BONUS CHAPTERS
In this bonus material, we have the original beginning of Enter the Highlander, which revolved more around Cam and his reasons for joining the Ludus Caledonia and less on Cam and Isadora establishing a relationship.
You’ll see similarities to the final book, of course, but there are some subtle differences.
In this version, there was no Nikolaus and Clova, which I added in the second—and previously published—version.
Most importantly, the original version, as mentioned, revolved around Cam’s desire for revenge for his wife, Tira.
That was pretty much the entire focus. But in discussing it with the Sourcebooks editors, I went back to the drawing board and rewrote that entire subplot, removing the wife and adding Nikolaus and Clova instead, which I adore.
The prologue was the same for both versions, so I’ve excluded it from the bonus material. Chapter One picks up ten years later after the Prologue.
And with that, we jump right in!
