Chapter 22 #2

He didn’t finish his sentence, but he didn’t need to.

Just the fact that I was feeling any emotions from him showed what had changed.

He was different not just because of his connection to me, but because of the other guys.

He might not like them, but also with all of us around, he was no longer alone.

Gabriel’s hand tightened around mine, his warm magic flowing into me. “Eva,” he said again, but this time my name sounded like a prayer.

I pulled my hands away from their chests only to reach for them both. The towel fell to the floor, forgotten, as I grabbed Sebastian’s collar with one hand and Gabriel’s shirt with the other.

“Stop arguing,” I commanded, my voice stronger now. “If you want to make things better, just be with me.”

The magic between us surged, making the air crackle with electricity.

Sebastian’s eyes flashed with fire as he closed the distance between us, his lips crashing against mine.

His magic flowed into me like dark wine, heady and intoxicating.

I pulled him closer, my body arching against his as Gabriel’s hands found my waist.

I unbuttoned Sebastian’s shirt, pushing it over his shoulders and letting it fall to the floor. He helped me with the pants, then his hands gripped my bare ass, pulling me against him.

Sebastian broke the kiss, his breath hot against my neck. “You’re playing with fire,” he warned, but there was no real warning in his voice—only hunger.

“Then burn me,” I challenged, turning my head to find Gabriel’s lips.

The goblin’s kiss was different—slower, deeper, but no less passionate.

His hands roamed my body, warming me from the inside out as his magic mingled with mine.

At some point he’d lost his shirt, and I delighted in the feel of his warm chest pressing against me.

The golden cord between us pulsed bright, creating a loop where I couldn’t quite tell which feelings were mine, and which feelings were his.

Sebastian moved behind me, his body pressed against my back. His hands slid around to cup my breasts, his thumbs brushing over my nipples. “So demanding,” he murmured against my ear, making me shiver. “What would you like us to do to you, dear Eva?” he whispered, his voice dark with promise.

I gasped as his fingers pinched my nipples, sending sharp waves of pleasure through me.

Gabriel’s mouth moved from my lips to my neck, his tongue tracing a hot path downward.

I gasped again as our magic intertwined in ways that made my head spin.

I found the clasp on Gabriel’s pants, then pushed them down over his hips.

“Both of you,” I breathed, my voice barely audible. “I need both of you.”

Gabriel lifted me effortlessly, his strong arms carrying me to the bed. Sebastian followed, his eyes never leaving my body. The towel was long forgotten, leaving me completely bare between them.

“On your back,” Sebastian commanded, his voice rough with heat.

I complied, rolling onto my back as Gabriel’s hands stroked down my arms. Sebastian knelt before me, his hands spreading my thighs as he leaned between them.

I gasped as Sebastian’s fingers traced my entrance, his touch sending electric currents through my body. His magic flowed into me, dark and intense, mingling with Gabriel’s warm energy as the goblin propped me up to kiss his way down my spine.

“Eva,” Gabriel murmured against my skin, his large hands kneading my hips from behind, making me open wider for Sebastian.

Sebastian’s fingers slipped inside me, and I arched my back, pushing against him. “More,” I begged, my voice hoarse with need.

Sebastian withdrew his fingers, replacing them with his mouth. My hips bucked, but Gabriel dug his fingers into my flesh, holding me still while Sebastian’s tongue traced expert lines across my most sensitive areas.

I could feel him practically trembling with restraint, and I wiggled my hips further down the bed, inviting him toward me.

With an amused smirk, he stood, showing me that he was hard and ready. Just the sight of it made my body convulse again. He entered me slowly, stretching me as Gabriel cradled my back in his lap, letting me feel that he was just as ready as Sebastian was.

Sebastian pushed deeper, his hands gripping my hips.

Gabriel leaned down, capturing my mouth with his while Sebastian filled me completely.

The dual sensation was overwhelming—Sebastian sliding into me, while Gabriel’s mouth and hands worshiped my body.

The golden cords between us pulsed with shared pleasure, amplifying every sensation until I could barely think.

Gabriel’s calloused hands caressed my breasts, his thumbs circling my nipples as he lowered his mouth to capture one between his lips.

I moaned, my head falling back as Sebastian’s pace increased. His grip on my hips tightened, possessive and demanding. The darkness that had frightened me earlier seemed distant now, overwhelmed by the connection between us.

“More,” I gasped, reaching for Gabriel.

He understood, shifting his weight to position himself at my mouth. I took him eagerly, my tongue swirling around him as Sebastian continued his relentless rhythm.

The taste of Gabriel filled my mouth as Sebastian drove deeper, his rhythm becoming more urgent. My body was caught between them, overwhelmed by sensation and the pulsing magic flowing through our connection.

Sebastian’s hands slid from my hips to my breasts, squeezing them as he thrust harder. “You’re perfect like this,” he growled, his voice rough with desire. “Taking us both.”

I moaned around Gabriel, my eyes watering as Sebastian hit that perfect spot inside me. The golden cords between us blazed brighter as I neared climax.

Gabriel’s fingers tangled in my hair, gentle despite his obvious arousal.

Sebastian’s pace became erratic, his breathing harsh against my neck. “I’m close,” he warned, his fingers digging into my flesh.

I took Gabriel deeper, wanting to bring him with us. The magic surged between us, building toward a crescendo that threatened to overwhelm me completely. Sebastian’s rhythm became desperate, his fingers bruising my hips as he drove into me with relentless force.

Sebastian thrust one final time, filling me as he groaned my name. His release triggered my own, waves of ecstasy crashing through me as I cried out around Gabriel.

My body convulsed between them, the magic surging through our connection in bright, blinding flashes. Sebastian collapsed against me, his breath hot on my chest as Gabriel found his own release, his fingers tightening in my hair.

For several moments, we remained connected, the golden cords between us pulsing with our shared satisfaction.

Gradually, Sebastian slipped out of me and rolled onto his side on the bed, his breathing still ragged. Gabriel moved to lie on my other side, his large hand gently stroking my hair. I lay between them, my body still trembling with aftershocks.

“Feel better now?” Sebastian asked, his voice rough.

I managed a weak smile. “Maybe.”

Gabriel’s arm tightened around me. “We’re not done discussing what happened in the bathroom.”

I sighed, nestling closer to his warmth. “I know.”

Sebastian propped himself up on one elbow, looking down at me with those sharp dark eyes. “The darkness wants you specifically, Eva. We can’t pretend otherwise.”

I stared at the ceiling, feeling the truth of his words settle in my chest. “I know that too. But I still think we need to keep moving forward with the pathways.”

Gabriel’s hand stilled in my hair. “You’re not going to change your mind, are you?”

I shook my head, feeling the weight of their concern like a physical presence between us. “We’ve come too far. And besides, I think I need to understand what this darkness wants from me. Maybe the fairy realm will give us answers.”

Sebastian’s expression darkened. “Or it could make things worse.”

“Maybe,” I admitted, rolling to face him. “But I can’t live in fear of what might happen. My mom is depending on me.”

Gabriel kissed my back. “We’ll face it together.”

I smiled, grateful for his steady presence.

The golden cords between us pulsed gently, still humming with our shared energy, but in a more content and sleepy way.

For now, at least, the darkness felt distant, pushed back by the strength of our connection.

Through the small window, the city lights cast patterns across the ceiling.

“Tomorrow, then,” Gabriel said, his voice a low rumble against my ear. “The fairy realm.”

“Tomorrow,” I agreed, though anxiety twisted in my stomach. The darkness that had spoken to me felt different from the shadows we’d encountered before—more personal, more intentional. It knew me somehow, and that scared me more than I wanted to admit.

Sebastian’s hand found mine, our fingers intertwining. “Get some rest,” he murmured. “You’ll need it.”
