linden’s had done earlier. “Yes, we do.”
I saw where this was going. “So, you… want me more than as a PA.”
“I knew he was smart and quick,” Hugh said to Linden.
“You’re always right, cuz.”
Hugh turned his attention back to me and rested his elbows on his thighs.
“You’re eager to please and quick to react.
I believe you can easily do this job. There are plenty of people who have applied and who are more than qualified.
The position isn’t complicated, just busy work.
What we need is someone we can get along with.
Someone who meshes well with Linden and me.
However, we would like to see more of you outside of office hours.
If you say no, then it’s a no. You can still have the job, no questions asked, and we’ll never mention it again. Friday night will be forgotten.”
I ran my clammy hands over my thighs, seriously contemplating this, but I had to be logical about it. “Do you ask all your PAs this?” I asked with a self-deprecating laugh.
“No,” Linden said, drawing my attention to him. “We’ve never done this before. You’re… a special case.”
Being special wasn’t half bad, right? And they actually thought I was beautiful?
I nodded, giving this careful consideration.
If I hadn’t already been with them, it would’ve been a big fat no.
Even so, if Hugh hadn’t given me so many green flags that night, I would’ve said no, anyway.
He made sure I was comfortable, and he gave me options.
But they were being open and honest with this.
I felt safe no matter what decision I made. And if I said no, I still had the job.
“Can I be honest?” I asked them.
Hugh nodded and sat back in his chair. “By all means. We prefer it.”
“Will this get me fired? I don’t want to be fired right after I start.”
“My father won’t like it, no. Linden and I are also taking a risk here.”
“B-but why? Why risk your jobs for… me?”
“Granted, we have less at risk than you do. We’ll survive just fine,” Hugh explained.
He was clearly the one in charge, even with Linden.
“If the company does fire you, we’ll make sure you’re financially covered and help you find another job, and give you a glowing review.
We won’t leave you hanging out to dry for our life choices. ”
I glanced at Linden as he leaned close enough to me that I could inhale his fresh, aquatic scent. It was so much lighter and fresher than Hugh’s bolder cologne. If colognes were personalities, their scents fit them perfectly.
“I thought you liked us,” Linden whispered in my ear, sending chills across my body.
“Yes, this is highly unusual and definitely inappropriate, but you’ve captured us, Atlas.
” My eyes glanced at Hugh, who watched our interaction closely.
His coffee eyes had turned black. Clearly, Linden’s reaction to me turned him on.
“You can tell us to stop, and we will, and again, you will be able to keep your job. Don’t worry about that part.
Or you can enter our world. Trust me when I tell you that you’ll be rewarded in so many ways. We will treat you like our princess.”
It was definitely not appropriate for work, but I wanted to see where this went.
I wanted to be their princess. Was it strange that I was ready to leap into this after only one night with them?
An amazing night, sure, but it’d only happened once.
Yeah, I’d like to be theirs. I enjoyed being called beautiful and being worshiped.
They made me feel… good, confident, and special.
Linden and Hugh wanted me, of all people.
They were risking their jobs to have me. Why did that make me warm inside?
“What would you have me do?” I asked.
“Be doted on. Be adored. But there’s a caveat,” Hugh explained.
“What caveat?”
He leaned forward again; this time, he was grinning. “If you mess up in your job in any way, we get to punish you… in the best possible way, of course.”
I swallowed, and there went the blood, straight to my cock. “Punished?”
Linden scooted closer to me and draped his arm over the back of the sofa. “What do you think about spankings?”
I hadn’t been spanked before, but it sounded fun coming from them. My mind flashed to being bent over their desks, stripped of my slacks and underwear, and having them smack my ass before pounding into me. “Okay! Yes,” I blurted.
Hugh reached for my face and grazed the backs of his fingers across my cheek. “Stunning skin. Atlas? We want you to explore our world with us. We think you’d be perfect. I know you’d be perfect. In return, we will reward you greatly, and there will be just you and only you, no one else.”
“And if you want to stop at any time, we’ll stop,” Linden reminded me.
“That’s right,” Hugh said. “Are you in?”
I didn’t think about it too hard, though perhaps I should have. Get paid well and have some kinky fun? Seemed like a great time. It could end in disaster, too. I was being impulsive, but I wasn’t stupid. “Yes, I’m in.”
Hugh stood and sat behind his desk to rummage in one of his drawers. “Let’s set you up with HR. Linden and I will have a private agreement that we will all sign. It’s not only to protect us, but to protect you.”
“Like an NDA?”
“Sort of. There will be a list of expectations and such.”
“When can you start?” Linden asked.
“I have to give my two weeks’ notice. I didn’t want to say anything until I was certain I got the job.”
Hugh pulled out a manila folder and dropped it on his desk.
“This has all the paperwork to fill out that will be given to HR. Inside is a list of duties and your job description. You’ll have health, dental, and personal time off, as well as two weeks of paid vacation.
The salary starts at $80,000. All are non-negotiable.
I think our employment package is more than generous. ”
“God, I can’t believe you hired me. I mean… You don’t even know me. What if I’m bad at it?”
“We’ve already looked into your work history.
You’ll be fine. However, while you will be punished for fun for making mistakes, we also don’t want that to be a regular occurrence.
Linden and I still have jobs to maintain, and we don’t need to make our workload worse.
You’re still here to take the load off our jobs, so we expect you to do your best.”
My mind was still reeling. It was so wild. If someone had told me when I woke up this morning, I would not only run into my one-night stand and have them hire me, but also that they wanted more of me sexually.
“Oh, I will do my best, for sure. So… is this a temporary thing or…?” I left the rest hanging to see where they took it.
“This is on a trial basis. I think we all want to make sure we mesh well, right?” Linden asked.
Hugh nodded in agreement. “Right.”
“But it can last as long as you’d like, Atlas, or as long as we’d like. There’s no time cap here.”
I had to think about that. If it was a long time, what if… Yeah, I could see feelings happening, especially from me.
“What if I get… the feels?” I finally asked. Did I want to know? Falling for them would probably be my biggest problem. I knew myself enough that I got attached easily whenever a man showed more interest in me than a quick fuck.
Hugh shrugged as if it was nothing for me to fall in love with them, eventually. “Then you get the feels. We’ll talk about it. Communication and honesty should be the most important things between the three of us. It won’t work without it.”
Strange, because Hugh didn’t seem the type to settle down.
I was still trying to get a read on Linden.
He was too chill about everything. I glanced over at him.
He was frowning, looking down at his foot, which rested on his knee.
Why the sudden mood shift? And like the blink of an eye, he lights up and smiles. “Yep. Communication. So important.”
His reaction was the only thing currently holding me back. “Is… this okay, Mr. Pierce?”
He grinned at me like he was suddenly hungry for my body. “Definitely okay, as long as you keep calling me Mr. Pierce. I like it.”
Huh, perhaps I read him wrong. He seemed fine.
“Let’s do it.”
“Excellent,” Hugh said. “We’ll start in two weeks.”
