Epilogue

It's been three years.
I took classes online, and I've finally learned how to cook Japanese cuisine.
It's not anything extreme or sophisticated, just pork ramen, and it smells so good.
"What's taking so long?" Killian asks as he hugs me from behind, his hands caressing the bump on my stomach.
"Mommy, I wanna see," Danny, our beautiful son, demands to be let in on the meal I'm making.
Killian lets go of me and takes Danny to give him a view of the food.
"Wowww!" Danny exclaims.
"I'm plating. Can you two just wait a few more seconds?" I ask.
"No," they chorus, and I roll my eyes.
"I thought you were going to order when you said we were having Japanese for dinner," Killian smirks.
"I'm saving costs," I pout.
"And I'm grateful," he says, kissing my cheek. Then he gets on his knees and kisses my stomach. "You're going to love your mom's cooking, aren't you, Allison?"
We're having a daughter, and we've already named her Allison.
"Me too," Danny says as he also kisses my bump.
"Alright, that's enough; go get seated," I say to them, although I'm enjoying the attention from both of them.
"Hai!" Killian salutes and turns to Danny, asking, "Race you there?"
Danny immediately sprints away.
"Be careful," I warn.
"We will," Killian says and kisses me again. "I'll handle the plates."
Three years ago, Killian said our situation felt surreal.
Now I understand what he meant.
A man I couldn't stand, now the love of my life and father of my kids.
There have been moments when I dread what happened with the Steven Stalker, especially when I see the scar on Killian's side.
But when I look at Killian, Danny, and Allison on her way, I'm grateful that I kissed him first.
Something that was fake at first is now a reality.
