Chapter 19
Chapter Nineteen
After the incident with the thermometer, Leah was more relaxed for a while. She stopped fighting him. Maybe because she was sated and tired.
She dozed fitfully but never more than about fifteen minutes before she turned to him, needing him again. Sometimes he rubbed her clit, sometimes he eased his fingers into her pussy, and a few times, he simply suckled her nipples until she came.
She would rest again and wake up needy over and over. He only let her have his cock in her tight pussy two more times. As a shifter, she would heal fast, but he didn’t want to risk her being sore.
She whimpered when he took her temperature, but he didn’t have to hold her down again. She let him ease the rod into her bottom.
Finally, she was ready. Overheated and restless. Her gaze was wild. “Daddy…” she moaned.
He lifted her into his arms and turned to stand her on the floor, supporting her swaying weight with his hands on her hips. “It’s time, Little one. Don’t fight it. Relax your mind and let your shift take over. Focus on your wolf.”
She met his gaze with blurry eyes. “Scared.”
He smiled. “I know, Little one, but in a few moments, you will be in wolf form. It’s only scary the first time.”
She gave him an odd smile. “Like sex.”
He chuckled. “Like sex. Even anal sex.” He lifted a brow, daring her to challenge him.
She rolled her eyes. “That’s still gross.”
He laughed. “It’s not. Your bottom is part of you, and I won’t leave any part of you untouched.”
She scrunched up her nose, but he knew she was full of shit. She just didn’t want to admit she’d liked it. She shivered in his arms, sobering. “Feels weird.”
“I know it does, Little one. It’s like a pressure, trying to get out. Let it out.” He released her and sat on the edge of the bed.
She took a step back, almost stumbling, closed her eyes, and inhaled deeply. Seconds later, her shift took over, and she dropped onto all fours in front of him.
His eyes went wide. She was the most glorious wolf he’d ever seen. Her brown fur had red and gold highlights. It was beautiful. She was beautiful. He smiled and reached out a hand. “Try to take a few steps, pretty girl.”
She wobbled, trying to find her balance, before eventually striding his direction.
He ran his hand through her fur, rubbing under her chin when she tipped her snout back. “You are the most gorgeous wolf I’ve ever seen, Leah.”
She lifted her snout farther and howled. It seemed to startle her because she stumbled backward afterward.
He chuckled. “Your voice works,” he teased. “Won’t have to worry about your ability to call for help.”
She turned to look at him, cocking her head to one side.
He probably shouldn’t have mentioned her possibly needing help right now. It wasn’t necessary, but it was too late. He shrugged. “You might find yourself in dangerous situations in the wild, Little one. I’ll want you to howl like that if you do.”
She seemed mollified by his answer and turned slowly to wander out of the room.
Elias rose to follow her, noting that her gaze was down. She was simply getting her gait figured out. It was tricky at first, but soon she had it and was prancing around the house, sniffing everything and even licking in some places.
He stood back, giving her space. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was stunning, and she was his.
Finally, she stopped exploring, glanced around, and shifted back.
She was panting from the exhilaration and grinning broadly. “That was so cool.” She hurried toward him and nearly knocked him over jumping into his arms unexpectedly.
He chuckled as he caught her around the waist. When she wrapped her legs around him, he palmed her bottom and turned to carry her back into the bedroom.
As soon as he lowered her to the bed, she sighed. All her excitement from moments ago faded. “So tired…” Her eyes drooped.
He left her limp body sprawled out on the bed and headed for the kitchen to grab her a bottle. She needed fluids and calories after the night they’d had. A bottle was the easiest way to get both in her.
When he returned and climbed onto the bed, she barely opened her eyes. “Sleepy, Daddy.”
He held up the bottle and tapped her lips. “You need to feed first, Baby girl.”
She slowly accepted the nipple, drawing it into her mouth before finally suckling. She stared at him, uncertainty in her gaze, brow furrowed, cheeks growing pink.
He settled on his hip next to her and smiled. “Let Daddy feed you, Leah. Taking care of you will be my greatest pleasure in life. It’s as instinctive for me to dote on you as it is for you to accept my care.”
She closed her eyes and suckled harder, accepting his dominance, at least for the time being.
When the bottle was empty, he set it aside and reached for a diaper from the nightstand. She was limp and nearly asleep, and she didn’t fight him when he lifted her hips, slid the soft material under her, and closed it around her waist.
She frowned as he pulled the covers over her. Now that the frenzy of the shift was over, her temperature had dropped, and she was shivering.
Elias pulled her into his arms, kissed her neck, and whispered, “Submit, Little one. Let yourself fully relax. You can sleep harder than ever when you’re diapered. Daddy’s got you.”
Either she believed him or she was too tired to argue because she slid into a deep sleep.
For a while, Elias watched her. She was so peaceful. So unbelievably perfect. She was his. He’d been a fool to think this would never have happened to him. He was so happy that when he finally let himself join her in slumber, he was grinning.
