Epilogue

‘There they are, darling.

Look at them, scurrying around like little, tiny, insects.

They’re just begging to be squashed,’ I said.

I couldn’t believe how easy it was.

They had created such a mess, constantly fucking up our plans and slipping from our grasp, but they’d fallen for our trap without even knowing it.

By the time they’d figured it out, it was already too late.

We were practically on top of them, and now they had nowhere to hide. They couldn’t run. Not this time.

A head a black hair caught my eye, and I homed in on Xander standing by the others.

I smiled.

He looked dishevelled.

Completely unravelled.

‘Look, darling.

Look what I did to Xander.

He doesn’t even look like the same man,’ I chuckled.

‘I’ve ruined him, and now I’m going to watch him squirm while I kill him. I’ll make it slow. I’ll make it painful. I’ll fuck that little pink bitch as I slit her throat, and I’ll make him watch. Then I’ll do the same to his whore of a sister. He’ll never even see it coming. There’ll be nothing he can do to stop me. And when they’re all finally dead, we can take over the world. Just like they promised us.’

My darling groaned, the only sound she could make since that subject bitch almost killed her.

But there was no killing us.

We were invincible.

Immortal. And she would pay for her crimes.

‘Don’t worry, darling,’ I said, stroking the mess of her face.

That blundering idiot, Demari, had done his best to fix her, but nothing could ever bring back her beauty the way it was before.

‘That one’s all yours.’
